One man has more Superbowls than not just any player, but any team. Tom Brady is the greatest player of all time, not just Quarterback. Jerry rice deserves a lot of respect and defensive monsters like Lawrence Taylor, and Troy Polamalu deserve more attention then they get, but Tom just wins. It's not just skill and intelligence, it's the obsessive drive, the next level leadership, and the freakish longevity that set him apart.
While he was with the Patriots I think they went to the Superbowl 9 times in 18 years, meaning they made it 50% of the time. One wiki article described the AFC Championship as the game where the best team in the AFC plays the Patriots for a chance to play in the Superbowl; when that article was written it had been over a decade since the Patriots missed the AFC Championship.

"Automatic" Otto Graham is the best, in my opinion. He played 10 years of pro football and went to 10 straight championships, winning seven of them. His first four years were in a different league (All-America Football Conference) than the NFL. His team, the Cleveland Browns, started in the AAFC and merged with the NFL after everyone in the AAFC got sick of getting destroyed by the Browns.

It's a good list, the only thing I disagree with is Steve Young over Brett Favre. Favre was the most lethal QB of the 90s, and that's coming from a Vikings fan who hated him at the time.

Tom Brady has the best stats by far but he honestly plays a different game than 90% of the QBs mentioned in the video. The guys who came before him got BEAT UP! I don't see Brady lasting nearly as long as he has if he played in the 70's, 80's or 90's. All the QBs mentioned in this video are AMAZING !! Kinda like having to pick a running back if your choices are Bo Jackson, Walter Payton and Barry Sanders.

Yet the QB’s in those eras weren’t facing the elite defense Brady is facing either. Brady would win in any era because he prepares & thinks like a coach. He stays calm & resolute under pressure. He was bringing teams back from defeat & leading them to championships in college. He’s done the same in the NFL against faster, stronger defenses than what the other quarterbacks faced.

Completely unbiased opinion: Tom Brady is undeniably the GOAT. I’m a packers fan so I’ve spent my entire life watching greats like Favre and Rodgers while also growing up hating the patriots and Brady. That being said, I think there’s many other QBs that have better tools than Brady but no one wins or pushes themselves like he does. Can Brady throw 60+ yards in the air while running to his left like Rodgers or mahomes? No? Can anyone else lead a team or know opponents like Brady does? Hell no

Brees holds some major records that may never be broken. He is the only player with multiple 5k yard seasons passing, he did it five times. He held the single season passing yard record until P Manning broke that by 1 yard. He holds the consecutive games with a touchdown pass streak at 54.
His greatest seasons which were MVP worthy always coincided with one’s where other players had fantastic years. In 2009, Manning won it when going 14-2 with the colts, and Bree’s went 13-3 with the Saints. Statistically They were incredibly close in Td’s manning had more yards, but 5 more interceptions. Brees would go on to defeat Manning in Super Bowl and win the game MVP.
In 2011 Brees broke Marino’s single season record for passing yards with 5,416 yards, 46 Td’s and 14 int’s going 13-3 and setting numerous team scoring records and individual nfl records.
But this was Rogers year to win it, the pack went 15-1 and Rogers would shatter the Passer rating record throwing 45 td’s and only 6 interceptions. The packers would fall to the Giants in Lambeau field in the divisional round in a massive upset. The Saints would lose on a last second TD, after Brees brought them back multiple times in the games final five minutes to the 49’ers. This was an epic game, with the leagues number 1 defense facing the leagues number 1 offense.
I won’t argue goat status, but statistically speaking, Brees holds countless records, a number of which will fall since his retirement, and Brady having outplayed him in career length.
I counted his records back in 2013, at that time, Brees held or was tied for first with 64 different individual NFL records for passing. Either regular season, playoffs, or career. Many have made an argument about his playoff success, but few put into perspective that he had brought his team back from the jaws of defeat to take the lead within the final minutes of a number of playoff games, only to watch the defense give up the winning score.
In his tenure, Brees had a top 10 defense only 3 times, Brady Meanwhile has enjoyed playing with a top ten defense 9 out of ten years in that span of time alone, and I’m not sure where the number finishes overall when he retires, but it’s likely around 15 times. That is a big piece of the “Ring” conversation.

