Peter Beets - piano
Kurt Rosenwinkel - guitar
Frans van Geest - double bass
Joost Patocka - drums
Yet, just one more reason I'm proud to be a human being... What a great band!
That pianist reminds me a lot of Kenny kirkland… Heavy lines (not in a bad way) and very percussive. I love it !
Phenomenal bassist.
Underneath the song driving it, absolutely !!
These guys just can't play, can they.
La misma impronta de Coltrane el manejo de las escalas y la polirritmia son tremendas Kurt un conocedor de Coltrane

Everybody's playing brilliantly - what a great live experience it must have been!
I love the chords in the left hand during the solo of Peter Beets! hij heeft écht "beet" daar! zThat way Coltrane Changes do sound extremely Hip!

Killer rhythm section. Great to hear that solo by Kurt!
Powerful notes by P. Beets with the trio! Kurt skillful chords on guitar! Greetings from Jazzman Kuala Lumpur.
Really amazing! Wow
Excellent tone, articulation, note choice, phrasing, rhythm, use of silence, and of course amazing band.
Beautiful!
Me: "Well, I know all the Coltrane tunes I'll never master at speed"
These guys: "Hold my beer"

Muy bien.

Vierkanthof Düsseldorf to head out in that moment!!!!
this is a HARD tune-i wrote a chart from the coltrane recording and i've been making everybody i play with do it for the better part of a year--rosenwinkel is amazingly facile-right on top of every chord change
Luckily it's also a really fun tune to play over with a catchy melody.
Bill Evans' equivalent of "Giant Steps"
A beautiful exposition of minor melodic harmony at what, 280 bpm?
min 06:43 giant steps???
Oh Peter ik zie dat dit jou gmail adres is okay gecomplimenteerd! Hoor ik het goed dat je een soort octatonische linker hand substitutie's toepast wellicht chromatisch oplossend/
