What a great wildlife day today was! Owl's always amaze me just thinking how something with that large a wing span can fly through the woods easier than we can walk in a open field, same for wild turkeys. That had to be one of the best bear captures I've seen.
The owls are beautiful! I think the second one was talking to you. I think Chuck should get a new pole or two! It is kind of funny to watch him walk with a pole and a stick. I think you hit the jackpot today for wild life.Glad you made it to the drive-in!
What a fun day! Thank you for showing so much footage of the owl! So cool! Hi Bear! Hey! I did a shakedown hike last weekend on the Colorado Trail. I was coming down off a pass at about 12,000 feet when I see someone coming up that looks familiar... he was wearing a Jolly Gear shirt...the one you (Heather) wears now... Wow! This guy has pants that match! hahahaha! It was JOLLY himself! He even had a backpack made out of that pattern. We chatted for a moment and I must say he was the nicest guy. I heartily shook his hand for the great shirts he makes and we went our opposite directions. I thought of you two. I have a Jolly but I didn't have it on. I fully support his gear though. I will be behind in my comments as my hike continues but know when I have a signal, I will catch up! Colorado Girl
I think you've seen all the wildlife except the moose. Bonus was the Owl. That was new to see on trail. Heavenly Hill Farm and the hot dog vendor will get you every time. Never ate before doing the up Stairway to Heaven, tho, but afterward, for sure. You're gutsy. Another great day. Thanks so much for letting us tag along. Enjoy
Beautiful shot of Mr. Owl ( they are so regal) if you don’t mind, I’d love to paint him using your video. Since rehab (Guillain Barre last October)my hands are slow in catching up….but it could be therapeutic to try. The “VA is flat” myth is definitely confusing. Using the term “myth” is being polite… lol I can see that the rock theory could work… no way with the bugs.. lol I’m so stoked that you are seeing so much wildlife.. that’s part of the treasures on this trail. Be safe wherever you are this day. ✌️🙂💚
