NEW ANDIS DOUBLE MAGNETIC GUARD REVIEW

- Опубликовано: 8 ноя 2018
- This is a review of the new Andis double magnetic .5, and 1.5 guards. I will be explaining the pros and cons and the measurements of the guards.
Let me know your guys' thoughts on them in the comments below!
Honestly the new .5 I use it only to blend into the 1 guard if i feel the transition from my blade open to my 1 isnt clean enough. I can blend it without the half guard but using the new .5 is like the safer way to blend into the 1 without raising the fade. Thats what i really think of it as since it doesnt grab all the hair like you said in the video it almost is like texturizing the hair since its not grabbing all of it. Meaning it makes it super easy for me to blend into the 1. I only end up using it on some of my cuts but if you fade like i do i actually like these. The 0 guard is better for just cutting.
Mike I really like your explanation! Looking at it as almost a texturizing than an actual fading guard. Thankyou for the response bro !
Exactly these 0.5 guards are great for fading the 0 guard line very easily, I cut my own hair and these make it much easier getting that line out, I use a Stylecraft Rebel where the lever out of the box opens to 1mm if wide open, these hit the spot that was missing on a 0 guard 1.5mm, fully open would be maxed at 2.5mm and with the 0.5 guard I can set it to 2.75mm with the third lever level, right between the 3mm 1 guard.
Crazy how overlooked these are, cuz they can be pretty usefull, especially for a beginner or someone that sets his own fades at home.
The 0.05 blade is a raking guard it is equivalent to the OA blade on a detachable clipper it is meant to smooth out the hair and to remove the faint line from the zero guard
Alexander Rodriguez thanks for the insight bro! I’ll have to try that out
that. 5 new guard is going to help a lot for that cero line
Great review bro!!!! Make more videos!
@@halowarriornav lmao
Explanation on point. Attention to detail on point. Easy to understand. Overally Great review....one last thing....FTC......played out already? Ok I'll stop. Lol. Bye
would I be able to fade .5 straight into the 1.5?
matt kish if using the masters I’d say yes, because the teeth are a lot longer.
couldnt agree with you more pal
What a better clipper in your opinion masters or magic clip?
Ronnie Tallud every tool has its purpose, I prefer masters for fading or detail work. I use my magics more for setting guidelines and removing bulk
Where did you get the set ??
I know this is an insanely late reply, but if you still want them I got them from amazon lol
use the red speed o guard 1/16th throw the new andis one out
Brook Y. Mesfin why do you say that?
Brook Y. Mesfin nah bro I have the new single magnetic guards and the 1/16 works damn good but that new half guard could be thrown out
why?
You still have that 0 guard with the long teeth
Absolutely
