Lovely calming video. The W & N bottle you rejected was probably Windsor and Newton artist materials. Probably contained masking fluid looking at the colour. The price on the Birds Eye peas would have been 16 shillings and six-pence, roughly 82 pence - Inflation plus time value of money…. And if you do something with those old packets you will be entering the realms of pop-art. Video enjoyed😊
Maybe invest in a small plastic sled you two can carry between you on your way to and from a mudlarking. One of you could then drag it over the sandier or grassier parts of the beach. It could also transport your equipment😊
THE DOLLS HEAD WAS SO DIRTY AND TURNED OUT SO WHITE IT IS SO CUTE IT IS SO SUPRISING HOW EASY YOU CAN SPOT THINGS BUT I GUESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF PRACTICE AND THEN YOU HAVE YOUR CAMERAS AND THAT HELPS I LOVE HOW YOU TWO GET ALONG SO GREAT AND HAVE SO MUCH FUN.
i'd keep the veggie bags & fabric too. my family can't stand my magpie ways, but all those little bits are are there when i need them as you do too. love the babies head, too cute. thanx for your videos, so relaxing & great fun seeing what u find.
Fleur and Kate, I think the garden peas were from the Birdseye frozen foods company, I recognized the bird looking logo in the blue oval. Wonderful finds on this site ladies. Congratulations on your allotment garden plot; the sweetpea flowers are lovely, just like the two of you ladies. I was curious about Alley Soper, so I looked up the name and my search showed a correction to my spelling. . .Alley Sloper. I learned something about the comic strip character: he listened at doorways & peeped through keyholes and was generally a ne'er do well type. The marble is very pretty with its swirls and bubbles. The crown cap badge (?) and the marcasite clasp/buckle are terrific finds as well. I love your and the Northern Mudlarks's videos the best. It's a pleasure to be able to travel to your neck of the world vicariously through your RUclips videos until I can get there in reality. Greetings and good vibes from North Carolina! 😊🥰😊
I like your videos because they’re always new and not recut old ones! I love your adventures and the things you take for craft! It always inspires me to make stuff! 👏👏👏
The pics of those lovely wild flowers was the perfect lead in to another enjoyable lark. Beautiful marble Kate, the white streaks against that deep amber colour were an inspired combination. regarding your light bulb, perhaps you could drill out the top, remove the filament and insert a tiny wheat bulb, would enhance the Christmas tree. Nice selection of materials Fleur. Glad to hear your allotment is starting to produce the goods, evidenced by those pretty flowers in the gorgeous earthenware jar. Sunny cat is looking fit and mischievous!
Watching your video I can hear my late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet
Could u make glass animals or the things you find. Dice. Dolls cups ECT Flowers . One day I'm going to a beach and mudlark. On my wish list. Love all you do xxxx
Yay! You got an allotment. I live in the desert. Its so dry here that we really dont garden much anymore because water is so valuable. We need it for drinking. I remember what sweet peas smelled like from Grandmas garden. So sweet. 😊
Such a pretty marble! I absolutely love sweet peas. Our weather doesn't allow for them to grow properly here as they don't like the heat. My dad always grew them in my childhood home in New Hampshire. They do smell scrumptious!!
Both you ladies have lovely nails .... I think it's the first time I haven't seen them painted 💅 great finds! I would love to see your allotment to see what you're growing.... Are you canning anything? Do you grow herbs? And I simply love picnics and would like to know what your favorite sandwich is to pack to take larking or to your allotment if you're spending the day there.... I know I have many questions I live in Indiana in the united states', but I wish I were there 😢
Great to see Sunny sunning himself, bet he's loving this Heatwave. I feed a lot of strays each morning and recently a large hedgehog has been joining them. With this searing hot weather suspect you'll be back mudlarking in a river to cool off a bit. P. S. I recognise those vegetable bags from Bejams, frozen food shop before Iceland.
I think the small clear ground glass thing is a checker. I bought my grandson a checkers set years ago and there were black checkers and clear checkers. Love your adventures. I wish Texas had somewhere to mudlark.
That beach is a treasure trove. Oscar should start his allotment adventures as you two are way too busy with two channels just love seeing all the finds.
I used to have allotment when my son was younger I would take him & his friends and cook the new potatoes with salt and pepper and they would eat them, I grow my own vegetables and fruit garden it tastes better home grown
You could mend the airplane and fix it as a Christmas ornament. I just love your enthusiasm when either of you find a treasure. Stay happy and healthy. Love ya!
Gosh there was a lot of broken glass on that beach. Good finds though and interesting. Wish we could see your allotment too. Stay safe and be careful if you go back where all that broken glass was. Love to all.
I think the military crown was a Major's or a Lieutenant Colonel crown that sat on the shoulder, Major had just the crown and the Lieutenant Colonel had a crown and a pip (which looked like a star). Some wonderful finds and maybe one day you could go through your collections ... Your marbles would be a great start 👍💕💕💕
Speaking of the 1940s doll house, I'm pretty sure the little plane is a Wellington bomber... Would be a good thing for a dad and son doll to be "making" together 😂 Lots of nice bits there, but the plastic is definitely unfortunate... It's EVERYWHERE now. If I ever end up in Kent, I'll help you both clear up some plastic 😂
That was a great lark and beautiful treasures all over that beach. It was very kind of you both to get all of that plastic and trash off of the beach 👍🏻 It is not good for the wildlife, I wish there were more kind people like you! Can you imagine if even 2 people did this to every place they went by water. Awesome day for you both! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜 I certainly love everything you found!
Great video, as always ladies. I was laughing along with you both doing the thumbnail 😂😂😂😂 my mum does this alot. The whole family end up laughing with her😂 love it❤
Great finds! Lots of stuff that isn't broken too looks like... Would love an allotment video, so I can live through your garden instead of my non alive one!
Gosh! I was so excited by your finds, that I forgot and pressed the "skip ad" button without thinking a couple of times! Sorry about that! Looks like you had a lovely day! I wish I could go there... thank you again for a lovely film! kindest regards, k
I love the marble, the markacite, and the Christmas bulb,as well as the crown.I think it’s too small for a cap ,but may be for those shoulder straps they wear in the police ..But looked interesting going around, beautiful day and so lovely seeing all the wild flowers out ,they look so beautiful waving on the breeze. Thanks for taking us..Love n Light 🥰

