He’s crying about a fabricated interaction with a fictional person that he knows doesn’t exist. This dude is 60+ years old. Absolutely crazy
Absolutely right… he’s crying at a story he just made up; never happened and I wonder if he’s lived his lie for so long that he now actually believes it
@@EmperorMinggno. He doesn’t believe it lmao…and it’s insane to even think someone would begin to believe a deliberate lie like that 😂 he knows he wasn’t a SEAL…he knows he never met a made up instructor. He’s trying to sell it. As most liars do. Saying he might believe it is insulting…like you’re trying to make an excuse for him.
Huge pos. These scumbags needs to be in jail
Remember what George Costanza said, "It's not a lie if you believe it." 🤣
@@EverydayWithBobbysome people (like that guy) are so insane that they trick themselves into believing a complete lie. Now they know it never happened but they live the lie so long they force their own brain to attach emotion to the lie as if it did happen. Gotta remember, for a person to do something so dumb and awful as to lie about being a SEAL (and who knows what else) to their wife and friends, these are not rationally thinking people. They have issues. It’s not making excuses for them, saying that doesn’t make it any less despicable. If anything it makes it worse because they aren’t just telling a white lie they’re living the lie.
I served with this guy on Meal Team 6. He was a POW at McDonald's and MIA at Planet Fitness. He's a real hero.

Good for Don busting these jerks. Keep it up & God Bless.
I served 28 years and am proud of my service ,I was with Army Security Agency,I never bragged about being SF or Army Rangers.,Why bother being a phony.
I'm a Naval Vet. I served 6 years. Medically discharged. Got my ribbon for the campaign. Besides that? Good memories. May not seem like much but I'm proud. Why embellish?
Thank you for your service! God Bless
Thank you for your service. Going into the military and that is enough to be proud of.
It don't matter what you did thanks for serving man
@USAF 8791 would have done 20 standing on my head but alas, medical reasons. Than you.
There is someone who will always call out false claims.
I met a couple of fake Army Rangers. I worked where there were Army Rangers who served from ‘71 until the early 90’s. He bragged about jumping in Grenada. People did the math because he bragged too much. Well his actual DD214 and the one he submitted were different. He was fired.
Why embellish?
Why not just be proud of being a Navy vet who served in Vietnam?? That's enough to be proud of.
Yes, killing innocent people in Vietnam is enough to be proud of.
@Mackatax 1114 DIRTBAG
@@gentlemanandascholar4555 yeah they where all innocent.
@@gentlemanandascholar4555 You’re correct, killing innocent people is nothing to be proud of, why are you all arguing against that? It’s just a shame there weren’t any “innocent people” fighting in Vietnam, only the pieces of garbage were fighting our brave men in Vietnam and exterminating garbage by the bakers dozen in Vietnam is plenty to be proud of! 🤓
service in war time is a complicated thing. each person may or may not be proud of doing the exact same thing. judge not less ye be judged
One of my relatives died years ago. We didn't know his service background when he was alive. He never talked about while alive. When he died his family went thru his military paperwork and his war journal plus his letters he received from fellow combat buddies. He had impressive military decorations and awards. This man here is a fake which insults true heroes who endure the horrors of combat
My Father would never talk about his NAVY service, I only learned the details about his time in WWII after he passed. He went through some very tough times, lost his entire group twice. He was an E-5 Petty Officer Second Class, earned his pilots license in Kansas as an enlisted, fought through the
pacific island hopping. Tough man, great Father.
Same here my dad and his friends never ever ever talked about Vietnam and only found out 90% of their stories after they died. The little I did know was because my dad’s best friend was poisoned from agent orange and they had to fight the government to get them to help him which took up a lot of their time and energy when I was growing up. Whenever I come across people with big mouths especially about Vietnam I instantly don’t believe a word they say.
We thought my mother was USO in WWII after she died I found paperwork. She worked in Naval Intelligence. Doubt anything heavy. But she never mentioned it.
@@luvsilly60, Naval Intelligence is an oxymoron. LOL!
@@luvsilly60 I don’t know. I have heard and read some of the things Naval Intelligence did during the Cold War and before. In some cases, rivaling the CIA and OSS. They even existed before we had a formal intelligence network. So maybe, just maybe, there could be some more to her service. Regardless though, her service during that time, I will hold in high esteem.
What is really sad is ...When Don is gone, the fakes will continue without repercussions..
You are an awesome man Don
Maybe DJ will carry on the torch
So there are phonys in every walk of life from what most would consider good stuff life military, cops, and firefighters to what less people would consider good like drug or criminal game and everything in between. But there are and will be always people to call them out to. 👍
Others will continue the fight. Don is simply leading the way.
I totally agree with that comment
Don and Diane are also entertainers and I wouldn't be surprised if they passed the baton.
My father was an Army veteran and he was never a Green Beret or Ranger. He never lied to me to make me proud. I was so proud that he served this great country that I could care less if he was cook.
It takes ever soldier to accomplish what the army does. From the waste management to Delta. Every soldier has a job. They do it well.
My dad served for a few years before going on partial disability (no bullshit either, he fucked his back up bad .). Nothing special, not a ranger, airborne, etc., but he could spot a bullshiter real quick at the local watering hole.
Damn right and I totally agree with you
Same here. In fact, when I mention my father's stint in the military, I am careful to say he "was in the Army during WWII". Yes, that makes him a veteran, but some people assume that means combat veteran. My father never saw combat, but as "nate4036" here mentions, every soldier has his job and it takes every soldier to accomplish what the army does.
My Dad was drafted in 65. He was a company clerk. He’s a man of honor and never lied about it. He didn’t need to.
Don is always dealing with those James bond 007 classified guys.
Yeah, like “I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you!” Legends in their own minds.

