Thanks for posting: You might consider adding or advising the most ridiculous setting Panasonic has as a default is the auto correct on the viewfinder and monitor to NOT be WYSWYG, This is the CONSTANT PREVIEW SETTING, under Monitor display . Ive been bit by it a couple of times with resets on camera settings and big changes in lighting. Set the constant preview to ON, this will monitor your current exposure properly instead of making everything look great always regardless of being completely over or underexposed.
Oh thank God for you, man. I could not figure out why my "exposure" was changing, when it was just the backlight. What a bizarre setting for them to have! Thanks for the video!
I just figured this shit out, was driving me crazy through my first three shoots with the camera. Literally was messing up my exposure trying to compensate Then, after tinkering for two hours until I solved it, I see this video with all the answers lol
Not very clear on the first setting, does this override the dial? And there must be other settings in play I couldn't change it, I got a message saying "this setting can't be changed".
Hello sir I have a problem with my s5 monitor I guess. While a capturing a pic the live view of monitor doesn’t apply that settings I am changing for example if I change the iso or focus.. but after capturing the final image shows them. How to enable them while in love view?
Hello, could you help me, do you know if you can put the battery percentage instead of the typical lines, I have seen it done with the S1 and S1H, but in the settings of the S5 I can not find it anywhere, you know if this can it be done or maybe I have to update the firmware version to have this option? greetings thank you.
Hi thank you for the info. I’m a new Panasonic user and I’m still learning these menus. I keep getting the message, “This item can’t be selected when i try to toggle the focus peaking sensitivity. Do you know what could be the issue?

So cool the spot and the campfire, you are very lucky to have this life!
Very useful, thanks!
Thank you for posting this but some feedback-please go slower and show what menu and submenu you are on before jumping right into changing a setting
I changed the exposure mode to M and the exposure compensation was automatic. I changed it back to P and it wasn't automatic.
really ? i hope not as i assumed P was automatic
I cannot believe, there is no option to lock AWB with a custom button...
Good stuff
