I just purchased these Oster Classic 76 but wonder what guards will fit these or do I have to buy a separate blade in the size I want?

I have all three guards but always use the wahl premium guards. Thats only because I use two cordless seniors. Although I love the premium guards, I would say that the teeth and overall feel of the double magnetics are better (when used on fast feeds). So I’m thinking of modifying them to fit on my cordless seniors.
I use all the guards. Depending the clipper of course. But as for the 1.5 (1 1/2) guard. I prefer to use the "speed o guide" "0" guard. I feel like they pick up the hair better and help transition the fades better

Just saw a video where andis actually updated the 0 and the 1 single magnetic guards. Now the 1 blends right into the 2 like they SHOULD HAVE done in tbe beginning!! 😡😡. They have the new ines at Sally's

Andis double magnetic guards now has a .5 and a 1 1/2 guard..... people say the andis single magnetic guards suck but they use them wrong... the single magnetic andis guards are for detachable clippers..... i like the premium wahl guards best

Haven’t used either. I have Oster blades with the ceramic cutting blades.

The same way you don’t need the 1 1/2 guard for andis. Doesn’t that also mean that you don’t need the half guard ? Because can’t you just open the blade all the way up up to the one. For example maneuvering the taper lever giving you the 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and the full 1 lever all the way open ? So is the half guard really needed ??

No u don’t need half guard.... but If want u can but I recommend using half guard for beginners barbers ..... becuase is really hard with no half guard so. personally I don’t use half guard i used no guard open using the back side of the blade ... and bammm the line is gone blended but if u see like little bit line or shadow line just go halfway lever and just the corner of the blade.... i used 1 guard, 2 guard , and maybe 3 guard but ..... after 2 guard clipper overcome ... but yes u don’t have to used half guard ... !!! ( !!! so no guard lever open is a 1 )!!!!

Purple magnetic Andis guards fit the master perfect but then again that's the clipper they're made for🤣, seriously though use them they're great.

Valentini Gotti thats because the fast feeds have a pivot motor they have less power so you find yourself going over it more than a clipper with a magnetic motor

Andis premium guards are my new favorites.
@HONESTO UNO Idk if they'll fit the fast feeds.but they fit nice and tight on my masters, so I would say they are as good as the magnetic guards.

What’s up boss man, I only use the andis masters and the wahl seniors. Is there a clipper guard that works with both clippers. I stopped using the speedo guide because the triple 000 or 1/16th red guard always breaks at the teeth. I have bought about 10 pairs of Speedo guides. They are complete trash when it comes to build quality
You can modify the double magnetics to fit both. The Wahl guards are too small to fit on Andis blades
How is the modification done?
Go to RUclips Barber Academy’s channel and he has a video on how he did it. I’ve seen a few other ways, but you don’t wanna go through that. It calls for modifying and drilling the blade itself.

Dont buy those magnet guards they are pieces of shits. Personally they break and the magnets fall off all the time its annoying. Also the guards move around like wtf!!!!! I fucked my head up with it
