My friend found an abandoned dog, her matted fur telling a story of neglect. As a dog groomer, I stepped in to help, documenting her journey in a live video. Despite her poor condition, the dog displayed remarkable behaviour during grooming. We discovered she was infested with hundreds of ticks but, thankfully, had no severe diseases. Removing ticks from her matted fur was a painstaking task. Bathing her properly was crucial for her compromised skin. Throughout the process, I highlighted the importance of careful grooming to prevent future infestations. Despite the challenges, the dog's strength and progress were evident. In the end, witnessing her transformation satisfied us, reaffirming our commitment to neglected dogs in need. The only horrible thing in her story is that she is going back to her owner, who made her condition that bad.

This is the first video of yours that made me cry. Poor old lady. Why does the owner want her back? They don’t care even a little bit about this dog. Sickening.

Not sure how it works in your country, but in the United States that poor dog would NOT be required to return to owner. The condition of that dog constituted neglect and the dog would have been taken from them, so sad she was returned!!

Maybe she was the oldest dog, useless now after being bred time and again, with mammary cancer. This is horrible. I hope you could do something for her, that gave her a chance to be loved like every dog should be loved. Thank you for grooming her and making her feel better.

This video is amazing! A lot more detail and I felt like I was there with you at some points! And seeing the relief and happiness on this sweet girls' face was priceless and so heartwarming, even my eyes cried happy tears for her. Her future seems uncertain but if she can come back in the future to see you again this would be wonderful and at least one way that you could keep an eye on her welfare. Thanks! We didn't see her again, but we hope that she is better, at least she doesn't have that matted fur on her body. This is the only thing that we could done, but yeah, the owner was the last person who needed a free haircut for his dog.
Oh I’m so sad she went back to such a bad place, thank you for helping such a loving dog. Maybe they couldn’t breed from her so they really neglected her. So so sad. ❤

The live videos give people an idea just how long the processes are and what challenges and surprises you face. But me, I prefer the edited videos. She is such a lovely dog, poor thing, being eaten alive by all those ticks. Thank you for taking care of her. I am very sad that she had to go back to an owner who neglected her.

Omg 😳 she is SO good to have all that going on and be quite on the table! I wish you were in my area my Bicheon is a senior and been taken care of all his life now that he is a senior I’m having trouble to get these groomers even cut his nails! It’s so frustrating even when I pay so much for grooming .

The sweet dog is so good because you are so good, kind, patient and very skilled. Thank you for caring for so many dogs needing help. I was sad when she had to return home but hope her owner will take better care of her - hopefully he sees these comments and mends his ways as we say in the UK!

Thank you for the amazing job you did for this poor old lady! Just a suggestion - you can apply flea and tick prevention treatment if you encounter similar cases like this in future, and spray some around her living area too. Otherwise, she's gonna end up with lots of fleas and ticks again (it doesn't seem like her owner is gonna take good care of her), and all your hard work would have gone to naught.
On another note, regarding your question, it would be good if you could show more bathing scenes. Not sure if it's just me, but I find dogs taking a shower incredibly therapeutic.

I was so happy to see this poor dog being groomed and ticks removed. Then . . . she goes right back to where she came from! It killed me to see her sitting in that kennel in the deep grass. Oh, this broke my heart. I dont like the video if they have a sad ending.
