@LuckyLeopard Just to say, Germans (stock) have very good shells that can one shot people easily if U can aim to weakspots.
Russian have good sloped armour (tho not at the start) and very good APHE shells that can also one shot.
Those coutries are noob friendly.
USA can be hard with some tanks.
Great Britian has the most un-noob friendly tanks, because they have Solid shot shells (no HE filler).
French have the worst guns for the tier, tho they have very sturdy armour.
Italians,.....just pizza time.
Reminder, I am only saying about the low BR, low Tier tanks.

In tier 4 and 5 its russian bias maybe brits at 6.7 BR
Dana Wahyu Ramadhan Not really at Tier 4, except for trolly armor the russians lack in many aspects compared to the other nations. I would say that Until High rank 4 with IS-6, the Russians are pretty balanced.

The LVT can float in water, btw.
I have gotten countless killstreaks with it by sneaking up behind people in the water, most of the hull is under water too so it's virtually impossible for your driver to be killed at a distance.

Ah, yes. Basically the LVT isn't a tank to start with but rather a fire support vehicle based from an amphibious vehicle. Makes me wonder tho if WT have the 75mm armed LVT.

WoT players see anything falling from the sky, artillery PTSD commences. Shhhh, it's ok little one. Those bs artillery players can't hurt you here. Instead, you can start screaming when you see bombs land next to ya
Early game, getting artillery'd is deadly. But late game you get a five second death when you see a sc1000 bomb bounce off your turret about to blow up.
If you hear a Bomb but it’s not loud, it’s probably a PE 8 with a 5.000KG bomb, best advice, RUN! As long as it isn’t too late!

Realistic battles is really the reason to play WT. Also dont take full ammo, you don´t need it, use binoculars and take your time, there is no need to rush

In that case, AB is for you.
How we do it is patience.
Using BINO, we spot for specific colours of the enemy tanks (Silver for Germans, and meatballs for Italians, etc), or even dust clouds, or exhaust smoke, gun barrel, and commanders cupola.
So for panter, it is the Beige colour, or the barrel, or even the shape.

My graphics quality is generally too poor to see much of that. Heck, I can often barely see them even _with_ markers over their heads. By the time I figure if I can actually hit them or not at those ranges, either I'm dead or they left. I tend to camp a lot if I'm trying to save money because I just die less to things I can't see even when pointed out for me.

When I first played, none of the commands were mapped to the keyboard (you had to do this yourself in the closed beta), and a helpful player on the other team walked me through setting everything up. The first enemy I saw I just sat there...the graphics were so impressive and just beautiful (compared to WoT at the time in particular) I just sat there watched him kill me, and laughed like a maniac at how amazing it all looked.
When i starter i went to arcad- i mean race battles with russian bt5 and with my speed idk how to do anything more just shoot so obviously with my speed i went to enemy base (i thought that was the objective) and tryed to kill all but got killed all times
@@nunomiguel555 Yea, WoT tactics don't always work in War Thunder. Using your speed here can give you an edge, but the BTs are VERY fragile. It might be better to try and use that speed to get into a position that gives you an advantage...maybe some nice cover where you can overlook a capture point. Then you can ambush fools as THEY try and cap. Rushing a cap is a viable tactic...but very often those rushers either die and fail or succeed and die. Especially in Arcade, where everyone can see you. Honestly, if you like light tanks, try Realistic...I have more fun playing it, and I think it's easier since people can't see you automatically, and they actually have to aim to hit you.
The best defense in War Thunder is shoot first and kill the enemy before he can kill you...preferably not even giving him a chance to shoot you at all. You don't have hit points to trade off and absorb hits. Also, watch the battle, and use your brain. If you can trick, anticipate or simply out-think the other guy...you will do well.

Watch some WT RUclipsrs like Phlydaily, BoeTimeGaming, Slickbee, and Napalmratte, just to name a few, it will help you get a better idea of how to play
Im pretty sure I saw that Napalmratte guy in a game i played earlier playing 4.0, but ofc i was uptiered to 4.7. He was in a Cobra King if I remember correctly.
Honestly, Spit_Flyer is the new Orange Doom imo, so I think he is the best to explain how the game works... Phly, Botime and Slick are all there for the lulz and do not really "teach" you how to play the game, Spit actually says what he thinks and why he makes the plays he does

In AB you can join in either a fighter, attacker or bomber in a quick time event.
You dont even have to put em in your lineup

