Thank you .... I didn’t learn to ride till was 60 ..... now 70 and waiting to collect my speed twin next week 😎..... regards Fred .... spot on with your reasoning 👌
I feel the same about riding a motorcycle.I have to ride. And since I...went home to Triumph motorcycles,my riding life is complete.Triumph motorcycles are,to me,the best in the world.
Great description of what many of us bikers feel about riding in general. And having a TTR as well, it's a beautiful beast of a machine that is great to look at and leaves you grinning the whole ride.
Thanks for a nice video. I myself got the standard Thruxton 1200 in white color and love it. I am thinking about getting the fender elimination before the riding season starts here in Minnesota. Would you recommend it?
MN tends to have more weather and dirt on the road then here in SoCal so as long as you are OK with a rooster tail every now and then, I do recommend one. They really clean up the back end. -Kyle
Hi Mark, and hi SCM. A little comment from France. Just perfect video, I share on my Facebook with a comment "Nothing to add. Everything is said. Take care of yourself ..." For summarize, perfect words. Thanks a lot. N.B. : Mark, please, what is the reference of your mirrors, I search the same for my Thrust' black Matt 1200 . Thanks. Have good long and nice ride. Denis
Hi Mark, Thanks a lot for answer and détails .please do You have just install the CRG in place of the Triumph mirrors and conserv the fixation system original and bar ends finishers Triumph ?
Thank you for telling my story. I rode a lot in the 60s and now I'm in my 60s and I've been riding again for about 7,8 years. This Thruxton R is my 5th Triumph in that short time, but this one... this one is the posters I had on the bedroom wall way back then. This one has so much thrust. Hits the ton like a sportsbike but from deep, way down. Different. Looks like a shiny relic, but with Ohlins, Showa, ECU, ABS, TC and all the modern stuff. Spent some time looking at it in the garage last night and we're about to have 10 days of rain here in Oregon. But the rain starts tomorrow. Today I'm taking it out for a long one. Oregon. Coast Range. 2016 Triumph Thruxton R. Excellently produced video - now I'm a subscriber : -)
Thank you for watching. We hope you enjoyed your last ride before the rain spell and, more importantly, we're glad you could relate to Mark's story! Comments like yours keep us going; thanks again!

To be honest your video was much better than Triumphs efforts. Great explanation of why people ride and how motorcycles make you feel.
Thanks Jerry! We're glad you enjoyed watching.

Hang in there; over 50 years riding and the thrill is still there. Even at 72, nothing like rolling on the throttle out of a curve...
nicely narrated and produced. Props.
