Happy Fathers Day to the crew. You guys are inspiring not only from a business perspective, but in a family and friends perspective as well. All love !
MATRP! Hahaha I remember when he first started and was camera shy. He's definitely relaxed now. The banter and goofing around is what makes these videos gold. Cardboard gold aside, without the team, it would be pretty boring. Love watching you guys!
The sheer amount of Amazing valuable cardboard boxes is insane. This haul is definitely going to get you all a very hefty sum of cash. This was such a great video. Cheers to you all
Just saw this video yesterday and caught your live auction this morning and won one of the last fire red boxes you had thank you for helping me with my collection
20:49 Until a month or two ago, GameStop stores were instructed to send any retro item they took in to corporate (by moving it to defective post trade) for it to be sold on the website. Corporate reversed this policy just recently & retro is supposed to be sold locally in store now. Your Batman & Robin a few minutes before also had a GameStop return to warehouse sticker on it. How those cases survived a trip to Texas then back to Michigan & not get destroyed I have no clue, LoL.
The problem is you don't show condition enough when you sell. I bought over $1500 of boxes from you guys and they had creases, one had a two inch very visible laceration, one had a thick wrinkle all down one side, etc. They definitely were NOT mint, but were labeled as such. I'd love to buy some of these IF you actually showed or rated the condition appropriately.... but It's not worth it unless you do.
@HYRULEHISTORIA I'm not really defending them. I'm just pointing out that if the condition really matters a lot to the buyer, then WhatNot is probably the last place I would go. Condition grading isn't really an exact science. It's very situational to the person describing it. What you describe as "Minty" may not be necessarily Minty to another person and vice versa. Plus, WhatNot auctions are like 60 seconds each, right? How is the seller supposed to fully describe and convey the exact condition of each item in such a small window of time. And on the opposite end, how is the buyer suspose to fully understand what the heck their buying through a phone screen during a fast-paced live stream that I'm guessing isn't even streaming in a high enough resolution to catch every small detail or issue. At least with eBay, you're usually provided with a decent amount of photos and a detailed description with any notable issues being shown or described. I'd also assume eBay has a far greater money back gaurtnee policy than WhatNot as well. If I was going to spend $1500, I'd feel more comfortable going to eBay for that.
@@MrJohnSmalley I do agree with you to an extent. However while not everybody's idea of mint or perfect condition is the same. In the case of what the OP mentioned visible damage is visible damage, and 60secs is plenty sufficient time to mention that it's present
@Valverde713 fair enough. I just wanted to point out how buying on WhatNot versus eBay is far more risky due to the lack of description or photos. Even though WhatNot has a moneyback guarantee, I believe they can only enforce it if there is a description or photos to compare it against to what you received. But maybe I'm wrong. Either way, eBay is an established platform with many decades of happy customers. I would be very cautious buying things on WhatNot and bid accordingly due to that.
Nice to see your simply safe alarm, i could bypass that so easily, you need a proffessionally installes alarm not that rubbish especially with the value in your property lol
This is awesome. My mom threw out a bunch of boxes of my games when I was younger. Ocarina of Time Collector's Edition, NES, GB, GBC, SNES, N64 boxes, too.
Such an AMAZING pickup! Some people are going to be very happy when they complete their games with these. Gotta say those Pokémon GBA boxes are breathtaking!
28:26 Tecmo Super Bowl 2 was a VERY LIMITED retail release, less than 50k copies made between SNES & Genesis. Hence its value. It introduced the expanded playbooks, audibles, multiple defensive formations, defensive substitutions, & 2-pt conversions that would be seen by the masses in Tecmo Super Bowl 3.

That pokemon gameboy color silver and good…. Was one of my earliest and favorite Gameboy colors ever and it was stolen and we know who stole it and their mom lied and said she got it for them when everyone knew she didnt
Honestly I’d consider reaching out to Double Jump Video Games / Siccooper as he’s going for a CIB full SNES set. I know you’ll do well either way guys well done!!
Bro i need every single one of those oem gameboy pokemon boxes and i know how much it will all cost. 5000 is a lot of money for boxes w/ manuals but that shit is absolutely worth the pennys and dimes for it. Not even whatnot will stop me from buying these boxes right off the bat when i will by next year be hunting them asap

Al Pal, I noticed your NCCAA Track and Field Championship shirt! I’m a track coach and I’ve coached in the NCCAA for several years! Did you compete in the NCCAA or someone you know? Just curious if you did track and where you went to college?
What’s the best way to contact you to buy things? I’m really interested in the boxes for Atari because I can’t find any near me! I would be interested in buying them all!
How much for a nice Perfect Dark N64 box/inserts/manual? My favorite game of all time, and I've got an old box/inserts, would like a good quality piece

What's disappointing is you're handling all that stuff like you don't give a 💩 so darn rough
What an insane haul of stuff! How cool is that.

Matt's segue to the next day with the shirt choice cliffhanger, with the delivery on "Kirby, It's Kirby" was golden!

Great score you guys, and Happy Father’s Day to you all! Thanks for all you guys do for the community!🤟🏻😁
When i first saw all those brand new Gameboy boxes, i though they were all knockoffs. What a crazy video!
the sheer amount of stuff you have to go through and sell is honestly mind-blowing for just a few people to handle.
40 minutes of CATRP goodness 🎉
And one glorious Zbatt 😮
Loved this video, one of the best i have seen... felt like i was going through the boxes with you guys
I want one of those emerald boxes desperately. I know I’m not even close to alone but that is my favorite game 1, of my childhood, and 2, of all time.
Great grab Chase! Happy Father's Day guys!
im in jealous awe.. That is an amazing collection!!

I think couch potato is the best.
Bro, that panic and the inserts..... holy!!! that taito poster is so so rare
Even empty I'd keep a few of these as shelf trophies, an awesome find by any standard!
About time we make the change to MATRP.
Love the fact you guys are killing it and having so much fun doing it.
Matt's box was the best and the channel should be called MATRP.

That's what eBay is for. Live selling in an auction format is not the time or place.
If they were labeled as being mint then it most definitely IS the place. Stop simping for crappy selling practices t(-_-t)

The instrument you used to open the pack is a dental spatula, for mixing dental materials😊
NOW y'all have a reason to game convention. Complete all the boxes.

Your hand went right past Super Mario World. The most ridiculously expensive boxed game you wouldn't even think would be so.
Chase knew right away as soon as he saw it . Sky guy and the team are fairly new to this and still learning lol
SicCooper owner of Double Jump is 94 SNES boxes from the complete set. He may do a bulk buy. Or trade some inventory from his store.
love the MICHIGAN jacket - GO BLUE!! - JCVD
