He found love through children. I imagine now he actually just doesn’t care about finding a partner and just wants to give these kids the best chance at life he can. Then, he meets a cafe barista at the regular coffee shop he buys his boss coffee, and the barista develops a crush, and Hallmark shenanigans happen before a happily ever after
Now that you mention it, there are exactly 7 filled slots in that household now that James has turned off adoption and having babies for everyone in his bigwallet save. Meaning, the 8th slot could still be for the future spouse 😂
The household is now called 2nd chance at love because Asher has decided to go the foster route and give all the children he adopts a 2nd chance at a loving family

@@kikoibuilds if I remember correctly all the households in the world he took off the gallery to fill the world since sims mechanics didn't naturally do that (now it has natural story progression so it will)
So it's just a random gallery guy he downloaded already named 2nd chance at love, who then decided, with sims story progression, he would only adopt children.
Never get in a relationship, never marry, never move out, never get pets.
Just... kids

@@LoriHorta I like to think that Hazel came back to the house, saw that the dad got rid of the arcade she put in, and then forcibly put it back in haha. Sure it might not be timeline accurate, but Hazel is a bit of a time anomaly being alive while Reginald was still a baby lol

Having 3 double beds and 2 twin beds is genius because then when all the kids age up there will still be enough places for them all to sleep. And the tent in babies room means when they are a toddler they’ll have a place to sleep

You can make the stairs work without even changing the house. You fold it back on its self and adjust the height. Also you could have done a share bathroom in between the two big bedrooms, and done a common area for the toilet and shower and done a separate sink for each room in the room as a little bump. And why didn’t you do a shared room for the kids. You can do 5 bedroom for the whole household. The kids would have bunks a desk and a bathroom. Since the rooms upstairs are such a weird shape you can but the toddler in there and they can share the toys so they can have more toys. The baby can go in the master in a cutout so it’s in the same room but not really. The teen can have a desk and computer or skill building things with their own bathroom. And you can save on the Windows those are really expensive. Plus you have extra money for bills or making a room when the baby grows up.

I reported as many of them as I saw, so it might not be on your post anymore. Sorry that I didn’t make sense lol, hopefully I explained well enough to not sound nuts.

I'm just now getting into the Sims 4 and it boggles my mind how I left three Sims in a house with less than $4,000 and came back and had seven Sims because they all adopted a child and one of them adopted too so then I was left with like a $200 budget for seven Sims in a $60000 home

My Sims all have their own rooms, complete with desks and laptops - they all use one laptop in their parent's study and do their homework at the dining room table. 🙃
the same thing happened to me today as i went to check on another family and there were 7 people living in the one bedroom house you made in Mt. Komorebi how they can keep having kids when there is no beds for them

In one of my games, one of the hot gays in Brindleton Bay died, the one left behind adopted sooo many dogs. I don’t know why, but it made me laugh so hard. Also, it’s always a treat to see who Judith Ward ends up with, my favorite must be when I saw Judith Lothario walking around 😂 yes, I have MCCC as well.

Every time he said 7 kids, I kept counting and was confused- the ending made so much sense 😂

I'm sorry but no (he says 2mo later). The Sims 4 are already filled with ugly houses, and I think what James did to it made it uglier. It would have made more sense to give each sim their own room if they were older and Asher still want them to live with him. It's big without much detail, which did on purpose so not to waste time on something he would never play. Is this house on the gallery yet? I would love to try to make this house more desirable (from anyone), with the same budget. Idk why I felt the need to air my grievances but I did 🙃 sorry
Once the baby grows up the nursery can become part of the master bedroom so it’ll be less awkward 😂

That has been the frustrating part of neighborhood stories that all these sims have toddlers and kids and no stuff or spaces for them. I have to keep going and renovating.

Same, my parents had 4 of us, plus there was usually an extra cousin or friend or two over as well, we only had a 3 seater couch and 2 armchairs, being the youngest I was usually on floor 😂 I'm still more comfortable sitting on the floor most days too!
i like to imagine Asher as a foster parent instead. And then they just kept giving him kids and he kept falling in love with them.

Personally, my anxiety was through the roof, as semaJ hadn't given the baby, and the two toddlers 'proper' beds to move up into lol, once they weren't toddlers and babies anymore, which meant that once they'd aged up, they would not have had beds to sleep in, and even though it's just Sims (and not real), my anxiety would not have settled until I'd sorted that (if this was my build) ... But then it turned out that one person that semaJ had accounted for wasn't even part of that household !!! So it's all good, as there were three doubled that two could share, so everybody would have had a bed (and yes, I am fully aware that I am weird)🤣😂😅🙄😒😵💫🥴😁😉

I have never thought of renovating the neighbourhoods... I'm going to consider that as I play more in Sims 4. If I do. On another note... You do know that it makes some *sense* for the toddlers to share right?
Either lots need to automatically add rooms and beds when sims have kids en masse or they can only have as many kids as they do beds.
It's so annoying when these kids show up in the world and have nowhere to go 🤦♀️
I think it would have been better to have some shared bedrooms, a smaller house and better quality items with a big living space and nice kitchen

So I spent all day yesterday playing Sims... the first time I've done that in years! I had to make "Asher", but he is living in this starter home. So far he's adopted 4 children, the last 2 are now toddlers and are twins (yep... adopted 2 on the same day and made them look as alike as I could). To make more space, Asher finished the basement, as you'd do to make extra bedrooms in a small house. It's crowded and busy... but so far, everyone's happy most of the time. I had such a good time! Thanks for the idea, James! 🥰

if I have a 6-8 sim house I hesitate to place a dining table for every sim as sims rarely ever sit at the dining table together. anyone else do this?
