@@elinorhartless4672 I was thinking the same thing. It was shameful that this beautiful and gentle dog has been sorely neglected. Thanks to your meticulous grooming, you've helped sweet Didi feel much better and recover from her wounds. Hope from now on, Didi will get better care at home and be a healthy and happy dog.
I have an English Cocker, and I'm alarmed at the terrible condition she was in. Very neglected. And she definitely is not groomed every 2 months. In addition to the wounds (which how did they not notice those?) and the foxgrass, she had a terrible mange or other skin condition. She was also breathing very heavily, considering she was "sleepy". I don't think she was sleepy, I think she had infection coursing through her veins, and was very very sick. And skinny! Poor thing. I also don't understand why her tail was cropped so short. I think she's been suffering her whole life. Bless you for helping her! And I really hope her situation is better now, but unfortunately I have my doubts that much will change. You said they are friends of yours, so I hope you will check on her.
That poor dog! The owners obviously have a lovely home and so can afford for that poor dog to be groomed more often. That dog has been neglected and looks broken! I have been grooming for years and never had such a dog on my table that looks so broken! Absolutely shameful and unforgivable! However, you have done a brilliant job on her and I am so impressed with the time you took to remove all the grass seeds that must of taken ages. Well done for making her life happy again.
There is a suspicious amount of "broken looking" dogs on the table in this channel. In some cases, the same dogs that looked very lively and happy when they are picked up for their grooming. From what I've seen so far, I concluded that the channel owners deliberately (mis)classify sleeping and calming drugs as "no sedation" - possibly because they're worried that some may not like to hear it. So, don't worry, these dogs are not broken, just very out of it, for the sake of their and the groomers safety. :)
Didi looks emotionally shut down. Not just "being good" - She looks depressed and hopeless. I really hope I'm wrong. So sad to see her not even left her head to make eye contact. You helped her heal up and feel good again. Great work!
Oh I absolutely agree, it's so heartbreaking when they look this way. I hope she can find her new happiness is able to stay. To think the owners have all that money (look at the fancy asf house) and yet their dog is badly neglected.

I've come to comment this. It's a real problem here where I live when people bring dogs with those "home remedy" that they listened from their grandpas or an random G search. The condition of this sweet, poor dog is absolutely dreadful. How can the owners neglect her so badly? Didi looks as if she has given up completely, poor little soul 🥺. She looks so dejected and must be in a lot of pain…….thank you so much for helping her x
I feel so bad that this dog had maggots. Omgoodness. This dog is being eaten alive by maggots. He needs better care!! The owners need to take care of the dog. This is pure neglect. Dear God 🙏🏼🙏🏼
You were angels in disguise to care for Didi the way you did! I was a vet tech for many years and I can attest to the fact that Didi was not just “sleeping” through that grooming. She was obviously sick and suffering and had she continued on that way without your care for her, the owners may have ended up with a seriously sick dog or worse. They are your friends - so please keep reminding them of the importance of regular grooming AND keeping Didi indoors. You are wonderful people so I am now going to become a subscriber.😊
Uhu... "sleeping" while breathing very fast and not reacting to anything. :D Yes, she's very sick at this point. But also drugged - just watch some other videos from this channel and compare the dogs and how each behaves before, during and after treatment. Heard them literally say in another video how that particular dog could *not be sedated due to health concerns*. Read: Dogs usually get sedated but some ignorant people likely flamed the channel owners for it, so they now gloss over the fact that they do it. I don't like being outright lied to, but I understand that telling the truth can be dangerous on a social media platform. Also, out of the few grooming channels I've seen this is the best and they're the gentlest and best in care - also because of sedations which I wish others would use more freely. Reduces stress and trauma by 95%. Still. Not just sleeping and not just sick. ^^ Keeping a dog indoors only isn't dog friendly either. Nightly paw checks and brushing sessions twice a week is what she needs on top of more regular grooms and immediate vet care if this problem arises again. Then she can run around all she likes - no need to lock her up like a prisoner for most of the day. :)
Thank God the owners now have her in the house. Spraying disinfectant and saying she went to the vet is a disgrace to the dog. She looks so happy now and I hope she stays in the house.
