If Olympus Mons is in the proper place, it should be to the west of the actual home base. Because it's due North/Northwest of Arsia Mons, which you found in a previous video.
Sometimes, it is easier just to build one medium panel for the crusher... you normally don't need to crush rock in the night... saves you fidling with the output numbers...
this is why you should pay closer attention to the power, just bumping up to max out, it makes no sense. Just set it to half of what is coming in, 12 hours daylight, 12 hours night, you can only use half. you use more than half your gonna have a problem. Having 34% of 900 going into the rover would have filled that thing so quick, which is nice, but then you run out of power. When you make your own parts in the big crusher, you are limited in qty, i dont understand why, but you are, however, if you select a building you want in the big crusher, it will make all the bits you need for it. then you have the bits without having to work out what you need. still the better way to get things to build with is to demolish old bases imo. but each to their own. When you walk upto a door and it doesnt just open, its because its trying to lvl the pressure between where you are and where you want to go, if there isnt enough O2 in the base to move around, it will take a while. just give it time. or just do it manually. Remember about 15 vids ago when you got the tech "fast charging". Well that means in the hanger you get faster charging.
Great episode packed with late game stuff. Looked really good fun with the jet pack but I couldn’t work out how you know how much fuel you have left. Can you only fly in third person? Think you said you couldn’t change, but if you start in first person maybe you see directions, fuel etc?
Jetpack is much faster than the rover lol. also the fuel is on the back side. i don't even use the rover for anything other than getting rocks. give it a chance and you will use the jetpacks a lot more. also. go in to your windows settings and turn off the SHIFT hotkeys.
This just in: keep using the tablets that say all blueprints unlocked. use them again and again and again. eventually they will give you something. one steam poster said it took like 50 uses but it finally gave him the large dome. Multiple replies reported the same thing. nThis is just speculation but it might help to only have one tablet in your inventory when you do this if that's possible. I haven't watched this vid yet so you may already have this info.
Can’t wait to hear if the distance starts going down after the half way point - about 110,000km I think. How cool would it be if you could actually circumnavigate the planet in this game.
I have noticed every time you save the game, you make a new save, whereas I always overwrite my current save. If I die or have an issue, I can reload that one save. I thought a long list of saves would clog up my game but now I am not sure. Any advice anyone?
I do same as you, multiple saves = more disk space used so I only have one save unless I start over on a harder difficulty or something. RUclipsrs make multiple saves so they can go back and rerecord something from that time in the game if needed.
hello ! if you press right-click on what you want to construct it will show the material needed on the screen.
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
@15:00 selecting the structure from the crusher will print the items needed to build that specific structure if there are sufficient ores

Use the big crusher to print containers to drop outside the base as extra storage
I believe the 2 bars in either wing of the jet pack are the fuel levels i noticed them dropping as you were constantly thrusting
Jet pack is pretty cool . Like it.

Killed by sticky keys. Not what you want on your tombstone 😅
You should have the tombstone surrounded by Windows®😁

There is a fuel gauge light on the back of the jetpack where it angles down beside your backpack.

Speaking a month later, I cannot vouch for the constancy until they confirm any updates to the game regarding this.
today i went another 40k m from my home base. I am now 100,000 m from my base and still going

Great for Mining
You have to fill co2 at o2 scrubber
Is there a height meter in first person? If not they need one.
The big crusher only lets you make 12 at a time
I know how weird is that the the “big” rock crusher can’t make as big quantities as the tiny 3D printer in your base?
You can make a CO2 container in your 3D printer
Took to long to get to the jet packs.
the stuff is unlocked.
you just dont have the mats?
Sometimes even when you do yo need to exit and reload once when you just get/craft something for the first time that has access to other things.
