All the games are fascinating! I especially enjoyed Maniac and Ponty Pants the climbing game because they both feature physics-based mechanics, which are my favorite.
@@andrewsolesbury115 Not sure, but from his devlog, it seems like Ponty started with Godot, but there were difficulties in implementing the mechanics. So, he switched to Unity, where he found all the necessary components to piece together and build his game.
@@andrewsolesbury115 No problem! :) I know Ponty's first game was made with Unreal, but it's really exciting to see how he has utilized both Unity and Unreal engines to craft amazing experiences for players.
Yup those were 2 of my favorites! A few months ago I finally got to play Desperados 3, really awesome modern game that perfectly captures the awesome gameplay of those games.
It's a guesstimate based on well known multipliers. It's not 100% accurate, some games have a review to sales multiplier or 20x, others have 100x. But in general about 40-50x is pretty accurate. unitycodemonkey.com/video.php?v=YSXk8ymbEPU
7. Bulwark very impressive game from a solo developer. I suppose the creator is a genius. How many years took to develop a such game.... 4. God sworn - from dev team as the same as 1.
@@CodeMonkeyUnity for me you also a genius dev to develop the such unique tycoons. I was android native indie dev in puzzles, but I lost all my rating positions and lost all US users since 2019 when Google changed search algorithms and no more chances in Play Store for indies without funds.
Not sure what you mean, are you talking about code? There's a difference between playing games for fun or making games, I don't like frustration in my fun-time. And in code I don't really feel frustration, when I get an error that's just a normal part of the process so I very rarely get frustrated when writing code.
@@CodeMonkeyUnity Was joking mostly about some of the difficulties surrounding game development in general. I definitely get what you're saying though, I don't much care for games that frustrate me either.

Code Monkey, This is fantastic! I subscribed right away!
You totally missed out on New Cycle, an amazing looking Unity game :)
Oh yeah it came out in January while I was busy with my C# course so didn't make one of these videos. It does look awesome!
1:59 how can you know how many copies were sold based on the reviews, can you explain please?

Is there a way to directly write code in c++ in unity
Not directly but you can use C++ to build a .DLL and use that in Unity
@@CodeMonkeyUnity please make a tutorial I just want to play with DLL 😀
Thanks!
Nice ❤

The previous game, Falconeer, came out in 2020, so about 3 years of development for this one

How about no rest for the wicked from moon studio that also made with unity. XD
Yup it does look very interesting although reviews are a bit rough. It came out this month so I might include it in next months list.
Hello I'm thinking of extracting unity game android version but I didn't find it.
One day, my game will make it on this list. I can promise you that 😄
See you soon
Go for it!
@@CodeMonkeyUnity already on it 😄
Do you randomly pick these games?
or do people submit them to you, and you just select the best ones?
I manually go through the Steam new releases list every month and pick 10 that I personally think are interesting.
Hi
Will Unity 6 change the visual of unity games in Future?
The new rendering features look awesome so hopefully improved visuals across the board
"I don't enjoy feeling frustrated." .... dude, aren't you in the wrong business?