Yeah, no armor is best armor. They could pen you, but if they do they cant hit more than 2 guys inside, or modules. I love the unexpected tankiness of it XD

If you're honestly questioning where the enemy came from and especially in arcade like this footage was then you most deff need better map awareness...the enemy literally lights up bright red when he is in your field of view, anddddd to top it all off his exact location is even spotted and telegraphed on the mini map to EVERY ally in the radio vicinity....its really not hard to see enemies in arcade....I just don't understand it either its like yall don't care about checking your surroundings and mini map or you just plain like dieing and spending lions to repair your tanks...I don't see how half of yall arent in silver lion debt by now the way you throw your vehicles out there non chalantly

i've gotten accustomed where once we get in dangerous range I pull away
That only happens with slower planes. The learning curve for jets forces you to manuver before your opponent can predict it. Otherwise the enemy jets can spray you down with ease. Low tier planes you have plenty of time to react in comparison.
It's really a game of chicken.

Lucky you should take less ammo with you because having less explosives in your tank is always nice and since you very rarely need more that 30 rounds you can leave some racks empty.
He ran out of ammunition in his LVT,thats full load
You can take how many you want of ap because there is no explosive filler but with for example t26 it's impossible to shot 200 times in a match so there it is good to take about 40

I am in the exactly same position, quit WoT for obvious reasons and now try to find my way in WT :) Flying mostly planes tho, not really enjoying Tank RB that much because of how fast you will get killed.
Yeah, play arcade for a bit, and when you get decent at the game mechanics and spotting tanks, you can go into RB. Planes are pretty fun at low tier, but mid-tier airplanes are kinda annoying (for me at least)
Just make sure never to get caught in the open without cover and always check around corners first unless you have a stabilizer
@@frostblght you can go on open grounds if you use binos to check the area first and angle your tank while cruising but it is still very risky
@@theusaf Very true. For the past year, I played arcade only, however recently I started playing tank RB a lot recently and it's awesome. It's also great because I can research both tanks and planes

I’ve played warthunder since I was 11. I’m 17 now. I can’t stop. It’s definitely addicting. The grind is just so good. Especially when you don’t have premium.

I've had WarThunder for years. When Ground Forces were still in closed beta the mechanics were a bit crap and the game was not good enough.
Now WoT has gone down the drain and WarThunder has caught up and improved further, the tables have turned.
The days of WoT are coming to an end, and WarThunder will take over many of the WoT playerbase

"I think that was an artillery strike" He says while getting strafed by a plane. It's really funny since I play this game on a daily basis and get bombed all the time. Daubeny a g is basically the gravity so if you are experiencing 10g then you are 10 time your weight and well when that happens you don't get blood to the brain and then you pass out

Anyone play World of Warships?, Left WoT 3 years ago for WoWS, never looked back. Tried my hand at Warthunder back when it was still beta, made it to 6.5 in the luftwaffe when WT was just airplanes, and that was about it.

Just like my lil bro, hes never played a war simulator in general so when i was trying to teach him the tools of warthunder like constantly checking surroundings, taking lower ammo counts, focusing objectives to win games, and using team tactics to overcome odds, he mostly just aim and shot whatever he happened to see lol

Btw, crew members reload spots like gunners and drivers. If you can’t hit him but his tank can’t move, wait for his crew to reload in the spot and shoot again
I recently stopped playing WoT and went to WT instead and warthunder is so much better it’s unreal. I’m so glad they don’t do premium ammo or anything because it felt like WoT was really becoming P2W
Technically in Top Tiers the unlockable ammo is P2W since it costs enough SL you literally cannot afford to miss with them....

My son was 13 when he wanted to play War Thunder. That was 2 years ago. I told him it’s not easy and don’t get upset if you find it hard at the beginning. His first game with reserve planes, he scored 16 kills. Now he is a far better player than “his old man” but that’s fine. We still team up. He scores more kills but I last longer in the game. So much fun.

For me warthunder is more of a tank simulator.. and wot is kind of a chess/paper scissors rock strategy game with some minor rpg elements in it (crew and skills)
How is WoT like chess?
It is more like a fast-paced tactical RNG shooter than a long, slow-paced strategy game where you think of every move. That RPG elements is hardly there, and WarThunder has basic crew skills too.

War Thunder Started out as only planes, Tanks didn't come out until 2015 and yet people consider it primarily a "tank" game. Sure Tanks have become a major part of WT, and im willing to admit they are more popular then planes, but the core of War Thunder will always be a Flight Engine. Sorry if i rambled, but War Thunder being just a "tank simulator" always rubs me the wrong way.

