The low altitude economy will very quickly eliminate human “drone drivers.” If you can have robo-taxis, you certainly can have robo-heavy-drones. Most of logistics will be automated, but not first in the US. Logistics is a complicated sequence of pretty repetitive steps. But it needs the flexibility of having vision and understanding the variability we humans handles so easily. Since it's many steps to get the entire thing automated, it's unlikely that it will happen first in the West. It won't get the full economic boost until all of it is automated. This is actually infrastructure, and we know how difficult those things are to build for the US. Their government isn't up to handling things that needs planning. unless car materials are so light like feather and so strong like metal, there won't be a combinational car/drone....... it is either a drone or a car.
If they can easily control over 10,000 drones in night sky display, they will be able to automatically manage the safety of low-altitude drones (through 5G communications and auto-piloting APPs). The real danger is potential mechanical problems that may bring a drone down from the sky.
It is wasteful to develop new rules and standards by reinventing the wheel. China will develop new rules and standards based on relevant global fields with additional ideas.
It's funny that the West goes on and on about "invention" (0-1 innovation) as something China cannot do. The West refuses to acknowledge Chinese innovation, especially incremental 1-N innovation that raises utility and reduces cost. People think of drones in terms of transportation or deliveries but there is a growing need for drones to do cleaning and inspection for high rise buildings. Instead of humans in highly dangerous jobs using rope access or gondolas to go up and down a high rise building, drones can do this with high resolution cameras for inspection or even do spray cleaning of the windows.
*What are your crypto convictions?" This question alone really has provided a healthy foundation to build off of. I've been in crypto for almost 4 years...and I have found so much value in your content. Thank You!*
agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience
Once China has that, it will be a solutions to the never ending traffic woes in SE Asian capitals and cities. But I think just China itself, this will take a couple of years to develop.
I'd be interested to know how traffic in the skies could be regulated, and for safety for those on the ground and in buildings. There would be need for some very sophisticated collision avoidance, and probably real-time communication between each of the crafts. There would need to be some way to prevent usage for nefarious purposes. My thought is that this could be prioritized for emergency vehicles first. In any case, if this becomes a reality for China then they are front-line for any further innovation. Very exciting indeed.
I assume traffic "layers", like how some roadways segregate commuters, bicycles, trams, and/or heavy trucks from ordinary traffic. But that's the entire point of 0-1innovation building the new industry from the ground up.
China has the technology to sync and coordinate 10,000 small drones for night sky show already. Military has drones flying as Wingman for the J20 and J35. So, the 1st step has been taken and planned for. Traffic control and safety for low altitude heavy drones is just a matter of time and experience. Btw, when 6G is fully implemented, it will make everything a reality
The Chinese government is investing in heavy drone industry because its another goal is to transport goods between its space station/ battery station to the moon base construction in future.
Besides cargo delivery with vertical landings bypassing airports, we should expect regional airports become hubs fed by many vertical landing small passenger airlines. The vertical launch/landing aircraft fit well with the role of air connections to regional airports where traditional jet airlines operate. Electric motors drive vertical lift rotors for 60 seconds (small battery)while gas powered props provide 400 km/hr airspeed
In combination with all the other factors coming together for China, it’s ubiquitous 5 and 5.5G will be a most important technology to make it work. Unfortunately, the telecoms in the US have chosen not to make the subsantial initial investments to put a comprehensive 5G system in place across the country. They have not constructed a large network of base stations across cities and along highways and so will have to fall back on 4G+ type of system that will not work very well.
Beidou needs to be in 3D. Flight destination and path should be preset before takeoff. Mandatory autonomous low attitude flying standards could probably be a safer option than a free for all system relying on the skill of pilots.
In economics, it is called comparative advantage. China invests, builds, creates new markets for prosperity. US is good at making weapons and destroying economies. Tale of 2 cities.
Appears China is the place to go for all of those Small Business Drone Operations that will go out of business as a result of U.S. legislation blocking DJI and other Chinese drone’s, parts, etc. Their businesses they worked so hard to develop will die. Aside - The curious restriction of blocking Chinese made drone parts such as motors, ESC's, flight controllers, propellers, etc. is that (I estimate) somewhere over 90% are manufactured in China making it nearly impossible to build a drone made entirely from US made parts.
I envision this happening but not in my lifetime , the old saying that anything within the dreams of man is possible I always believed in that too. China is like the return of the phoenix after each death its rise becomes more impressive…😊
The drone technology is already there, but a drone economy is a lot more than just the drones. There needs to be things like common standards for drone landing and recharging infrastructure, government legislation on flight rules and air corridors, even boring stuff like accident liability insurance. Even the buildings have to be redesigned: if you're landing drones on rooftops, then you have to redesign and rebuild elevators and staircases to accommodate the larger quantity of traffic needing rooftop access. A true drone economy will change many aspects of how people live in a city, requiring innovation everywhere, not just in drones.
Drone deliveries etc are in the "I'll believe it when I see it" category like autonomous cars. But now you mention air traffic control I wonder if the future is that the owner of the drone files a flight plan, or rather a start and destination, then the ATC operates all the drones to avoid collisions?
China reminds me of the US in the 1950s. There's a lot going on there! But the US became a "service economy" and all profitable activity is now in financials. Sure, there's still a lot of profit in licensing tech, such as chips produced in Taiwan and South Korea. But since they can't be sold to those who want them and can utilize them, something has to give.
One country looks at future developmental convenience for productive economic returns while the other, thinks of ways to use military arms for offensive success. Not to say, this is not future oriented and plausible but unfortunately, it is not defensive as for most country defence policies.
My understanding is that with large drones and flying cars there is a huge issue with noise pollution. Having these in cities at low altitudes sounds like a good idea but the reality is probably going to be different.
All these are being driven by advanced battery technologies which are in its infancy in US due to high development costs. That's why they are trying to stifle all or any attempt with EVs. With the exception of mobile phones that need the 2nm chips, almost every thing else work fine with 7nm.
This is the advantage of having a dynamic and forward thinking government. Unlike in most countries were politicians are bought by special interests and do nothing but count the days to retirement.
Fun story; a guy in Copenhagen Denmark got handicapped by the police, now he is in a wheelchair, has a heavy drone following people from the sky 😊, he's life has changed for the better , is ok ?

