  • I continue to chase and film CP 2816 The Empress across southern Saskatchewan to the US boarder. This video is packed with beautiful vistas and close ups of The Empress as she passes me in many places.

Thank you Tony for all your efforts! Excellent job of putting the video together from all the pictures and video (ground & drone) as it really gives a sense of a journey well taken. Thanks again!

I never noticed until now that the rear car has horn as well !!!!! One thing I have sure noticed, following her journey on facebook, is how everywhere in Canada, everyone seems to be very respectful, and maintains a good distance between themselves and the track. With a lot of the US pictures, there are people that are just a couple of feet off the track - some could literally reach out and touch her as she passed by ! That must be driving the crew bonkers !!!!

Thank you, yes the horn is for reverse movements but clearly someone was having some fun in there LOL I do agree that most Canadian railfans do respect the safety rules more so and I really do not know why as everyone here is just as aware of the dangers as Americans are

Great video, it is the Weyburn sub not Wayburn. I watched it roll through the area, what an amazing part or history.

Back of the last car - what's going on there? Some sort of picture window? or a huge Video Screen? ... Anyone know. (maybe that gets explained in the narration and I just haven't finished viewing yet? FUNNY - disregard my question - I hit 'continue' and the very next sentence is the explanation ... Same in Part 1 when I asked myself (and paused the video to look at): "What's that green locomotive about? " ... very next sentence. Thanks.