You know what's weird? The old WT ads were basically exploiting the frustrating things, like the dispersion reticle and RNG, from WoT as their marketing campaign. Now they don't need to do that because their players are the ones that use that strategy XD
I think I saw somewhere that all the ads were community made and Gaijin actually have never spent a penny on marketing other than the gamescom trailers and the youtube channel

i think players do that to earn free golden eagles (sort of like invite a friend to earn ge thing) and the ad directs the new player to the player's refer page.
That G thing is gravitational force that you are putting on the pilot and the aircraft. If you will hold to many G's to much time, your pilot will pass out for a second and you will loose control over the aircraft for few seconds. The same effect exist in real life.
Just stick to war thunder this is quality content

Coming from WOT I started to struggle a lot with this one, but finaly it's a very fun game.
Basically what machine guns are for is to shoot down airplanes. U can also kill very lightly armored tanks or trucks.

My experience with WT in the 20 something hours I played it. Spawn in a tank move about 30m from spawn, get sniped from the other end of the map by someone who I couldn't even see. Spawn in new tank move about 3m get spawn killed from same guy who is still in his spawn and repeat. I gave up on WT pretty quickly because it seemed to me that 90% of the people who play it are on ultra low settings and can see you from anywhere and you can't see them, so I just gave up.
Almost no one plays on ultra low. I guess it comes to down to experience spotting a guy in the bushes.

There is no war. I'm war thunder player and I've come from wot. The next step of wot is always war thunder. Even wot players know that war thunder is superior, but its not a quick fun game. Has a lot of depth.
There is no need for a war we all know WT is better in every way. In physics, tank selection, favoring skill over your credit card (aka WoT), being able to play tanks planes and boats all in one game, shell selection and access, etc. Do I need to say anymore?

I like both games, in WoT you can’t really get sniped by someone you can’t see unless your view range is trash, in WT you definitely can.
But, war thunder has a nice atmosphere in which it actually feels much more triumphant to take down a tank, because sometimes it takes lots of shots and you have to aim for different parts of the enemy tanks each time. Plus lots of times the tank becomes completely incapacitated before you actually destroy it, so you know you’ve already won which is cool, while in WoT the enemy tank is almost always at full fighting capacity even with 1 hp. Not only that but knowledge of the game is even more effective in WT because if you know where enemy crew members and ammo racks are and they don’t then you are sure to win. Using the machine gun to try and blind the enemy or sometimes even kill it is fun as hell too.
e.g. the ASU-57 is ridiculously fun in RB because you can just slap some bushes on it and be the sneekiest tank ever.

In WoT you can get sniped by someone you CAN'T see. In WT, you can get sniped by someone you DON'T see. It really is a big difference. In WoT, invisible tanks will kill you. In WT, everything is rendered...there are no invisible tanks. It feels like a victory to win in WT because you are winning or losing by your own actions and abilities...instead of RNG. Both games have their place...WoT for faced-paced, dumb fun and WT for immersive, realistic-ish strategy/tactical fun.

some tips from a veteran:
change the Binoculars to Q
change range find to E
change fire secondary weapons (this is a second cannon the the machine guns) to middle mouse click
assign a key to switch to secondary gun view
assign key to switch back to primary/default gun view
try to not to max out ammo(google specific amounts that other people use)
when tank with significant armor are unlocked learn to angle (this will increase effective thickness)
when choosing which ammo to take into battle try to choose the highest penetrating and highest TNT filler amount
try not to rush points as if you aren’t in a tank with a stabilized gun it is hard to hit targets as you pull into the point
you can train your crews to get better load times, accuracy etc. you can do this by clicking on a tank then choosing crew in the popup.
when playing in realistic battles bushes can be a great decorator that can hide your tank. these are found in the decorator tab in the customization menu
you will faces tank plus or minus 1.0 BR. if you highest br tank is 2.3 then you can face up to 3.3 and as low as 1.3
in realist tank battles you can also bring planes to use when to bomb other tanks
some tank can float like the LVT or PT-76 but the ka-mi can not because it does not have its floats modeled in game.
some cover is destructible and there for can be shot through. so try to learn what cover is destructible and what is not
shells with a lot of pen often are APCR or HVAP rounds. these rounds do not do much damage because they do not creat a lot of spalling