I have seen so many recommendations about Annette Gina, her strategy must be good for people to talk about her,
Well this is not my first time seeing her name on a social platform. I think she's extremely brilliant and lucrative at the same time.
This is correct, Annette Gina strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.

Once China has that, it will be a solutions to the never ending traffic woes in SE Asian capitals and cities. But I think just China itself, this will take a couple of years to develop.
China is really moving forward. When flying cars goes into the mass market in China, cities in China will look like a futuristic sci fi movie.

How on Earth can anyone compete with the Chinese ?
Bollywood movies
Nobody cares to compete with China.. Keep speculating on assets, property, Bitcoin, etc... the easy, transactional stuff...
@taiwanstillisntacountry Hollywood, too.
Just cooperate. Live and let live! Why fight and destroy each other?
@ sure,…does the CCP wish to cooperate tho?

That’s great but unless all the parts fold up when you land parking already at a premium is going to be a real issue to be resolved
The Chinese government is investing in heavy drone industry because its another goal is to transport goods between its space station/ battery station to the moon base construction in future.
Are these flying on our coast in USA right now ?????
Besides cargo delivery with vertical landings bypassing airports, we should expect regional airports become hubs fed by many vertical landing small passenger airlines. The vertical launch/landing aircraft fit well with the role of air connections to regional airports where traditional jet airlines operate. Electric motors drive vertical lift rotors for 60 seconds (small battery)while gas powered props provide 400 km/hr airspeed
They trying these out in NJ lately?
In combination with all the other factors coming together for China, it’s ubiquitous 5 and 5.5G will be a most important technology to make it work.
Unfortunately, the telecoms in the US have chosen not to make the subsantial initial investments to put a comprehensive 5G system in place across the country. They have not constructed a large network of base stations across cities and along highways and so will have to fall back on 4G+ type of system that will not work very well.
monopolies or Industries of efficiency ?
Yep, "here they go again"!
Well, in this case there is no industry to take over. This is a completely new industry.
Beidou needs to be in 3D. Flight destination and path should be preset before takeoff. Mandatory autonomous low attitude flying standards could probably be a safer option than a free for all system relying on the skill of pilots.
That's how it will have to be.
China is like the return of the phoenix after each death its rise becomes more impressive…😊
ruclips.net/video/B7TIP827VFg/видео.html ,just believed it
Yes, they are creating a new economic ecosystem. 🏆
Here they go again, and again, and again.
i thought this was going to be about the drones over NJ 😂
The movie Fifth element foresaw that years before.
Yes, yes, yes❤😂😊😊@@gregwang8628
China reminds me of the US in the 1950s. There's a lot going on there!
But the US became a "service economy" and all profitable activity is now in financials.
Sure, there's still a lot of profit in licensing tech, such as chips produced in Taiwan and South Korea. But since they can't be sold to those who want them and can utilize them, something has to give.
Last time I checked, there's no ballistic shute in Ehang's drones. Very dangerous.
Any U.S. or Eu counterpart doing similar development at the same scale?
One country looks at future developmental convenience for productive economic returns while the other, thinks of ways to use military arms for offensive success. Not to say, this is not future oriented and plausible but unfortunately, it is not defensive as for most country defence policies.
😀 😊
👍 👍
My understanding is that with large drones and flying cars there is a huge issue with noise pollution. Having these in cities at low altitudes sounds like a good idea but the reality is probably going to be different.
"Here they go again." RR.
