I recall some heavy tank can have decently fast speed. Even from my experience Tiger H1 can reach 40ish kph which isn't a lot but really fast for a 55 tons of unreliable box
Man forgets the chess master heavy tank players, either outplaying the enemy 6 step ahead of them, or staring at the bomb that fell in your head with a heavy sigh.
Warthunder is legitimately just chess everyone is a rook or bishop if your teammates cover you and pin down enemies you are safe, I legitimately think of warthunder as chess somtimes
@Personontheinternet4598 well now that's just an opinion each role is important on the battlefield, if there were to many snipers no objectives would be captured if to many recon teams you would inevitably over extend and quickly be flanked. You need a mix of all tipes to make a well and cohesive team. Can't win wars on luck alone.

@@marcosrogeriomahadodasilva823 have you ever heard of a medium tank? and of those two choices i choose the one with mobility. going slow is the 9th circle of hell. id trade armor for size and mobility any day. i think the best way to change your mind on this would be to have you play the ush-405. it can be penned by a .50 cal but it has an absolutely overpowered cannon(rocket Launcher) and insane mobility
I am the “fight everything I see” because I would rather fight and lose than be useless. Even if I take just a few people down to a lower altitude and clip one with a 20mm I consider it a success. More often than not though, the awareness switch flicks on in my brain and I all of a sudden figure out how to fly my plane like an ace pilot
let's go brother, that's a true Ace as i spade all the vehicles i own i did bomb in bombers, but never in ground attackers (air spawn is OP) last bomber i played was the PBY-5A premium in the French tech tree (i collect the French premium planes, don't ask a man the reason of his obsession) and i got so tired of bombing i started dogfighting people with it (and got a 1.8 KD lmfao)
I love taking on dogfights, I don't destroy every base cus its boring to fly all the way to it, and everyone is gonna aim at you. So taking on dogfights is way better. In my opinion
The Mark IX Spitfire will always hold a special place in my heart. I absolutely adore it. I've come out alive of many 2v1s or 3v1s thanks to the incredible turn time and the Hispanos of Death. In my experience the only things that can top a Spitfire are the Zeros and the f*cking Yak 3 😤
For me it's variable in Air Battles.. - AAB: probably untouched since 2020..? - ARB: Adaptive dogfighter, from Banzai to rate battles? Count me in. - ASB: either one of two choices: Base bomber, Enemy AI Banger, and Zone Capturer for PvE situation or.. Go all in or nothing for Dogfights in PvP situation.
Well its not fun if enemy have latest top of the line missile while I'm stuck with trashy missile until I get the missile So I can understand the sentiment though screw those F-4S player that only carry bombs

@@cardiv5zuikaku944 stock grind is fun grind, although agreed too long there is nothing funnier than AIM-9B'ing an A-10 or Magic 1'ing an F-15 in a stock Mirage III and Mirage 2000 plus it gets you to use your guns and learn to dodge missiles instead of flinging Phoenixes and RTB like a flight sim wannabe it takes you back to monkey, isn't that what we all wanted?
Honestly, I play like I attack everyone in war thunder **MOBILE** and in actual war thunder I bomb bases because it’s hard to dogfight with controller but I’ll still fight some
I've been playing this game since 2013 and yeah I'm the dogfight everything no matter what I'm in even a bomber. At this point I'm just bored most of the time and a dogfight is always fun lol. I will say though when I was starting this game I did a lot of bombing, back then I was in college and I had to use a trackpad a lot of the time so it was the only option. I quite enjoyed it :) One thing that I'll say though is I only have one dogfight in my entire memory of playing war thunder that I truly remember. That was when I was studying fighter maneuvers and suddenly I understood how to use my plane to its advantages and how to counter the plane I was fighting. It was like a whole new world was opened up to me.
The dogfight I remember most was when a Zero on the enemy team who had I wanna say 5 kills, tried to pull up on me in my B-34. I saw him come in, pulled around as hard as I could while my gunners dealt with him. He took a couple hits and backed off, so I lined him up with the lead indicator and let ‘er rip. He went down harder than a lagging F-16
me and my m18 always up to shenanigans either dying instantly or killing someone in the funniest way. The only thing keeping me from having to check into an asylum
One of my favorite sniping tanks is the ARL. At its BR a well-placed shot will shred through any armor. And with its high velocity the weak points are super easy to hit
as an Italian main who basically only option is sniping besides no armor, patience almost never pays off. Or at least doesn't pay enough, you sit there get maybe 2-3 kills then get revenge bombed because you can't move while waiting on someone or You'll miss them
What about us objective-focused ground players? Focusing on map control and holding points rather than racking up kills, and adjusting to the situation (if map control requires sniping, we snipe; if it requires reaching it quickly, a speedy light vehicle; if it's going to be CQB, brawling in heavy armor; if it's against mid-tier America or high-tier Russia, getting bombed as soon as we do anything).

Sometimes you get intercepted in a heavy bomber. And sometimes the fighters aren't ready for an aggressive bomber to start a dogfight with them.
