@goromike - you are right this band isn't going anywhere until they feature the double kick fap-ness everywhere. :p This kick sounds heavily sample balanced in this performance. this kick eq and level seems hide the lack of dynamics in the sample, until the very very end, and then you can hear the boomy-ness and (bleedy-ness -) in the more live kick signal which may have helped the nois-y section seem more dimensional. also, check the mix on the Live from SXSW, so badass.
Jules Winnfield for me...put a girl on stage that sings and rocks a guitar and she is hot.....but i hear what you are saying. my other loves are Annie Hardy of Giant Drag and Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz. Ritzy is amazing on stage. i would pay top dollar to see them live.
