Personally, I think you should say 'BEAUTIFUL' as often you want! Why not, for goodness sake!!!!!...Your videos are great and always interesting. Well done... Ann (Canada)
I'm 76 but when I was young we definately played with marbles and when we outgrew (?) them our parents would put them in flower pots or fish aquariums. My brother and I would use them in our homemade slingshots. I guess we scattered a few thousand of them all around the countryside.
I remember when my son was younger I take him out with me along our local river with his friends, river caldew in Carlisle & Eden, they found clay pipe with the stem on, codd bottles which have local names on, fossils, they would take them into school to show the teachers and classmates. They are 21years old now & still have them
Kate, you are so beautiful, in every aspect, outside and inside! I also really love your leather bag, its amazing!! As always, I throughly enjoyed joining you two on your lark outing! I genuinely look forward to every new video because of yalls amazing energy! I hope you both have a wonderful week!
I'm here for the delightful giggling between Fleur and Kate.... and the amazing finds!! Thank you for another wonderful video.❤ Hugs to Sunny Cat and Oscar... where ever he is. ❤
Oh! How did you know I needed a trip to Gobby Beach? And beautiful music and photography and tiny treasures! I love when you find gobbies and the mourning buttons.Thank you for the laughter and the calming effect you always bring!
Budden and Biggs makes me think of 'Boggis and Bunce and Bean' .. for all you Roald Dahl fans out there 😊 ... and I really like your porcelain wood piece too, feels like it needs a face painted on it🗿.... lovely lark as always 💚💜
That marble, the white one. I don't think it's a marble actually. It has an opal spark inside when you roll it in your hand. It might be a piece of something big.
In some places in the US boys used marbles as sling shot ammunition. That’s why they sometimes turn up In odd places. Sadly back in the day they were often used to bring down birds that were bothering crops. But others just shot them for no reason whatsoever. I know some were quite good at using a sling shot. I was reared on a farm and would often find stone and glass marbles while field walking looking for fossils, arrowheads and horse shoes.
Always a pleasure to see your lovely videos. I really enjoy the mix of ' treasure ' and history, blended with your charming narrative. Thanks for posting these videos 😘
Oh my, after all this time I wondered what a 'gobby' was until you described the game. Here in New Zealand we call the game 'knucklebones', yet using a knuckle shape. Mystery solved, yay ❤
Some lovely finds and good history and I think those stamps in the account book were receipts. I can remember my grandad putting stamps on receipts and signing paid across them. thank you for another entertaining video. Love to all of you. xxxxx
Yay, my 2 favourite Lovelies with another mudlarking adventure with lots of little treasures ❤❤❤ a great way to relax after working all day 🥰🥰🥰 thank you
Every time I watch your video's, i can hear my late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet.
You could’ve used that little tiny bottle that had three sides of glass. The top was still on it. It would’ve worked for an outdoor light on one of the dollhouses. Keep that in mind.
Some nice old favourites and a few oddities...is it possible that the multi-coloured marble is a sea worn opal marble....the only unnecessary word is apologize...if you think everything is beautiful then it's beautiful..just like you two sweet ladies...looking forward to next week ...Karl from eastern Canada❤❤❤🍁🍁🍁
I bet if you look around, you could find the pieces of the broken things you find. You'll like this: When I was a kid, I was digging out a bottle pit in my backyard. I found a about a quarter of a Southern Pacific Railroad Dining Car service dinner plate. Well, I kept it. Years later, about half a mile from my house, I was walking with my dad along a section of the railroad that had just been torn up by a tractor. Among the cool things we found, I spotted a piece of a dinner plate in the dirt. Would you believe it was another SP Dining Car service plate?! This one had yellow flowers on it. My first one had red ones. So I put it with my other one when I got it home. ...And found out it FITTED TOGETHER WITH THE OTHER ONE!! 😮 Now what are the odds that those two pieces would ever be together again? Remember, half a mile apart, one two feet underground in my backyard, the other buried along the railroad tracks, AND, having been so since the 1930s. Pretty cool, huh? I still have the first piece, but the other one vanished for some reason. But I swear this really happened. Oh, the reason for the difference of the flowers was there were three different kinds of flowers relating to California on the plate.
Your stormy mudlarking made my day…and I love the smiling sun on Glas very much… in the middle of the video I see a sherd with made in germany. So greetings from Germany …thanks for sharing
Unusual and beautiful finds ladies, the white marble could it be some kind of quartz?, when you were moving it around it looked like it was sparkling a bit, interesting shared story too, tfs x Julie
I just found this one. I watched a newer one earlier today. At 1:12 when you have found the Gobby there is what looks to be a coin at the top left of your hand. You can see it several times.I enjoy watching you two. When you're swirling the large marble a tiny flash appears off it.
I am no expert but I’m remembering something like carnivalware that was made from a white opal lookig glass. I remember seeing a piece that was shaped like a frilly little basket that you’d put on your dressing table with little flowers. The glass has as you described a clear quality with white as the main element. Then there were tiny swirls o blue and yellow that gave it that opal quality. Nice video as always.
Hi ladies a lovely muddy lark . my great grandfather worked for another Nepicar near Wrotham ( pronounced route ham)brewery , run by a Mr w Morgan, he later ran the Good intent pub at pizien well, another of your larking spots. I think the old pub is now a cottage now 😂
If the marble turns orange when held up to the light it is opalescent glass. The yellow might be Uranium content, it may glow bright green under UV light.
I found a mourning button yesterday whilst field walking, also another glass bead to add to my collection, i also found a man in the field😂,he ended up searching with me and chatting about the things ive found and hes now thinking of getting a metal detector! Thats the first time ive found a man in the field though, you find allsorts honestly!
Fantastic work finding things in the mud! Lots of treasures, I think I would have given up 😂😂 I’m not good at finding anything. Great day ladies ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
I was thinking about the dolls broke off leg and the Para Olympics and maybe you could find the right bit of metal and make a springy leg for a doll like the athlete's use for the races.
You should see if there is any archaeology digs near you that you can help. In Cumbria we have x3 (1) Carlisle cricket club, ( 2) Appleby Cumbria (3) vindalando Cumbria on the Hadrian's wall, anyone can help.

