They don’t. Many jazz musicians get together and don’t even know each other, we count 1234 and Jam and people think we’ve rehearsed for days. That’s what jazz is all about!! 12 bar blues and Play !!

Jazz groups only rehearse if there’s gonna be brand-new original compositions being played or a radical new arrangement of an old song. In general, very little rehearsal is needed for a regular gig.

that s a much better mix, piano in solo could have little more, same level as kurts solo, why not? it s as least the same quality, thanks for all nice postings here Anton Goldsmit deserves more volume, in tribute to wes, or rest band softer, like it was normal in the 50 ties and sixties till 68/69 Woodstock.
