If the lines get changed into the paragraph and in some cases we have a big paragraph then how to adjust the spacing between the words in the paragraph that we got by replacing lines content into paragraph. It is difficult to give space individually to all the words in the complete content. So do we have any shortcut for this in word?

That symbol is called paragraph mark you will get from more in find n replace option... Best way is do the same in easy way is just copy the text to any browser paste it either in search option or url address then copy n paste to word it will work fine... Enjoy

MJ you give more precise, easy to follow instructions than anything I could find in the MS Word 'Help' index or anywhere else. I had a very sloppy OCR scanned pdf of a messy photocopied...and VERY loooooong...document (as well as a bunch of others I can now fix thanks to YOU). Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I see now that ^p are the paragraph indents being replaced by 'nothing'. I think this works only for a paragraph as i was trying to justify a table of contents.
Take care of genuine para mark which r hardly 3 4 in no.replace them with anything like @%. Now we can comfortably replace itching line breaks with a single space.

A couple of other tricks to help anyone that needs the same features, Ctrl+shift+space creates a hard space (that doesn't change with justification), shift+return creates a line feed to ensure that line gets justified (unlike a standard carriage return)

Hey MJ...one question: This method worked fabulously for a long (250 page) document, but unfortunately removed ALL the paragraph codes (^p) so it is all now one continuous text versus 3 or 4 paragraphs per page. Without having to either manually 1.) restore each paragraph 'carriage return' from the original, or 2.) justify each paragraph or even page one by one, is there a way to accomplish what this video shows without affecting the existing / actual paragraphs in the original? Thanks in advance!
