Fixing a Microwave that Intermittently Won't Turn On

Our LG microwave would intermittently not start the actual microwave magnetron, the timer would count down, but it would not actually heat up food. Giving the door a good tap would make it fully function. In this video, I troubleshoot and fix this problem without having to buy any new parts.

Step 1 to fix something - turn it off and on
Step 2 if step 1 doesn't work - slam it around until it does :)