Stunning doll head found. Hope to see the finished product among your other beauties.

My my grandmother Used to wear the vintage ornate hair combs that were
What a lovely outing with you ladies. It was a pleasure to come along with you
It’s me again.
Just to let you know - you two, and the Northern Mudlarks (Alex and Gail) are my favourite mudlarkers xx
Mine also ‼️
I Love Both of these Mom & Daughters Teams ‼️
We have Very Good Taste in Mudlarkers ‼️😂😂
SO MUCH FUN GOING MUDLARKING ITH YOU GUS
Beautiful scenery. Always nice to see you remove all the plastic garbage from beaches.🫶
What a real treasure find of material, I love listening to you x.
Yay a Sunny cat sighting right at the end bit. 🙂💖🐈🐈⬛🌈
Astonishingly pretty yellow flowers! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
I love how much you two laugh together. Watching you interact reminds me of how much I miss my mom I lost 15 years ago. ❤
I’m sorry for your loss, like you I miss laughing with my mother 🙏 agreed lovely to see their joy
Sunny Cat!
Yes! Show the marble collection! ❤️🇨🇦❤️

I think that W&N stands for Windsor and Newton, the artists paint supplier. and the small pot is also one of theirs.
I loved the joy in your emergency thumbnail shot!!
Maybe that 10 was for a a certain Downing Street?
I like your videos because they’re always new and not recut old ones! I love your adventures and the things you take for craft! It always inspires me to make stuff! 👏👏👏
5:08 a slate pencil between the two beads
That pottery handle would make a great starting point for a Mudlark Dragon!
The pics of those lovely wild flowers was the perfect lead in to another enjoyable lark. You two ladies have a special bond so fun watching your videos
Whoa Nice Beach ⛱️ return trip soon? Thinking You both, Fleur & Kate are the True Treasures of your videos 🪙💥🐝🙋♀️
Also if you find broken bottle, you can make glass beads for jewelry. 🙂
Watching your video I can hear my late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet
Sweet Peas! An absolute favorite of mine, and yours are gorgeous! Thanks again for a lovely video, and for working diligently to clean up the beaches.
What are the beautiful yellow flowers? Love your videos!
Could u make glass animals or the things you find.
Dice. Dolls cups ECT
Flowers .
One day I'm going to a beach and mudlark.
On my wish list.
Love all you do xxxx
That dice look like the ones my grandpa had in a kitchen cup in the Caribbean 70 years ago .
Yay! You got an allotment. I live in the desert. Its so dry here that we really dont garden much anymore because water is so valuable. We need it for drinking. I remember what sweet peas smelled like from Grandmas garden. So sweet. 😊
Kit, the glass disk is ground on the edge of one side. At 7:11 in the video, you can see the ground edge.
Such a pretty marble! I absolutely love sweet peas. Our weather doesn't allow for them to grow properly here as they don't like the heat. My dad always grew them in my childhood home in New Hampshire. They do smell scrumptious!!
Sweet Peas are one of my Favorites, too‼️🌸

Those beautiful dress clips can be made into pendants

A wonderful outing, Ladies! I really love old coins but here in the US you're lucky to find a 50 year old coin let alone 100 years old.
I think the small clear ground glass thing is a checker. I bought my grandson a checkers set years ago and there were black checkers and clear checkers. Love your adventures. I wish Texas had somewhere to mudlark.