@@rustyhowe3907 Dude, chill. Most cows with sore skin on their feet will be just fine with the kind of treatment they tried to give their dog. I bet you that was ignorance on their part, thinking it was just a superficial problem. Why not try to use a treatment they know to be effective with their cows? They did reach out to the groomer when they realised the problem didn't go away. Plus, sending her to the groomer first was also a good call considering a groomer is way more experienced at getting rid of all the excess hair and has the better tools for it - that hair needed to come of anyway before the vet could treat her properly. For all we know, they might've phoned the vet first and the vet told them to get the dog to a groomer and then straight to them afterward. I for one do not believe the one-sided story we get told. A dog of that breed isn’t meant to be out in the tall grass. So very glad she will now be a happy indoor dog where she can stay away from things that would cause her pain. God bless you both!

Firstly, thank you both for doing a wonderful groom on poor sad Didi 😪 I've never seen dog sleeping through a groom without sedation ! Your were her salvation 👏👏 I was sooo glad to see her running about at the end of the video ❤ You are an angel. ❤😘😘🍀🏴
You still haven't seen a dog sleep through a groom without sedation. Watch some other videos of this channel and listen closely and between the lines. :) I concluded that "not sedated" essentially means "not under full anaesthesia" instead of "no calming/sleeping drugs given". Better this way, tbh
You are gentle and you take things slow when you groom. That makes all the difference I think. Didi looked depressed and acted as if she didn't care what happened to her. You brought her back. What a difference to see Didi in her home. She looked like a healthy and happy dog. Greetings from California and great work.
Oh my God. How can anyone allow this to.happen. How would they like this to happen to the. Thank heaven for you. May God take care of them. It hurt to watch . Good luck to you both
What a sweet girl Didi is. She must have been so miserable with all those seeds stuck in her skin! Cant believe how well she took the groom. Thank you for making her feel all better again.
Didi knew being with you two. She was going to get love and attention. She was so relaxed because she knew that you two are loving and caring people. Thank you so much. These precious babies need you both.
Thank you for saving sweet little Didi. She looks so much better. I truly hope her owners keep her in the house and take good care of her all her life.
Thank you for taking time to really help her. She looked so defeated. It broke my heart. 😢 I can't believe she had wounds with maggots. God bless you for paying such close attention and pulling all that, I think you called it "foxtail" out. She looked so much better afterwards. ❤❤❤
Omg! Thank you for helping Didi! I've never seen a cocker spanial as a farm dog, but regardless she needs better attention then what's she's getting from her owners. Makes me wonder about what the other animals might have going on, a vet needs to check out all the animals. This was hard to watch.😢 Shame on the owners. I think you gave her a much needed spa day! Although she didn't seem to care about anything, she was giving up! She needs some downtime to heal! Thank you far helping her. ❤❤❤❤ ❤
A dog owner who hunted with her dogs told me of how important checks for foxtails were, years ago. Seeing this dog stabbed in so many places and the severe damage to her feet is an illustration of what my friend had talked about. I'm glad Didi was able to be calm despite all the hours of help it took. Ah, an update, so nice to see Didi happy and free from exhaustion and pain.
Thank you for helping Didi! She is a beautiful girl. I was sick to see she had maggots in her wound and I really appreciate you showing us the video of her afterwards looking healthy and happy.
Thank you for helping these poor neglected dogs ❤ I’m glad you educated the owner to take better care of their dog. In many places she would be taken away from the owner. Thankfully the owners are better to her now ❤
Didi knows you love her❤, so much so that she felt comfortable sleeping during the groom! She knew you would help. I am so glad that the owners made her an indoor dog and sent you that video!! I love your work, y’all are angels!❤❤
All dogs deserve to be pampered but a cocker spaniel is not a farm dog, they should have a shepherd if they want a real working dog. I hope those owners learned a lesson. But if they lie to a groomer about taking their dog to a vet, they can’t be very trustworthy or smart.
Thank you for caring for this lovely cocker spaniel. He needed your help most definitely and I am glad his living situation is now better. My goodness, he was just the quietest saddest dog and the change in 3 weeks at the end of the video shows how he should really be -- bright, happy and energetic. He seems healed physically AND mentally.
@helentaylor4911 No it doesn't but I don't get why this person is shocked by the 2 months...why I said its normal for dogs to be on a 6 to 8 week schedule for a groom, depending on breed it can be longer than this to 🤷♀️
Thank you for helping her! It is tearful to see how much she is suffering. Has it been two months since you groomed her?? It seems like a long long time has passed since she had your care. This poor dog! Thank you!
Poor dog was so poorly. Cockers dont sleep through a groom they are full of energy. Thank goodness you got her feet sorted. I hope the farmer looks after his animals better than he did the dog.
when cockers are as old as her, they absolutely can sleep through a groom. this particular case however was likely due to sedation and exhaustion, as even though they mentioned her not being sedated in the video, she's showing every sign of a calming drug
Didi looked subdued due to possible depression, was amazingly cooperative, and deserved this pampering care. Am glad to see that she became healed and happy! (I also enjoyed your music.)