Tom Brady is the goat, Peyton is runner up. Brady did not have better weapons throughout his time in New England. He had Gronk and that was about it. Never had a great run game and his receivers were interchangeable (except for Gronk). He did have a prime Randy Moss for about one season but other than that no elite wide outs at all. And no, Amendola and Welker were not elite by any stretch. They were good because of Brady and Belichek's system.

  • @stellarhyme3

Brady didn’t have the best coach, a mediocre coach got Brady. How many super bowls did Bill have without Brady? Zero. Yet Brady was winning championships in College. How many superbowls has Bill won since Brady? Zero. Yet Brady took the lowly Bucks to a super bowl win right after. Brady only had Moss for a couple of years. The rest was him using no name guys & making them into household names. Brady as your Quarterback is the difference maker that’s why his peers want to play with him. The coach ain’t on the field, Brady is. It was Brady who brought the team back in that super bowl against Atlanta. He’s the goat no question.

    Another banger local bro. 🌟⭐🌟🌟⭐⭐🌟🌟⭐⭐🌟🌟
Because football is a TEAM sport and many of these great QB's that were blessed to play alongside other great players it is very difficult to say who is/ was the absolute best. Payton Manning, Arron Rodgers, Dan Marino, Drew Brees all might be higher on this list had they been surrounded by more HOF team mates. In my opinion Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, Steve Young, and Troy Aikman were literally on super-teams for their time. The league has always been filled with exceptional, generational talent. It was just rare for that talent to be concentrated on a few teams. Mechanism like the draft, and free agency, and the free market have kept the talent well distributed. Just look a player like Tyrek Hill being lured away from the Chiefs to get that $$$$$.
My personal fav on this list is "Joe Cool." Joe Montana.🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈

Great quarterbacks look vulnerable all the time against elite defenses in the playoffs. If the defense can sack the QB a few times in the first half it will ruin the QB’s nerve. Except Brady. Nerves of steel. Nothing phases him when it matters most. He’s never injured. He never loses with the game on the line. He is the GOAT.

Roger Staubach was great! But Peyton Manning is my favorite QB. He and his brother have a show during Monday Night Football, where they watch the game and have guests on. You should check out different highlight videos. It’s really interesting to hear the two brother QBs talk about the different plays and what they would do in the same situation.

John Elway still holds the record for QB-ing the losing-est (is that a word. LOL) SB ever. 49ers 55. Denver 10. You seem so surprised that Elway got two mentions. He is the greatest QB ever for me. I watched him lose 3 SB's before he won one. Oddly enough, he won against the only other QB I loved, because he reminded me of Elway, Brett Favre. You need to do some Elway deep diving, Dude!

The Forward Pass, brought to you by rules changes to College Football in 1906.
I agree with this list. I saw Bradshaw, and the QBs mentioned after him play. I saw Bradshaw play in Super Bowl 14, which was his last one. Bradshaw is currently one of the hosts on Fox NFL Sunday. I've seen the others listed in the video post Bradshaw. I first started watching the NFL right after Staubach retired.
Montana did meet both Elway & Marino in a Super Bowl, neither game was close. Montana's 49ers beat the Dolphins (Marino) 38-16 and the Broncos (Elway) 55-10. The other two Super Bowls montana played in were close against the Cincinnatti Bengals. Ken Anderson was the Bengals QB in one Boomer Esiason was the Bengals QB in the other.
I first saw Favre play in the early 90s. In a playoff game where the Packers were hopelessly behind, he came in to replace Don Majkowski. While his efforts were not enough to win the game, he played well and lead the Packers to multiple TDs. Majkowski wouldn't be around much longer.
Rodgers, well he's still playing. No idea how much longer he has left in him. IDK if Brady will get another ring, but I wouldn't bet against him.

I say easily because though Montana was great as were some earlier QB's look at Tom's overall winning percentage how many games above .500 he is compared to anyone which the longer you play usually drops. compare his playoff wins and % and again no contest so yes I say without doubt easily the goat.
