MSFS A320 TYPE RATING - AUTO RETRACT & INTERCEPT FROM ABOVE | FLIGHT BITES

Welcome to our Flight Bites series! With these videos we aim to demonstrate some more A320 procedures, without going into as much depth as we do for our type rating videos. These will hopefully act as a refresher of your Airbus skills.
Today we are looking at two things: The flap auto retract after take off, and the glide slope intercept from above procedure. On longer A320 flights we might be too heavy to fly a speed constraint in clean config., but we can use the auto retract procedure to help us fly this constraint whilst also improving our rate of climb. Because we don't do it much, this video will refresh things for you!
The second part is the glide slope intercept from above. Sometimes, we might need to perform this, even as a result of events that are out of our control. It is SO important we get these actions correct, otherwise there is serious threat when it comes to other traffic, terrain or weather close by.