Didi is gorgeous, her copper colour is stunning. Love the long hair especially those furry ears, so cute. Didi would be exhausted plus you have a nice warm and quiet grooming salon. I think she was appreciating the rest, plus she wasn't standing on those sore paws. I was wondering if her tiredness was in part due to the wound infection, because that does happen and she might have had a raised temperature I am so glad you could help her immensely. You got rid of the fox tails and treated the wounds left behind. The one that is a definite hole will have been an abscess after the foxtail burrowed in more. That's been there a while especially now maggots are hatching. I hope the vet really cleaned it out and gave her antibiotics. I sincerely hope the vet checked her ear canals as foxtail are notorious for causing huge problems there. 3 weeks later she is back to being a lively dog-Fantastic.... I also hope your friend now realise why they have to check/brush her.. We live on a farm, dogs n cats get foxtails but we try to keep them away from the long grass.. Cats are harder to control!!! One of our dogs many years ago got a large Thorn in her paw, she was limping but we could not find anything, no hole, nothing sticking out the wound etc. Then it became a huge abscess, off to vet for some quick surgery, they opened the abscess let it drain, washed it out and found a big Thorn in it. Daily dressings, antibiotic tablets and like Didi 3 weeks later, healed and back to her normal usual self.... Thank you for Helping Didi. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Thank you for the lovely work you do, and for explaining the situation with captions. I appreciate the work you both do, to help the dog and to educate us all. I’m sure that many of us viewers, later in life, will know how to take care of dogs because of the information you shared 😊💖

I’m so glad you took care of her, she’s so beautiful I don’t know but I think that besides being neglected she’s also abuse, she’s to calm and head down all the time, I’m sorry for her😢
I had an American Cocker Spaniel for more than 12 years who I groomed at home for quite a few years. It took me about 2 hours to do a standard groom, but one time she ran through a patch of burrs and it was a nightmare to fix! I can’t imagine what those Foxtail grasses would be like to treat 😓 they look so painful. Keep up the excellent work!

So glad this ended well. Till I watched the end of the video I was going to post that this poor, sweet dog needed to be taken away from her owner. But now knowing that they will keep her inside, and hopefully routinely brushed and groomed, I feel much relief.

Thanks for your kindness and assistance 🙏👏👏👏👏
You are so much more than just a groomer and this poor dog deserves a loving owner. Well done for doing such a fantastic job!
I can't believe how well behaved she is! YAY Didi!!! 🎉 🎊 🎈 Yay!! Thank you so much for cleaning her up and taking care of her!!! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
To those who saved this dog, thanks so much.
So ein glücklicher und dankbarer Hund ❤❤❤
Such a good doggie! Such a gentle groomer! Wishing sweet Didi a speedy recovery...❤
THANK YOU. Because of your love and patience, Didi is safe and happy now.
Thank you all for doing what is best for Didi. Through your care and efforts, she is so much happier.👍👏❤️
Thank you for your kindness and for your meticulous care of sweetheart Didi 🙏❤️😇
Thank you for your attention to this lovely little dog, she deserves better than she got at home, I mean she's a member of their household. Take care.
I'm so glad your compassion urges you to seek the deeper reason and to minister to those needs. Thank you for caring for Didi.
Can't believe it was only two months since last grooming. Looked very neglected.
Dogs like her are groomed every 6 to 8 weeks so it's normal tbh 🤷♀️
It doesn’t look like she is brushed by the owners much. Considering she is regularly groomed
@helentaylor4911 No it doesn't but I don't get why this person is shocked by the 2 months...why I said its normal for dogs to be on a 6 to 8 week schedule for a groom, depending on breed it can be longer than this to 🤷♀️
I agree looks much longer
Awwww such a sweet dog. I believe Didi knew you would take care of everything! You are both heroes ☺️
Thank you for helping her! It is tearful to see how much she is suffering. Has it been two months since you groomed her?? It seems like a long long time has passed since she had your care. This poor dog! Thank you!
Didi was so quiet, even though the foxtails were so many! She was surely very unwell! An infection may have made her less alert 💖💖
You are one smart groomer. Kudos to you for your intuitive skills and caring nature.
God bless you, protect you and reward you for your incredible kindness and love to these precious dogs
Such a sweet pup. You can see her tremble with pain/discomfort. Bless you for taking the time to remove those pesky foxtails!
