+KrypticKidd if I was offered a chevelle or a lambo i'd take the lambo without hesitation but that's just because I would sell it and buy a chevelle and still have a lot of money left :)
My first car was a 70'Chevelle. Bought it from my grandfather when I was fifteen years old I still love and miss that car! I'm now fifty and would love to have another one.
The Motor was cold and had not been run in two or three days while being transported,Big Block Engines' need time to warm up, It has had a tune up since then, runs' good now,After three years' I am surprised that I am still receiving comments' about it,Thanks' for watching, Cheers'.
Yes I guess it was like that and it came in a Big Unwrapped box but I new what was inside so no surprise for me.Thanks' for watching and your comments', I did not mean to show it arriving twice, I messed up when editing,
In 1998 I bought a 1970 GTO. My friend bought a 1969 Chevelle ss 396. It was a fun summer. We both ended up selling the cars. I took a big loss. Oh well I learned my lesson. Hope one day to own another one
That is one sweet ride my friend...............Congrats on scoring it and I already know your going to have a blast with it. Thanks for posting what must have been a very exciting day for you. ENJOY THE RIDE!
Hi Mark,Car's is running great, It now has MSD Ignition, a New Gas Tank, Fuel Filter, Fuel Lines', E- 3 Plugs', New Plug Wires', ( No more Stalling ) New Brakes', The car was sitting a while and needed to be checked and tuned up, It drives' real good, handles' well , and stops on a Dime, It gets' a lot of attention at car shows', people like to have pictures' taken standing next to it,Cheers' and thanks' for watching ,
Hi Bob. I live in a City with many Traffic Lights'. an Automatic is better and much easier on your left leg in Heavy Stop and Go City Traffic, Why a 4 Speed?, everybody craves' a Stick Shift that costs' thousands' more for the same car Maybe they are more fun to drive but to me are not worth all the Extra money you have to Dig Down for and shell out to play race Car driver, Being a Heavy Truck Driver for over 40 years' I've Shifted Gears' enough. What happened to your 72 ?, did it Blow up or did you sell it?, Have you watched Part 2 ? Thank's for your comment and watching. Cheer's..
Yes I sold it. I remember one time at a concert. My leg was shaking so hard I had to sit a wait for the traffic. Nothing wrong with a tight auto. Still a beauty.
It's nice to see a retired guy get a finished classic car. Many years of work to retire. Good job you two. I hope to be just like you and the wife someday. :-)
+Brian Lawton how much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking? I was looking into getting a 69 in great condition just trying to get an idea of how much OT I'm going to have to work and for how long in order to do so
The 69 is a great looking car, the 70 seems' to be the one that is most wanted and holds' its' value better,The cost can be high depending on the engine and transmission, look for a deal that you can manage.
What a dream....to have your ride delivered to you like that, also i think i caught a glimpse of a Marauder is some ones driveway when the guy is putting down the cones....anyway...that is a perfect Chevelle..color scheme and wheels,i would not change a thing!
Brian you such a lucky man to own that. Looks awesome. Just thinking if I had that sweet ride across here in the UK, man I'd untouchable. Keep it well. Tryna save up and buy one of those old school classics.
It would've been so funny after all that preparation and road cones for this dude to back out in a Yugo or an AMC Pacer. 😂 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.😄
Awesome! Must have been a good feeling to get that delivery! One thing about those carburetor cars, you got to give 'em a bit of warm up time, but it's worth it!
It was cold and the car had been in transit for days', Thanks' for watching,I am surprised I'm still getting comment's sent two and a half year's later,Cheers' and have a good day.
When I am able to go by my 1st 1970 Chevelle SS it'll definitely be a 4speed car that's for sure idc how long it'll take to find one Blue & White or Red & Black
I bought a '70 396 in a little rough condition but still running good for $2200 back in '89, paid to get a fender and back bumper replaced, also to get a couple of rusty spots fixed and drove it with a coat of black primer for almost 2 years, got the transmission and motor rebuilt, had the black interior fixed nicely, repaired front end... but not even 3 weeks after paying for a blue paintjob (with the racing stripes) it got stolen, I felt like killing something...
Lucky guy, outstanding car. I'm watching and thinking, this looks like Florida to me. Then I saw the sign. Crime watch neighborhood St Petersburg. I live in Seminole, near Bay Pines V A hospital. I will keep an eye for this vehicle. If I see you I will say hello, what a beautiful machine u have there.
Did you ever think about giving the driver a tip? I had my '66 Chevelle SS 396 transported in an enclosed trailer from Roanoke, VA. to South Central Michigan for 800.00. Tipped the dude 100.00 and bought him dinner for delivering my high end car in impeccable condition...a small price to pay for a job well done.
@@tomjones3488 53,000.00. But the car had a frame off restoration, and the motor was totally gone thru. You should be able to get a great looking '66-'67 SS (my two favorite years) for the low to mid 40's. Try to avoid dealers if possible, but that can be a challenge when looking to buy a classic auto. Good luck in finding one!
Lambo……? “ Forget about it”. Nothing like a good ol fashioned USA muscle car . This Chevelle is the cream of the crop! Congrats Bro! Enjoy for a long long time
That is a beautiful car. Sounds good, maybe a little altitude adjustment on the carb and you are good to go. Looks like you found a winner of a car. Congratulations!
I remember back High school my buddy had a 69 SS396 while I drove a Chevette. I still need counseling
🤣
dream car id take this over a lambo in a heartbeat.
It's a cool car but I wouldn't lol
+KrypticKidd Fuck yes! Amazing 2 ton+ of engineered steel, you gotta love this baby!
+KrypticKidd Lambos' are costly, Chevys' are easy to fix , parts easy to find,
So would I
+KrypticKidd if I was offered a chevelle or a lambo i'd take the lambo without hesitation
but that's just because I would sell it and buy a chevelle and still have a lot of money left :)
My dream car. There's not way I'd be able to contain myself waiting for it to unload. Absolutely beautiful car

You probably get happy when your knob is shifted.
+senorkaboom YEP,
Such a douche bag. But your mom is ok.
Like a kid on Christmas. I wouldn't have been able to sleep the night before or concentrate on anything else that day lol
Yes I guess it was like that and it came in a Big Unwrapped box but I new what was inside so no surprise for me.Thanks' for watching and your comments', I did not mean to show it arriving twice, I messed up when editing,
no doubt...just like "Ralphie" on the movie the ""Christmas Story"" wanting the Red Ryder bb gun....lol
@@brianlawton6153 do you still have it?

To that driver, it's just a job. And applause to the videographer to appreciating the driver for his work.
1:06 That has to be the slowest walk I've ever experienced. Took him 5 minutes to walk 10 meters for fuck sake.
***** And yes, put the slow walk in twice morons, Because I wanted to watch it 2 times in a row.
Que hermosa esa Chiva, aunque me quedo con la Coupe Chevy serie 2 de 1971🇦🇷
