It is interesting how many people play another game and then wonder how you would make the same character in Skyrim. I'm not complaining because this way I get to see yet another Skyrim build I'd want to make.
It is indeed an odd obsession, but an obsession nontheless, lol. Not sure why I'd rather play a Skyrim facsimile in some cases, to be honest. Sometimes there is just comfort in familiarity.
Thank you! Yeah, regular 'ol spells are way more straightforward and intuitive. And in most cases more effective. I really had to look to find their punch!
I had intended to at some point, because there are some really really cool starting classes in that game. But that would require me to play alot more Elden Ring than I currently have time for. That game is so huge that it is a hobby all on it's own. So probably, yes, but it'll be one of those "some day" things.
I know it's a year late, but Colorful Magic and Midas Magic both have spells that would fit in Elden ring. Plasma Ball would make a good replacement for Ranni's Dark Moon.
@@carn114 For replicating Elden Ring's sword beams, Imbued Weapons mod and the Battlemage mod would work. Imbued Weapons adds a shrine providing a power for bloodskal effects for one handed and two handed weapons on Power Attacks. Battlemage adds Arcana Enchantment and the Battlemage power. You can preload spells for power attacks of different directions, bash attacks, and even unechanted staffs.
That's a fair call. Shock damage is more universally viable, with less perks needed to reduce resistances. With the correct perks, though, Frost is perfectly usable, as well. I agree it does fit the crystal aesthetic better.

wow!!!! brother, brilliant .... that character is a fantastic work. Could you tell me how to add useless equipped staff on the character's back? What guild did you make?
Sorry, running weekend errands... The mod I use for showing gear is called All Geared Up Derivative, or AllGUD. It takes some setup, and can be a little complicated, but it has lots of options, and works great. If you're asking about guide, I used the Nolvus Guide, though it was couple years ago now, and it has been updated since. The link to the modding guide is in the description. And thank you 😊
Elden ring is awesome. However it's basically someone's really well modded Skyrim lol. Elden ring has quests that are not Skyrim so it's just what I need sometimes
It's a bit of a mashup, with the robes and hood coming from the Divine Elegance mod, but I forget what they're called exactly. The boots and gloves I believe are just retextured vanilla pieces.
@@carn114 awesome tyvm, also found a heavy armor set called resplendant armoed robes and it comes in different colors including white so i may rock that and switch to this look later on lol
@@carn114 Yeah im running the nolvus ascension mod list and that sets in it, im almost fully set up for this build and man is it fun. Tough but fun forsure
Sometime in the future you should make a fallout 4 build of some sort with mods. I don't know of any RUclips channels that have modded fallout 4 builds.
Maybe in the future, I have a couple ideas for FO4 builds, but not a ton. As far as other channels, Belisaurus has a few *really* good modded FO4 guides that he really wants more people to see. I can highly recommend them!
We had a debate about this in one of the livestreams. Turns out "staves" is the correct plural form of "staff" when it means a rod or stick used as a weapon. I don't really pick up on the pretentiousness thing, but was generally curious as "staffs" just doesn't sound right to me. Like "halfs" or "calfs" just doesn't sound right. That being said, I definitely won't judge you if you want to use "staffs" :) www.michiganradio.org/arts-culture/2021-09-12/twts-staving-off-questions-about-staffs-and-staves

@@carn114 That's why we keep doing the stealth archer
Haha, indeed!
I haven't played Elden Ring but going by the clips you showed, you've done an awesome job of recreating the Astrologer character in Skyrim!
Thanks Gail!
Really sweet looking build. Just wanted to say your Druid Archer playthrough inspired my current character lol, keep up the good work!
Ah yeah, that guy was fun to play! I should revisit that concept sometime. Thanks for the encouragement 🙂
Yes, that was amazing. I’ve really never done much with staves and now I want to try :)
Thank you! Yeah, regular 'ol spells are way more straightforward and intuitive. And in most cases more effective. I really had to look to find their punch!
Wow! Amazing build, and now I want to start over with this. Also, production quality just got epic with this. Simply fantastic!❤
I thank you for the kind words, and apologize for flaring up the restartitis!
you rock carn!
Thanks so much!
This is really cool and unique! Do you plan on doing build for some of the other elden ring classes in skyrim?

I've waited for this one for some time now. It didnt' disappoint.
Glad you like it!
Yes!! I would love a Scorpion and a Subzero from mortal kombat builds
They've been on my list for a while! I think they'll be really fun.
@@carn114 I really think they will be as well :) i have played a Dr Strange playthrough once and it was really fun as well

Yeah, that Dark Moon was a powerhouse! I'll take a look, and might be adding them to a future playthrough :)

Well done video. You deserve more subs.

I’d personally go ice because crystal magic. Additionally, ice has the most defensive features of the elemental types.

Thanks for the guide, started a similar playthrough today. How did you get the armor for this build? Is there a specific mod you're using?
