It’s amazing that Milwaukee can get that much power out of a 12 volt platform!

I was surprised when I heard they were making updates to the m12 battery platform, and now very impressed with the performance I am getting out of these new high outputs.

I'm excited to pick up a few, my installation driver and oscillating multi tool are first in line! Glad to see VCG in the house, much love to the gang.

I’ve seen a few 2.5 comparison videos. So far, yours is the only one that demonstrates practical performance differences. Good job!

Thanks for posting the informative video. For these new batteries is Milwaukee still inflating the Watt-hour ratings as they have done for other M12 batteries in the past? They do not seem to exaggerate the rating for their M18 batteries. For any battery pack the correct Wh rating is given by the nominal voltage multiplied by the Ah capacity. For the M12 batteries they use the peak voltage instead of the nominal voltage and get an inflated result. The correct Wh rating for an M12 battery with 2.5 Ah cells should be 27 Wh. Is that the value marked on the battery you tested?

Well I want to see the new 5.0 HO vs the 6.0. Also want to see the 2.5 HO vs. at 3.0 XC and/or a 4.0 XC...

By the way looks like they make their battery plastic out of ABS/PC or something lesser and now are using Nylon for the battery plastic or a higher end plastic.
