Thank you SOOO MUCH! I have been having troubles with the foot pressure which leaves me nasty marks on the fabric... This video was just what I needed!
Your my go to guy for this machine. Thank you so much for your videos they have saved me a fortune. If possible could you please do a video for the a5e needle bar change as the one I bought has the wrong needle bar in it and the people I purchased from are absolutely no help at all. 😀
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines I have to force a needle head into it with pliers and will only take the very skinny ones. ita a size 16. Hope that helps x
@@twisteddolldesigns6190 they take a DBx1 needle that has a 1.6mm top. Firstly I would suggest cleaning/clearing the needle hole using an old DBx1 needle. Loosen needle screw enough so you can fully insert the needle, maximum needle insertion can be checked through the hole in the side of your needle bar, then using a pair of long nose pliers gripping the needle repetitively insert and remove the needle, essential clearing or reaming the needle passage way, hopefully if all goes well, this will slowly become easier as it clears. Secondly always use a top quality needle like Groz Beckert, Schmetz (now Groz Beckert), or organ, cheaper needles are not manufactured to the best standards and may cause issues because of this. On a side note, if you want to use heavier threads, order system 71x1 needles, these go to a #160 size, and fit perfectly to your machine. Good luck.
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines thank you so much for the ideas, I've done all that you have recommended and i only use the brands organ and the schmetz needles aswell, still have to use the pliers to get the needle in, the size of the actual hole for the needle to go into is extremely small?? I'm so confused with it lol.
@@twisteddolldesigns6190, it sounds like the needle bar hole has an irregularity inside, very unusual, but of course it is possible, I would say it is around the area where the needle clamp screw goes in, the hole is very small, only 1.6mm, I believe it will free up over time.
Thank yo so much for your videos, I have had my Jack F4 for a year now and there isn't anything in English out with this information. I love my machine but have questions...I think my pressure foot tension is to high as when i sew on quilting cotton it leaves dog feed marks on the fabric. Thank you thank you thank you!! Would love to see the Jack walking foot in action too!!
Thank you for the video and it was very helpful and I'd like to know where I could get fixed when I needed. I find it's very hard to find supplies or to get services and even the person who sold it to me wouldn't want to see me again 🙃 😕
Hi great video, could I ask how do you adjust the pressure on the pressure foot on a jack H2?. My one keeps leaving marks on the faux leather. Thanks so much
You will need to determine what pressure you need based on the fabric you are sewing. Different fabrics and different thickness will all require different pressure so you will be adjusting to suit as you go.
Thank you so much for your videos I am also using jack f4 machine but the problem is when i stitch i cannot stop the swing ... so i need to off the machine to stop stitching can you plz fix the problem
There are only 2 things i dont like about the Jack machine. This foot adjuster feature is plastic and so is the manual foot lifter. Since the rest of the machine is so robust, I'm puzzled why they choose plastic.

No problem, happy to have been of help :)
Thankyou sir, you help me understand my machine better. Very grateful to you.
You are most welcome
again another great video. I've bought a Jack A8 and I'll receive it over 2 weeks. I think it have the same pressure system. thanks for great info.
Thanks for watching.

Hi, you are most welcome.
What makes you think the A5E needle bar is incorrect?

You need to reduce pressure on the presser bar and some machines you can also buy rubber feed dogs I believe so that could help.

Where are you located please? We are in Australia so if you are in another country then there is not much we can do for you with physical help sorry.
why does it have a plastic foot pressure adjustment screw/knob? why not like aluminum or a steel?
Sorry Chris but I can't answer that, I don't know.
Another fantastic video, is there any chance you could do one explaining how to fix the timing please 😀 🙏
My spring fell in !!
Remove the front cover and retrieve the spring. Re-install then good to go.
I have a vevor machine, this piece is identical to mine, it completely broke off, can I glue it back on
Unfortunately not but you can buy these from any good industrial sewing machine supplier as they are always breaking when you bump them.

Hi Jenny! There will be a H2 presser foot pressure adjustment video coming out in the next few weeks.
@@ozcommercialsewingmachines brilliant thanks so much , I will keep an eye for it .
Same question ! Thank you for your help !
How do I know what pressure for each fabric.there are no numbers on my new screw and nut I replaced.
You would need to experiment with different pressures as different thicknesses of fabric will have different pressure requirements.
Mine doesn’t have any numbers on so, what is the height from base if machine to top of the screw.
You will need to determine what pressure you need based on the fabric you are sewing. Different fabrics and different thickness will all require different pressure so you will be adjusting to suit as you go.
Where can I order this part? Mines broke off and its stuck inside, after watching this video, I can fix it myself. Thanks
You will need to contact your closest JACK dealer, the broken part should wind out easily.
Thank you so much for your videos
I am also using jack f4 machine but the problem is when i stitch i cannot stop the swing ... so i need to off the machine to stop stitching
can you plz fix the problem
It sounds like you may need a visit to your local technician to do some fault finding.
Thank you so so much❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Thanks so much
No problem
Hello, can you tell us how to fix bottom tension problem
You should set bobbin tension first then match it with the top tension.
My jackf4 is not sewing straight what should I do
You may have to adjust your feed dogs as they are what feeds the fabric. You may need to take your machine for service.

jack machine tension presser foot adjuster has been broken. Can you solve this problem for me pls
Thank you in advance.
These pressure regulator screws are available as a spare part from your local JACK supplier.

These plastic parts are featured on most industrial machines these days.
With the presser foot you adjust the pressure, there is no tension on the presser foot.
