Check out EBay or Venom Motorsports. They use the horizontal "Grom-type" engine. 150cc is the biggest I've seen stock. The Lifan 150cc goes for about $550-600. Get the Lifan 140cc instead for $400, same crank, smaller bore. Since you're going to replace the piston and cylinder anyways, for any power above stock. But, with a bbk (big-bore kit) and a stroker crank, I've seen over 200cc's from these, 235cc at the extreme. If you buy a Lifan (Chinese knock-off of a 'Thai' Honda engine) 90% of the parts will fit from the Honda Grom. Just look for the "horizontal" engines. The bike is around $500 on EBay, less if used. I have a 186cc in mine, bbk with stock-stroke crank. I've hit 88 mph on mine. You'll need the Kitco 4-valve conversion and at least a Mikuni vm28 to see speed like that. That's what I run.