New sub here. ❤
❤
No way the paws got matted that quickly. No way those paws were trimmed a couple months ago 😢 or those ears.
It was a joy to see you work. You are so gentle and caring..if I was in your country I would be thrilled to have you be my dog’s groomer. ❤❤❤
😍😍😍 Thank youuuu 😁😁😁
Thank you lovely souls for making her better.
You showed so much care and precision cutting the hair
Your gentle touch and attention to detail is amazing.
Thank you so so much for caring for this dog as you did. She seems so melancholy and so well behaved. Again thanks!
Didi looked subdued due to possible depression, was amazingly cooperative, and deserved this pampering care. Am glad to see that she became healed and happy! (I also enjoyed your music.)
Thanks! 🥰
Thank you for taking care of this precious baby ❤ I love the end of the video, so happy she feels so much better!!!
This dog is so sad😢 and looks really unwell.
Thank you for helping this dog.
You are so caring and meticulous with your work. Poor baby is so sad
You two are wonderful and compassionate with how you treat the dogs. Didi is lucky to have you groom her.❤
It's a relief to see owners that care. You are a true blessing to the animals that you come across.
Thank you for helping this angel!
What a sweet girl! Thank you for helping her!!❤❤
I love how kind and gentle you are with her! It’s obvious that she trusts you or she wouldn’t be asleep. ❤
Nunca había visto un perrito tan dulce !!!
Que lindura y que gran trabajo realizaron para ella !
I fell in love with Didi! what a sweet dog and what beautiful care you gave to her... I really enjoyed seeing this even though I cried...
what a wonderful and caring lady you are poor Didi must be so happy now that she has been treated how she should behave a happy. life didi xxx
She looked like she was in pain and feeling miserable. Poor little dog.
Thank you for the lovely work you do, and for explaining the situation with captions. I appreciate the work you both do, to help the dog and to educate us all. I’m sure that many of us viewers, later in life, will know how to take care of dogs because of the information you shared 😊💖
You are such a caring groomer, bless you!
God bless you for taking such good care to Didi.
Dogs of the world are very lucky there are caring people like you folks. The work you both do is wonderful. There are just too many suffering creatures being called pets. Thank you for you efforts to help these poor animals from someone that also cares.
🙏❤️
I've never seen a more well behaved dog! Didi was an angel. And, blessings to you for treating her with such care.
Oh my gosh! I remember seeing his before…. And I love how Didi was so happy in the end! You can tell how much she trusted you to take care of her!!❤❤❤
I’m so glad you took care of her, she’s so beautiful I don’t know but I think that besides being neglected she’s also abuse, she’s to calm and head down all the time, I’m sorry for her😢
I had an American Cocker Spaniel for more than 12 years who I groomed at home for quite a few years. It took me about 2 hours to do a standard groom, but one time she ran through a patch of burrs and it was a nightmare to fix! I can’t imagine what those Foxtail grasses would be like to treat 😓 they look so painful. Keep up the excellent work!
Poor Didi. I love how she takes the time to rest. She obviously feels safe enough to do so. Another amazing transformation.
Thank you to Didi's owners!! She looks amazing. Seeing her healed and happy. Just puts a smile on my face!! Thank you!!
You are blessed. With your love for each other and what you achieve together with the animals in need❤
I think the owners sedated the dog before they brought her to you.
Edit: As usual you did a wonderful job
Agreed! There is no way that dog was not sedated.
That's what I suspected too. Sedation or pain medication. Poor baby.
You guys changed that dog's life, from misery to pure happiness.
🙏❤🐕👌
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for the follow up video- great to see Didi in good spirits!
God bless you! You are doing God's work for that sweet dog.!
Thank you for the great job you did and for caring so much. ❤

Great job, I know Didi is much more comfortable now. Keep up the good work. Your videos are great.
So glad this ended well. Till I watched the end of the video I was going to post that this poor, sweet dog needed to be taken away from her owner. But now knowing that they will keep her inside, and hopefully routinely brushed and groomed, I feel much relief.
she's so sweet, thanks for helping her.
Oh my God, your effort and care was amazing! It is great to see her get help so she could be happy and healthy ❤
I actually had happy tears in my eyes at the totally happy butt wagging end. Thank you for sharing 🥰
Poor thing, she was exhausted and slept throughout the procedure, I think the affection you have for the puppies is incredible (God bless you greatly)❤
What a beautiful and sweet girl. And what a good outcome that the owners try to treat her better now. Let's pray it lasts!
