Mimizuku and the King of Night (ミミズクと夜の王) || Fan Animatic

I recently read a light novel called "Mimizuku and the King of Night" and it was amazing! It's very similar to the feeling a Ghibli movie will get you- a little bit of fantasy, wonder, tragedy, and whimsicalness (is that a word?)
Synopsis:
"Mimizuku and the King of Night" is about a little girl who has escaped her hometown and wanders into the woods to get eaten. Along the way she runs into the King of the Night and several other creatures.

Anyways I wanted to test out how my storyboarding skills have improved since taking the SB2 class and Drawing for Feature Storyboarding class at Brainstorm. The classes are still in session so we'll see how I improve at the very end!
SB2 really cleared up a lot of hesitations and mental hoops that I had a hard time getting through about storyboarding before taking the class. My next video will be a review about it probably lol.