Didn’t want to suggest the tin, but in the military one could be in big trouble for getting into medical problems relating to failure to be able to report for duty. Maybe even severe sunburn on leave. No room for goofing around.
With the sun face, you can put something white or clear right above him like he peeking out from under a cloud....in your glass project.
If something is beautiful never apologize for saying it over and over ❤❤❤ We agree it's all beautiful 🥰🥰🥰

I thought the marble looked opal. It's very beautiful.

I always look forward to seeing Kate's outfits. They're just so cool.
Would love a quick video on people playing the game with jacks in your history 👍
I love it when your finds are covered in mud and it's such a surprise to see what it is ! ❤
I'm here for the delightful giggling between Fleur and Kate.... and the amazing finds!! Thank you for another wonderful video.❤ Hugs to Sunny Cat and Oscar... where ever he is. ❤
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ❤...that marble definitely looks opaline to me !

Yay!!! My favorite larking ladies with another adventure for us!!!! Thank you!!!❤❤❤
At 26m you both have the same beautiful laugh! I adore that!!
That marble, the white one. I don't think it's a marble actually. It has an opal spark inside when you roll it in your hand. It might be a piece of something big.
I think it looks more like a moonstone than an opal. Polished up, it may show more of what it is.
Uranium glass?
@@debrachewning1311 maybe. But definitely not just a glass marble
Not a marble. It does have an opal look to it.

Steam is often used in brewing to soften the grains used.

The marble looks like it's made of opal
Thank you loved it xxx
Total guess the white glass may be a hat pin . Love watching two ladies doing your favorite things.
Always waiting for the notice of a new video thank you for sharing your treasures with us
Love you ladies☮️🦋💜
Cool video, cool moth. Thanks.
Your big marble glitters in the light. Both gobbies are very cool.
What a lucky shot of getting the moth molting from its cocoon.
Your glass sun, just means it's partly cloudy!!😂😂😂
Nothing good on the two round metal discs that you each found??
The French Jet buttons 😍 Wonderful lark ladies!!
Another successful day out on gobby beach with some great finds. Take care and thank you for sharing and the knowledge of the bottle stop. 👏🙏❤️
Yay, my 2 favourite Lovelies with another mudlarking adventure with lots of little treasures ❤❤❤ a great way to relax after working all day 🥰🥰🥰 thank you

Unusual and beautiful finds ladies, the white marble could it be some kind of quartz?, when you were moving it around it looked like it was sparkling a bit, interesting shared story too, tfs x Julie
There’s always treasure after a storm ⛈️
thank you ladies you made my day
Opalite marble
Oo. That portion of pipe bowl would have been perfect to make a duck decoy.😊
That piece of glass that you thought was stone. I think it was a tear drop with a purple hue that you could have made into a necklace
I was thinking that too it was already a lovely shape
Is the marble quartz…it sparkles.
Always a good day when you post!❤❤❤❤❤
I also think your white marble has opalescent tones. I would have that checked by an expert. Love your finds.
You could make a table with the bottle stops. Use them as legs for the table. And put something on top of the flat part.
I just found this one. I watched a newer one earlier today.

Thanks for another wonderful video ladies ❤❤❤🎉
The glass sun was very appropriate for that mudlarking day. The pics of the wild flowers were treat, beautiful.
Love the green and red glass finds! My favorite are always the black glass/mourning buttons!
I love the different shaped glass stoppers
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for another lovely video. Cheers..
I love your "stories" content.
Goby beach is always full of treasures.
Wonderful video! Thanks so much 😊😊😊 great finds 😀
I'm sure with both of your artistic talent you could paint something on a lid.

Marble is called Vaseline glass
Wow you guys get an "E" for effort. It looks like a real tough day to mudlark! Great job!
We have to buy bottle stoppers like that over here in Texas in antique shops. Pick them all up and fill glass jars.
What a beautiful life you have

Theres an old marble called " clams broth" it really looks like one, which are expensive ✨💖
Shiny piece of stone looked like flint or black onyx or obsidian .
I found a mourning button yesterday whilst field walking, also another glass bead to add to my collection, i also found a man in the field😂,he ended up searching with me and chatting about the things ive found and hes now thinking of getting a metal detector! Thats the first time ive found a man in the field though, you find allsorts honestly!
thanx!
The the first one that Fleur found.😊
Have you used broken doll limbs to make a sort of claw chair? Maybe a bit dark but I think it could be cool :)
Wonderful finds . I enjoyed the video and seeing you all again your friend shirley from new Bern, north carolina u.s.a. ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😮🎉🎉😮😅❤❤
So much fun! Thank you ladies for taking us along ❤
Fun!
Did you notice the. N at the bottom of the sun burst. So....I think it was a compass of sorts. Will you restore it to add the w,e and s ,?
I love your stopper story! You two make me smile!❤❤❤ ❤🇺🇸
Maybe they had a steam engine to make the beer/ stout / ale, ???
The finds are so colourful. I love them so much. Thank you 😊

That white marble is opalite, Google natural opalite ok....not the man made kind.
I so wish I could come out with y'all sometime.😊

2 matching doll legs painted up can be a pair of boots in a scene.
Great find ladies love watching yall my favorite find there is green sun face .😊😊😊😊