@@hitsquad2149 Yup, we all have to eat and NOT just the Sailors. Amphibious Assault ships have many, many hungry Jarheads on them.
Aviation here...when the ACE came aboard no biggie. But when the MEU was onboard the gyms and galley was always packed with Jarheads enjoying their semi decent hots, and seconds....before going in harms way OEF/OIF.
FYI, Jarhead is an endearing term for a Marine. We give each other so much crap, miss it at sometimes...but the body sure doesn't.

@@hitsquad2149, I'd say in any service.
I was Infantry in the CF, then re-mustered to MSE Op (trucker). Both equally important jobs. I hold those that go into special warfare units in the highest regards, and can understand the allure of people wanting to live the life they imagine them to live, but no one ever SV claims to be a cook, a mechanic, a simple infantryman, etc. They always go for the SF groups not realizing how tight knit and exclusive the membership in those units is. Instead of people SV'ing with EOD, SEAL, Sniper, Pathfinder, or any other specialist unit, how about they use mail clerk, cook, basic infantry, military police, etc to embellish their pathetic lives.
On so many levels this channel is probably the best content on youtube. Period.

“Down Below”, my Father used to refer to it like that. He was in the “black gang”, a motor machinist mate in the engine room, USS Mauna Loa AE-8, WW2. Ship earned 3 battle stars. They had a few close calls in the South Pacific and one didn’t involve the Japanese, December 1944 they almost rolled-over in the Hurricane that was nicknamed “Halsey’s Hurricane”.
This guy is pathetic. Why not be proud of what he did?
And to Mad Mark, your Dad did serve on the frontlines. Anyone on a ship, even in peacetime are always on the front lines.
We all have a lot to be proud of🇺🇸
Amen. Both my great grandfathers served in WWII. One was a seabee and the other was a sailor on the USSF Jeffers. Couldn't be more proud.
I totally agree, I lost three great uncles in the First World War, they were 18,19 and twenty, one uncle was blown up in Portsmouth harbour, he never left England, they were loading ammunition on to the HMS BULLWARK and it went wrong and blew up killing hundreds of young sailors as two warships were tied together, one died in the fields at Gallipoli and my uncle Len who was awarded the military medal, I think it’s about the equivalent of the silver star, he was killed in France charging a German trench, he had already taken out one machine gun crew of two, when the Jerry’s hit him with a shell, I’ve never served but am so proud of those that did, this guy would get a knock on the door if he lived in England, disgrace of a man.
My old man was a B.T as well. Served on DDG 22. 23 years of service. As a " brat" , it afforded me the opportunity to grow up around the world. I'm so thankful and open minded because of that. He was active during conflict. Not sure which war. He never spoke a word of it. Cheers to both our pop's!

