Hey Hannah! Out of all the Golf reviewers and content, you are absolutely Number 1!, I bought the Powakaddy CT8 GPS because of you and it’s fantastic!. Thanks so much. What a trusted and impartial opinion vlogger you are!.
I bought a CT8 after watching your review - cracking trolley. Just to note, if only ever using a trolley bag with the MagLok, you don't need to use the bottom band, which can be removed.
@@nationalclubgolferNoisiest trolley I ever bought. Sent it back to manufacturer and it came back the same. Grinding and creaking noises. They fitted a new gear box. No difference.
Thought l would really like an electric trolley. Bought a CT6 . Most stressful game ever. Setting 4 too slow 5 too fast , on off button took real effort to activate and deactivate , oh and battery bailed after 12 holes despite saying 5 bars. Went back to push trolley - bliss …..
You've addressed some of the issues I have with my current setup - I have a carry bag that ends up turning on its side with my current push trolley and I don't want to fork out for an electric one if its just going to do the same. Does this one come with a bag at all? I don't like the idea of a muddy boot.
Hi Hannah ! I own a Powakaddy trolley and it’s a bit like triggers brush. It now has 3 different wheels and has now stopped working. The battery indicator says it’s full charged but no lights come on the lcd display. It was quite expensive and came with a built in gps system. If the battery is faulty then that’s at least £200 and if it’s a wiring fault then god knows. I am looking at possibly replacing it with a new one but not sure I would probably try a different brand option as I have had quite lot of issues with the current one , especially when it’s only 3 years old. Maybe I should just buy a decent push along one and have done with it 🤷♂️
@ConfusedCurling-ob5lo Have you considered Go Kart Golf? The first one I owned lasted 14 years without fault apart from the battery which they replaced twice free of charge even though they were out of warranty and also sent me free upgrades to the hubs and switch The one I have now is in its 4th year and still no issues unlike a Motocaddy M1 I have which I bought when I forgot my battery on a big day out and they had no hire trolleys of buggy Motocaddy have the worst customer service I've ever come across The wheel has stuck on and won't come off which seems to be a common issue and now I can't reverse them to fit the trolley in my car and Motocaddy won't do anything about it even though it's hardly been used because it's out of warranty You'd think with the size of Motocaddy as a company they would be happy to remove the wheel for me but no I now have a £700 useless lump of 💩
I got a cheaper trolley last year (mainly for times when I'm playing 36 or a few days running). The thing that amazes me is how much the battery technology has leapt forward in recent years.
I have recently bought this trolley for £460 , prices are dropping down on these models. Also if bag & trolley have mag Lok there is no need for a bottom strap that’s the whole point of mag Lok to secure bag without bottom strap. Motor is more powerful & quieter. I’m on to my 3rd powakaddy & had no issues with any of them.
Golf is far too expensive in general. A £600 trolley cannot be considered cheap. The pricing of everything in golf needs to be looked at if people are serious about growing the game and making it more accessible.
Golf is cheap if you buy 2nd hand. As long as you don't want the latest and greatest, because golf equipment is always being updated there are great 2nd hand deals too be had.
Agree re the price. What is the guarantee on this trolley? Mine had a year, and the handle broke. Got it replaced, fortunately, by my pro shop pleading on my behalf. I was told I used it too much 😂
Love this … the bells and whistles on electric trollies are completely unnecessary in my opinion. You can’t take your trolley onto a tee so GPS is not needed, and charging your phone ! Charge it in your car or the house 😂. However £650 is still too expensive. Hopefully retail over time will bring it down to the £500 mark.
I have the CT6. The accessories arent tge best and expensuve compared to the motokaddy.. im having ussues with the height of the top of where the bag sits. Its works loose resulting in my bag slipping down which in turn hampers retrieving my wedges out of the bag
Golf prices are out of control, far too expensive for the average person, new drivers and irons are almost unaffordable. That’s why I’m not thinking about upgrading any of my equipment soon. 🙁
Motocaddy doing something similar but cheaper. Electric trolleys were becoming way too complicated, anything over £500 is way too expensive. We have our watches with GPS no need for all these gizmos on the trolley. All we need is a reliable trolley that makes no noise with a battery that doesn’t need replacing for at least 5 years.
I've used the Zip Navigator for 3 years. I cannot imagine wanting to use a trolley that requires me to hold onto it. I use the remote version, but not the "follow." I want to direct it without if following everywhere.
For the price of these trolleys, all the accessories should come as standard (brolly holder ect) never mind having power caddy store to rinse even more overpriced accessories that cost them pennys to make. Golf gear is well overpriced in all areas
Never any Powakaddys!!!!!!!!Two of them I had lasted a year and after that both of them broke the drive shaft in the middle of a round - never again!!!!!!
