How are you finding the eos 5 I've been using digital but love monochrome and I have been thinking of the film camera as I have a few canon lenses. Plus do you give a bit of one to one with film cameras as I'm in Notts.
I'll be honest I've actually only put one roll of film through due to the lockdown, I ran a roll of portra 400 through and it turned out great, very similar to shooting digital, as for one to one's its not something I've ever offered so far, but feel free to drop me a message with any questions on my Instagram, instagram.com/jacraig_photography/
The reason I ask, is i bought the same camera about 15 yrs ago, and at that time bought several of the batteries, I haven't used the camera for yrs and like most people moved to Digital
@@gearjunkie8681 fairly easy honestly, if you've used a Canon dslr before its really the same concept, including the light meter, its the closest thing to digital that I've shot so far
Yes I have, I responded to your previous comment, here is a link to the video where I ran film through the camera ruclips.net/video/SOAFe2kiNt8/видео.html
Quite similar to the EOS 5, but with the older FD Mount lenses, might have to give one a try sometime, I've also got the EOS 650 & 500N, also have an AE-1 Program but not used it yet
I picked this one up for £56 for the body, depending on where you get it from the price will vary, I did see some for £30 on Facebook in reasonable condition
If you would like to see some photos taken with this camera, check out this video

Are the Batteries still available, sometimes they can be difficult to source
They are indeed, they're called 2CR5 batteries

I used to get Batteries from Jessops, but not sure if they even still stock the batteries for the Camera
Q
Batteries are readily available on eBay and any good camera shop even in March 2022
