    From the title, I initially thought this was an argument *against* classical architecture. Much of the modern architectural profession and architectural education establishment has blighted the landscape of our built environment.

    given the tendency to cut cost whereever possible, If they did more classical architecture it would likely be done badly with poor materials and get its reputation ruined. I'd rather see fewer tasteful implementations.