There is also the problem that the faker WOULD call the police and Don would end up in jail charged with Destruction of Property, probably with Felony Assault and more than a few other goodies. We ARE talking about the "Left Coast" after all.
Plus he'd open himself up to criminal shit. Theft, destruction of personal property, the guy is a scumbag but technically not illegal to be a man who's full of bullsh!t.
That was hard to watch. But Don is proud of his achievements and his unit. This guy wants to take the ultimate shortcut to achieve what others bled for.
I think he is deluded; he seems to believe what he's saying
Army, or any branch of the military, is not a shortcut to anything, but IS the purpose itself. Annihilating enemies of your country, weakening their ability to achieve destructive aims on your soil - that's the purpose and the glory, believe it or not...People who went through real stuff don't usually tell their experiences to others because those who don't know THAT reality won't be able to even correctly comprehend the situation that person went through...and why would you want to retell your sacred expereinces to clueless people, who won't even be able to relate to it due to their lack of any point of reference. You want people who were never scared to appreciate bravery? They don't know what bravery is! You want blonde chicks with 3.5 cartoons of cultural background to appreciate things that are waaaay beyond their comprehension level. Only a soldier will understand a soldier. imho
Wishing you all the best, fellow American servicemen.

@donut ninja you're horrible lol
Someone who has served should understand how bad stolen Valor is, so it's even worse when stolen Valor comes from a fellow veteran
@Forward Progress The first thing I ask is do you know what a 214 is, if they don't they're not a veteran. I don't understand why the owner of the bar who is a seal would kick you out, you would think he would be the most offended

@@RedScorpionx3 you're not thinking about the big picture. It takes many thousands of support personnel to keep the fighting troops equipped, trained, fed, and ready to put boots on the ground.

God Bless you and also Diane for being Really Clear to the Wife. She needed to hear that from you both!

he could fool people about his service but I dontt think he could fool the government as any claims of medical costs would be checked by VA against his service record. I dont think he could make money from his lies.He just wants the glory and fame pretending to be a Seal.
I read recently how the VA & DoD pay benefits, $ to approx 124 "veterans" who claim to be ex POWs. The army officer, veteran who checked said there are 12 known documented POWs living: 2021.

I’ve seen this kind of thing before. This man served and didn’t get to serve in the capacity he would’ve liked, so he told himself a story that he can feel good about. The only problem is that he has to tell the lies to everyone else so that he can continue to believe it himself. It’s more sad than it is infuriating.

Every rate and mos in our military is important and necessary to keep operations running smooth. Be proud of whatever you did while serving and never embellish your record.
Well, said... every cog is important in the operation of the well oiled and finely tuned war machine.
No air support for the boots on the ground, without ground support...etc.

Don, thank you for service to all the ‘Real’ Navy Seals and thank you for years of service as a Authentic Navy Seal. Much respect from an ex Air Force Service Member.
If Don shows up at your day then it is probably going to be a bad day
That’s so crazy how deep into his own story he is that he almost tears up. Why not just say you a Vietnam veteran and be proud of that.
I find these videos fascinating. I have zero military experience or connections so it's amazing to me that so many people pretend to have been heroes, but I do think it's fantastic that Mr Shipley goes to the lengths he does to track down and expose these compulsive liars.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Eat shit." Best quote ever!
As a former VBA RVSR, I've heard dozens of goofy-ass stories about classified records, typically from AF veterans who were stationed in Thailand, who claimed they were actually special operators. One even claimed to have routinely crossed from Thailand into Viet Nam by rubber boat. I guess he forgot there's another country in between the two. :)

From a vet, Thank you for your service and happy Veterans Day
It’s some serious underlying sickness with these people. I have my successes and my failures. I’m not perfect. But it really takes a curious person to be so absolutely terrified or insecure or something, to not only lie about your life, but to get up in public and bark out a continuous stream of lies and stupidity. Honestly, I truly feel for these people. They were sick or something the day they taught life 101, and now the ONLY way they can live is in a complete fiction. For me, I measure life relative to the day I die. What do I want to see? And I try to live my life now, so I can face my death with honor and integrity. I can’t imagine the depths of sadness and failure they will feel when forced to go eye to eye with their own end. Truly a sadness beyond measure.
I would imagine it could be dangerous going into a mans home and humiliating in front of his wife. He may deserve to be called out but its a wonder that no one has taken it to the extreme so be careful Don.
