Ugh, I know. It's not always easy to be a one man videographer and groundskeeper/property maintenance person (I don't know what else to call Andrew with the latter 2). I myself am a videographer (I don't get as much video as Andrew does at times but, still), and, sometimes it sure is a pain to get good perspectives, even just editing alone can be a bit of a pain. Both I know about as I do both pretty much next to all myself.
I have cable TV, Netflix, Prime Video, Plex full of movies. I am a 45 year old woman but would rather spend my time watching these fascinating videos. This man could thread a needle with the accuracy of how he uses his machines lol

Given the fact that you're so often working with trees, I'm kinda surprised you don't have a saw mill, especially given the price of lumber these days. I can totally see you building a log cabin on your new mountain-top property. What a great project that would be.
I've had to write a few performance evaluations in my day . If I had to do one for Andrew it would go something like this : Andrew is highly motivated , a self confident self starter who works very well independently with a minimum of instruction or supervision . He is innovative with well rounded skills and accepts new challenges in stride . Andrew's work ethic , motivation and skills make him a highly valued asset . On rare occasions in his eagerness to see the job to completion in a timely manner he can be a bit rough on the equipment .

Andrew’s contol of the bucket is simply superior. One perfectly timed and positioned swipe of the bucket to knock dirt off the root ball, and another in the other direction to do the same. No jiggling or jerking of the bucket, just as smooth as can be. A master at work. You can really see this on the speeded up video. It’s as if he’s using his fingers to move the logs.
Amazing work clearing the land. This guy did such a good job clearing the trees, moving the stumps and tamping down the soil, all that is left is to spread some grass seed and it would be a beautiful cleared meadow.
Your work is awesome, you are busy because you do a great job , clean up afterwards, leave the job in a better than expected way, customer service is top notch , I’m hooked watching , all I can say , everyone in any business, if they follow your work ethic you can only be successful, keep doing what your doing OUTSTANDING, and it looks like u love your job . You have a very good instructive ability. This customer is very lucky to have a ready supply of shale. Of course it is common in the area, as you have shown native shale deposits on many customer sites.

I wonder Andrew if you have ever thought of building yourself a log home. You have the equipment to access and deliver your logs to the site you'd choose. I would be very interested in watching you go through that development process. It would also be a knowledge base builder for you, you never know where learning will take you... something for you to ponder. :-)

It's been my observation that players like Andrew cannot hold onto a job working for another unless it's his dad (he learned his skills somewhere). I just read a dozen pages criticizing him because he doesn't chainsaw right (takes his shirt off and doesn't wear armor and pushes trees over before cutting them,etc.) Overloads his dump truck and scares the audience with his driving. No, I would never hire this guy: loose cannon on deck, probably an uppity type, and worst of all got his own opinion on how to do a job. OSHA would burn me at the stake. What I would do though is hire him as a contractor, and let him deal with the small stuff.

The roots dont go very deep on those trees either. Typical NE 🇺🇸 soil type. Very rocky and full of clay. The roots just kinda spread out and dont go very deep. Really easy to get trees blown over in a good storm too.

I am so amazed at the lack of roots on east coast trees. Here in the pnw there is no way we could push trees over like that. I stumped my property and had to dig down 7-10 feet on some stumps. Of course they were about 4 feet wide. But I digress!! Nice work as always!!!
A 4’ stump here would have a 18’ wide 8’ deep stump. And likewise, you would not push the tree over with a 15 ton excavator. These little 20” trees are tall so once you get em leaning they peal the roots right out.

The big Cat 955H doesn't show up often, but it's always a badass scene when it does bc its usually coming in to save the day.

He wields that multi-ton shovel more deftly than I can maneuver a fork when eating scrambled eggs.
Many of those shovel guys can use that shovel bucket to spin a nut on an anchor bolt up or down at will.

The roots dont go very deep on those trees either. Typical NE 🇺🇸 soil type. Very rocky and full of clay. The roots just kinda spread out and dont go very deep. Really easy to get trees blown over in a good storm too.
like in the comment below, In eastern Upstate New York and NE it's not very deep before you hit bedrock so trees have very shallow root systems
Another reason to get them away from buildings...:)
I think it has more to do with AC's skill level and knowledge than the machines. Kid knows what hes doing out there..

That cat crawler loader has the best sounding diesel engine I've heard the turbo spool is epic.

Use horses and do a bunch of back breaking work....and couldn’t get much done on your own. That sounds horrible.

I am so amazed at the lack of roots on east coast trees. Here in the pnw there is no way we could push trees over like that. I stumped my property and had to dig down 7-10 feet on some stumps. Of course they were about 4 feet wide. But I digress!! Nice work as always!!!
A 4’ stump here would have a 18’ wide 8’ deep stump. And likewise, you would not push the tree over with a 15 ton excavator. These little 20” trees are tall so once you get em leaning they peal the roots right out.
@@ericharris893 meh , Those roots look like bushes. And they are flat. Even a 20" tree over here has a much deeper root pack than those.
