I played in a group of four B1bis with friends. Two blocking a street, two other in an other street. Very anticlimatic 😅 It could be fun. A kind of "wall of steel"
If you can find enough people with the BM-31, the big Katyusha, it could be really cool to rain destruction across the battlefield. Bonus points if it’s top tier and you have a scout drone IFV helping you target
Its not easy since the War Thunder replay is dogshit. I really wish the replay in War Thunder was as good as the replay system in World of Tanks. In world of tanks you can control the entire replay with just arrow keys and the mouse making for a very intuitive experience. In War Thunder you have that fucked up camera system and clunky replay hud that you have to click on stuff.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen something that so perfectly captures the energy of the History Channel’s old Dogfights series as the cinematics in this does
you looked like a general witnessing his army being defeated, surrounded by corpses of your loyal men who are dead and dying. all you could see is gunpowder, steel, and blood. you stare at them as you wait for your turn. then the bomb lands next to you.
Great video, put a nice smile on my face after so long; but are we gonna talk about 2:25 ? The way that spitfire has it's wings above the video frame is just sublime, absolute well done, i love this kind of video editing. Keep up the good job !
I loved playing in these battles. Warthunder can really be such a mundane grindfest. But playing in these battles really do put the fun back in Warthunder again and who doesn't love a good formation of bombers. Would love to see some swordfishes sink an Admiral Hipper with Sabaton's Bismark as the music. Also that stealthpro guy seems pretty cool.
I go to see a lancaster taxi around a runway every few years and it is so amazing. It sadly won’t be able to take off for the next few years because it’s so old and damaged but it should be able to take off without bursting into flames within the next few years
I was watching a streamer when you guys got in his match. It wasn’t featured in the vid, but he was in the Japanese plane that killed one of you guys on the ash map. Sad to see it wasn’t featured but cool to see that it came to a video!
ive seen quite a few of these but this is the first one that has legitimately brought me to tears at the beauty of the shots. that mayday was a cherry on top. legendary cinematography.
Man the Lancaster is pretty much my favourite bomber, here in Aus we’ve got one of the last 2 surviving Lancaster “G for George” and by god is it one impressive beast to see sitting on its pedestal dwarfing every other aircraft in the building
Next time set bomb fuze to 10 second. It's a brilliant moment when you see a bomb drop on your tank, and it does not detonate... by the time you realize you could have driven off, it's too late.
Lead pilot, it was called master deputy bomber. My Grandfather from NZ flew 64 ops in 622 main force Stirlings & 7th pathfinder squadron. They use to hang around target for 20 mins to mark with flares. Two complete tours. The pilot lived till 96 & flew for qantas. Got my grandfathers log book its amazing how they survived.
I discovered your content through the shorts you publish every now and then. Your edits are really really good and catchy, the dive bombing ones always give me the chills. You're doing a great job!
I don't think I've ever watched a video from a short before, but I grant you the highest honor I can bestow upon you. This is a perfect video to watch while eating dinner.
Always wanted to get a big group to be able to do this. Most of got were 4 but one of us always gets shot down before we make it. Still beautiful to see 3 Lancaster’s just flatten a entire objective
The thing is with the pe-8 or lancaster, if you see it in the sky, theres no question what its carrying. You know they’re either about to kill your whole team or get kicked from the match for teamkilling if they make it
when you give countdowns for synchronized take offs, you need to anticipate latency and actualy start a fraction of a second after you finish your countdown. seems minor but makes the world of difference for cinimatic stuff
Thats super cool, would love to experience that in a game, but i think it would be way cooler if u flew high above the ground + u would survive maybe 2 runs.
If you fly into the Hamilton airport and go to the Hamilton Heritage Warplane Museum. I think sometimes in the summer, you can pay to fly in a Lancaster bomber. I saw a video about it
I love your cinematics, it always looks great and something from the official WT channel. But i dont get a thing, Why You Always fly so low? Isn't more dangerous that way?
Hope you guys enjoy the long form content! What Should I do next?
Yes, I know about the spelling error
I played in a group of four B1bis with friends. Two blocking a street, two other in an other street. Very anticlimatic 😅
It could be fun. A kind of "wall of steel"
Bring a bunch of RBT-5s to top tier and bully premium players
If you can find enough people with the BM-31, the big Katyusha, it could be really cool to rain destruction across the battlefield. Bonus points if it’s top tier and you have a scout drone IFV helping you target
idk maybe do 335's or a formation of he 177 or me264
Play a group of sturmtigers
That would be awesome!
That would be awesome
That's 19 Siege Mortars and it's a wonderful series
Yeah such a nice idea!@@SmalltownRc18184
So when the sturmtiger first came out basically
THE SPITFIRE CAME OUT OF THE SCREEN HOOLLYYYY
It looked like 8K.
Like the tuna in life of pi.
Holy shit the cinematics, I didnt even know it was possible to get WT to look that good

