I really need to up my lounge wear game in a massive way. I look nice and dressed for work and going out, but soon as I'm home - guilty as charged. I'm a total slob. Old sweatpants, stretched old mismatched tshirts and 500 year old hoodies. Even my husband is always saying, can't you buy something better? Your outfits are very inspirational, thanks for sharing!

I know what you mean about what happens when we retire. My thoughts on it for most of the time were I dressed up everyday for 35 years as a teacher, now I can relax my looks a little at home. I will admit there are times I miss being dressed up like I was when I worked, but I only do that when we are going out for the evening. PS I wish I had your tiny waist and I would be happy to wear a belt, however when my waist is larger I think belts accentuate my larger waist.❣️😱
THIS!!! This is what I need! I am retired and live a casual lifestyle in Colorado! I am looking for ways to elevate comfortable clothes! Most of my wardrobe consists of the "dreaded" leggings! I'm off to see the video about them now!
I updated my husband’s loungewear this Christmas. He never puts on sweats after he gets home from work. He just stays in jeans and I wanted him to be more comfortable. I got him really nice joggers and he can wear them with his flannel shirts to walk the dog, they look really nice. 😊
Thank you! I tend to wear old stuff around the house because it's comfortable and I know if I spill something, etc. it won't matter. Lately though, I feel gross everytime I look in the mirror or especially if someone comes to the door. I hate having to change to run to the store or an appointment. What happened to me?? This was inspiring!
Diana, I am 74 years young and could figure out why my t-shirts never looked as I had hoped. I now know the 1/3 - 2/3 system that I wasn’t using , was the problem. I am so excited to try the “tuck “ system which will solve most of my updating.

These are great tips for those work from home days. I found a good company (kettlewell colours) with these types of comfy but casual clothing but my mistake was going with color blocking instead of monochrome. It is amazing how making that simple tweak to an outfit can take it from frump to elegant in a snap.

I loved this video. I have been putting together loungewear that I can feel cozy and comfortable in. I have a few matching pieces that help me pull that off. If I am going out, I have a few elevated pieces that I may put together with an oversized blazer. Your looks are so amazing. Happy holidays.

I want to look stylish everyday when I go out so this has been the perfect video for me and I truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your work! I've seen how Reiss, London styles their side stripe casual pants for exercise or even for a casual dinner out buy pairing them with a Blazer to compliment the cream or tan side stripes. Surprisingly suitable for Dubai ‘winter’ …. Finding it hard to get dressed because mornings are fresh but after 10 am its too hot for sleeves and boots and sunset cooler again.
Um, I think the whole point of lounge wear is to. . .lounge. Which is exactly what I want when I'm at home. If I need to go out for some reason I simply change my clothes. I mean, how long does it take to put on jeans, shirt, boots and a coat?
Also, I repurpose my clothes. I wear them for work or to go out until they are too stretched and/or faded for that, then I use them for lounging and sleeping and when they are too worn even for that I cut them up and use them for cleaning cloths 😉.

Harlara has some great styles - sadly the leggings only size to 14 UK which is a 10-12 US! Come on - that is not size 'inclusive' in leggings I always have to size up. Thanks for the great tips! x

Well, I did get tired of sitting around in my pj's. So I got some pleasantly inexpensive day dresses that could be worn over leggings or pants. For winter spring fall added a cashmere hoodie. For summer a light cotton cardigan. I don't wear shoes in the house. I no longer frighten the delivery person.😅

Leggings, jeans, leather trousers, all the casual fitted bottoms that can be tucked in. I do wear uggs, not that often though, but I do.

I would much rather wear a comfy, warm sweater dress at home than any trousers. Trousers have tight waistbands, at least if they’re going to stay up on hipless me, and they ride up when I sit or lie down. Even knit skirts are great for winter. I just wear knee-high wool or cashmere socks with my dresses or skirts to keep my legs warm.
