I've done these with Christmas trees and snowmen lol its more fun for the kids if you let them watch. Kerp an eye out at dollar stores right at holiday season. They occasionally have them in.
This is an activity that kids enjoy participating in all the way through usually. Then they get to see something they made grow into the tree. Otherwise, you just bring it out, and they're like, 'Oh yay, a thing'.
Yeah, I was thinking the same! Like oh done this with my 4 year old a few times and it’s always something we do together! She loves doing it with me and then we he to see something we did together turn into something beautiful! And it would be even more special for them I’d think because it’s a memory of their trip as well and a little piece they brought back with them. Her doing it alone to just show it to them at the end is frigging weird tbh! 🤦🏼♀️But to each their own I guess 🤷🏼♀️
That would be interesting and probably doable, but it'd have to be a specific kind of resin since it's basically paper and resin gets super hot as it cures and usually can't be poured at a thickness of an inch or more or else it won't cure all the way. But some resins can do 4 or 5in and maybe more. It would probably turn out alright tbh but it just may be tricky
@@I.no.ah.guy57right I do resin work I'd be more worried about pouring it on top of the tree making the leaves and stuff fall off and apart. Resin would probably be too thick to pour on the tree, it looks very delicate.
@@xoxotay4170 would it be possible to put the tree in a cube mold maybe and then pour resin in so when it dries the tree is preserved inside a blank cube and still looks very pretty as a decoration

I have those plates, they're very beautiful. Maybe that's why it was recommended to me bc I've never seen your content before. I said the brand of the plate out loud the other day because unfortunately I broke one of the beautiful bowls and we had to order more
Omg! This is a wonderful gift 🎁 for my brother! It is his birthday 🎉 today and he is turning 19! He dreams on traveling to Japan 🇯🇵 to see the cherry blossom 🌸 trees! But, we sadly can’t go right now and my sister is scared of heights! I am so happy I seen this! HE WILL LOVE IT DEEPLY 🩷🌸❤😄✨
@@blubuterfli772 that’s a good point, the second thing you said. However, it would matter if she went through all of that process without the kids. What’s the point if they’re not involved in the process?? It’s also fun to try things for the first time with parents because everyone is on the same page. But again, yes, she can buy another to do with the kids. That’s fair.
It's basically will start to disintegrate on its own since it's just salt. The water was a concentrated salt solution which when soaked by the cardboard, evaporates at its tips "branches", depositing the salt there, the color comes from food dye on cardboard
Do these with your kids. Some of my childhood memories are from watching these grow over time. I had freaking Chia pets and you got a beautiful tree with only 12 HOURS to wait for results! They would learn more watching it grow and asking questions, and so would your audience.
Finally someone who does it correctly. I've seen so many ppl just pour them into the little tray and claimed it was a scam 💀 I love these little crystal growers, I remember doing two trees and a rock
I just checked Amazon for the product, and on one of the links for it, there were pictures of you and your children in this video looking at the tree. Just making sure that you gave them permission to use your family in their advertisements.
i think it would have been cooler to let them see the growth process or let them help a bit, not much but stuff like pouring water or unboxing so they can feel the magic :D
Why were the "leaves" soft then? Not trying to discredit what you're saying ^^, but are salt crystals able to be soft? If so that's actually pretty cool.
@@oliviab.9194 soft… she didn’t squeeze them. I had an experiment kit when I was younger and it was very similar to this, they are typically very brittle and we had coloring. It had multiple different types, that’s why I said “something similar”. They still sale kits for kids that do this still today, look up “Crystal Chemistry Garden”
Its lovely. Probably would have been lovely to do it together though. Very beautiful. 🌸🌸🌸
I think it would've been more fun if she let them watch too but I get she's doing it for content

@monkeytimestamps4915 no, but, some people do admit to be "overthinkers" so it's not that weird I'd say. I'm really a random person though so
How do you know she didn't?

I've had one of those before and it has so much different trees
There are different kinds of trees?? This is soo cool !!! What other kinds of trees are there?
I had one but it fell apart
..
They have them on Amazon
Same, it was for a school project

Unfortunately the kids weren't much involved in the process...
What are they called? Thanks.
@solitaire10 oh my I can't remember something like grow your own crystal tree.
That's so cool!! ❤
I love that some were on the ground like they fell off the tree like the petals do on real cherry blossoms
this is so perfect cherry blossoms are such beautiful trees and yours came out so nice
Pretty. Never seen anything like this.
Neither have I. I’m seeing in the comments that ppl did these when they were younger and I’ve never known these to exist. They are super cute!

Unlocked a memory from when I was younger, used to do these trees all the time
I love your videos! Your daughters are beautiful and adorable! The flowers are amazing! ❤😊
I want to do this with my kids and let them watch it grow throughout the day ❤
Next time maybe do it with them... that is a cute tree!
That's what I thought
Yay!! I have been waiting for this video!! The tree looks AMAZING!! That is literally so cute!! 🌸
Was not expecting that result! Pretty cool! 💗
Wow that's one of the best ones I've seen of this type of growing project. Nice!

Thank you I needed an explanation
😂😂I was gonna ask same thing. What happens after 30 days😮
@@theemo874 so the pink fluff will break off the moment the tree is moved or touched since its crystallized salt?
Wow, I wasn’t expecting it to ACTUALLY look pretty good, but damn
These are so fun! Takes me back to my childhood ❤
Lol I bet her kids would’ve loved to have this memory as well
I had one of those and it was so cool, be very careful they flip easily. My brother breathed to hard and it all came fumbling down
Great shop! I admire your dedication to clean ingredients. Don’t be swayed by any naysayers. God bless 🙏🏼❤️
I remember doing these as a kid in the early 90s. Interesting to see these have a comeback.
Everytime I see Izzy and Aria's face I feel so lucky because I was here for Izzy's birth, got to see her grow up. And now aria ❤
I have a cherry blossom tree in my garden in the UK. Its always been there and my area has a lot of cherry blossom trees. So its really cool.
I've seen this it's pretty cool. I love how it lasts really long and that there are many different types of trees if you want.

The ones i had had a mountain (that grew white "snow"), flowers and trees.
That’s pretty fun. It also looks like a fancy cake topper.
FINALLY someone actually shows the results of this cherry blossom tree toy

I looked this up and geeze what bad reviews. Seems you’re lucky to get it to look so nice!
I think it would have been more exciting to do it with them. They probably would have enjoyed watching it grow, cute though
I love it so much I want one! It's Beautiful!
When I was in preschool we made those but it was a really windy day so when we got picked up everyone’s got the blossoms blown away😭
Awww. Yeah, movement and wind will dislodge the crystals.
It's time to order a new one and do it over!
Cool! What are the blossoms made of?

That is so cute, and the cut to the real tree was pretty funny❤😂
Oh wow!! Absolutely beautiful! I’m amazed
Why didn’t you let your KIDS do this? Don’t you think that would have been more fun for them than just seeing the “after”? It’s a kids craft.
so nostalgic , my mom would buy me these back when I was a kid
I remember a sweet memory of me and my sister and dad making one of these it was so cool!

When you skip chemistry at school, the whole world is magic.
Whst is it really?
That's adorable.
Ive done that before it's really fun
I really wonder what would happen if you poured regular water on it. Im thinking of buying two just to test it out lol
Nothing would happen because it needs a concentrated salt solution to grow the salt crystals