Never seen a WT teaser?
We need a tutorial!!
The edit was good, but the short with skyfall (same edit, different music) was better.
@@_gungrave_6802 Bro exactly, it's hard to work with free camera in replay. I've made a few edits like these but not as good as this guy
The first convoy of lancasters and the cinematic that followed has got to be the best!
Dude it was straight out of a movie
Best movie of al time
i actually thought it was a clip from a movie for just a second
@@sliceofbread2611 same. I thought he was just gonna show a clip of a movie as a comparison kinda thing, but no, that was warthunder, somehow.
Pov: what spookston sees every time he breathes
Good.
Good.
Good.
Good
Good.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen something that so perfectly captures the energy of the History Channel’s old Dogfights series as the cinematics in this does
You’re giving War Thunder better advertisement than any actual RUclips sponsor I’ve ever seen
6:46 the bomb hitting the lower lancaster on the way down lmao
Bombers intercepting bombs
@@USSWisconsin I just stumbled upon here.
*doink*
@@jdmdosjskWendlingI thought ur PFP was Germany from 1941-1945
Lol
At 3:11 you can actually see my Tog II in frame. Middle of the screen, it's the white thing surrounded by a bunch of dead tanks.
I didn’t notice that cool
you looked like a general witnessing his army being defeated, surrounded by corpses of your loyal men who are dead and dying. all you could see is gunpowder, steel, and blood. you stare at them as you wait for your turn. then the bomb lands next to you.
@@AyedRUclipsI was surrounded with friend and foe, holding the line and waiting reinforcements.
Bro, the formation getting attacked might have been unscripted, but it created one of the best WT shorts I have ever seen
Imagine just playing a game and seeing 8 12000pound bombs coming at you
"Sigh, and I was using a 500% booster as well. typical"
Hits pause, quit game, take penalty. Im not going out by 96000lbs of bombs. Lol
Salute and respect the work that went into it.
Then enjoy the rare spectacle.
Spookston POV:
Me : 0_0
The Spitfire was a 16:9 enjoyer, he didn't wanna be in that cinematic aspect ration
Great video, put a nice smile on my face after so long; but are we gonna talk about 2:25 ? The way that spitfire has it's wings above the video frame is just sublime, absolute well done, i love this kind of video editing. Keep up the good job !

You should bring the F111 Aardvark with the 750lb bomb load
@@KaZaKaTaKI think they did that already and it crashed the console players out of the game.
"There are enemies in that town private"
"Copy removing the town"
Just like Harris intended
Wouldnt be a private... but any other rank would also be too original for the joke.
Dude these shorts and the original vids are some of the best war Thunder content I’ve seen, like DAMN this was a masterpiece. Keep it up!
2:26 DAAAAANG THAT EDIT WAS INSANE
Meanwhile the mayor of Dresden is wondering what that heavy droning sound is.
The use of cinematics is awesome af. Your content really stands out!
That cinematic was epic, that 3D effect was nuts
The friendly spitfire really adds something to the cinematics
2:37 Is Cinematic as hell
96,000 pounds of tea!? I love this video! >:D
I go to see a lancaster taxi around a runway every few years and it is so amazing. It sadly won’t be able to take off for the next few years because it’s so old and damaged but it should be able to take off without bursting into flames within the next few years
One Lancaster is a nightmare in GRB. But eight? That is lifelong PTSD.
6:02 When y'all start going "Yes, Rixat!", it sounds like you're cheering Brexit 😂
This guy just makes the most top tier cinematic shit I’ve ever seen in my life
I was watching a streamer when you guys got in his match. It wasn’t featured in the vid, but he was in the Japanese plane that killed one of you guys on the ash map. Sad to see it wasn’t featured but cool to see that it came to a video!
Just the cinematic alone made the video worth watching.
ive seen quite a few of these but this is the first one that has legitimately brought me to tears at the beauty of the shots. that mayday was a cherry on top. legendary cinematography.

Got my grandfathers log book its amazing how they survived.
That first drop was so cinematic, including the cinematic of that drop. I love it.
That spitfire forgot about the 4th wall and got put of the short , damn
That first cinematic didn’t have to go so hard.
This is literally better than most movies
Dude being on the opposing team would be terrifying. Also historically accurate bomber formation
That cinematic piece was so good. Its better than all the movies produced this decade
Tbh this guys editing skills is one of the best thing i saw
editing was seriously good
3:11 has got to be my favorite shot!
that moment the plane popped over the letterboxing in the first cinematic moment was SO cool!
historically accurate Lancaster casualty rate

Wow, that cinematic got my sub. I wonder if i could make my failed games look so good as a little movie.
6:31 very appropriate tag for the situation at hand
That delay at the end was criminal 🤣 the shockwave over pressured you xD
I don't think I've ever watched a video from a short before, but I grant you the highest honor I can bestow upon you. This is a perfect video to watch while eating dinner.
2:22 Really liked how the fighters wing went on the black bar
Basement Guy calls it the ‘British Lake Maker’ for a reason.
yall dropped a combined total of almost 43 tonnes of bombs if i did my math correctly.
Woah, that cinematic was insane. Had no idea you could make a visual like that in WT
Always wanted to get a big group to be able to do this. Most of got were 4 but one of us always gets shot down before we make it. Still beautiful to see 3 Lancaster’s just flatten a entire objective
Yo this editing is insane!!
Hello! This is my first introduction to you’re channel and I must say, that cinematic felt like it was from ol Battlefield. Keep up the amazing work!
2:15 best edit

Dude that was some of the best cinematics I have ever seen
"why are you in front, why are you faster" to the guy taking off without flaps while the one asking has flaps

Ive been taking lancasters and stirlings into ground rb for years
Those cinematics are incredible
i love the cinematics you do man theyre awesome

this just proves how cinematic WT really is
That Magic School bus joke at the beginning KILLED me😂😂
What if you guys did some kind of group indirect artillery like with the bm-13
One of the best WT clip and edit

Flight of ground pounding AM-1s with P-51 support