An absolute stunner of a pink marble!!
You could mend the airplane and fix it as a Christmas ornament. I just love your enthusiasm when either of you find a treasure. Stay happy and healthy. Love ya!
The price on the bag of peas is 16 shillings and 6 pence. Great film x
I bet your beautiful marble glows seeing that it almost glows there on the beach.
Gosh there was a lot of broken glass on that beach. Good finds though and interesting. Wish we could see your allotment too. Stay safe and be careful if you go back where all that broken glass was. Love to all.
Can't tell the Red one is a die...would look better w/painted dots 😊
So many of the fabrics seem to look like strips. I bet they came from a rag rug weaver at some point. 💖
Hi ladies 🎉. You are my sunshine my only sunshine you make me happy when sky's are gray ❤ xx
I quite enjoyed the getting back to our roots feeling to this week's video though the sheer quantity and persistence of plastic is sad.
I think the military crown was a Major's or a Lieutenant Colonel crown that sat on the shoulder, Major had just the crown and the Lieutenant Colonel had a crown and a pip (which looked like a star). Some wonderful finds and maybe one day you could go through your collections ... Your marbles would be a great start 👍💕💕💕

i remember findus fish fingers very well
There was a small silver looking D maybe a charm right beside where you picked up the marble Kate. Great video as always. Cheers from New Zealand ❤
The little metal blob with the hole in the side would make a great kitchen salt with a tiny spoon ❤ 8.00
Beautiful beach so many finds every time you go I get excited 😊
Fun finds! Please pass the sprouts! The marble amazed me!
Very nice trip , lots of goodies and a lovely day . Just love to go with you both !!! Great one ladies , welcome Summer !!!!! 🧡💛💚💙
Interesting to see how well those 1960’s/1970’s plastic packaging has survived for anyone doubting that it can last 100’s of years in landfill.
By the way it is 16 shillings and sixpence so definitely before 1971 and decimalisation.
Oddly i love the frozen veg bags, i love social history

Use a small bottle for small jewelry beads to put in the bottle and search for more than lost stuff inside the bag. 🙂
Now THAT is a stunning marble! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
The ‘blank’ house number plaque. I’m sure I can see a very faint no. 1 and a possible 0 or 8 on the right ?
Love you two so much. xx
Fascinating and so entertaining to see so many curious finds! Can’t wait to see where you’ll take us next ❤
Great finds! Lots of stuff that isn't broken too looks like... Would love an allotment video, so I can live through your garden instead of my non alive one!
Nice finds as always, ladies.
I look forward to the joy you find in the items you collect in each episode.
Gosh! I was so excited by your finds, that I forgot and pressed the "skip ad" button without thinking a couple of times! Sorry about that! Looks like you had a lovely day! I wish I could go there... thank you again for a lovely film! kindest regards, k
Whoahhh congrats on the stunning marble ,never seen one like that before, fantastic piece 😎
I always love to see the finds you manage to lark where ever you go. There's always something waiting for you two ladies to discover. 😊
Another amazing treasure adventure ❤❤ thank again for taking us along with you 😊😊
Great job ladies lots of fun
16 shillings and sixpence to GBP = 89p. I clearly remember Decimal Day 15/2/71 🙂
Kate, your hair looks beautiful and so shiney. Great finds today. 🌻🐕🥰🇺🇸
Beautiful textile fabrics
What a lot of amazing treasures, well found. Thank you for trying to help take the plastic off the beach. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍🙏❤️
I ❤ the vintage fabrics! I might have to see if I can find any on my local spot and do something with it!!
I suspect "Tabular Key" is from a typewriter.
Amazing finds as always. Thank you for sharing x
Thanks so much for picking up the horrible plastic great video . Yeah haven't seen Oscar in a while take care.....
I loved all your finds! ❤
I think the price on the back of the pea packet is 16 shillings and 6 pence, so 86p in today's money. The ammonite button is so unusual!
It was in the pin
Excellent!!
Lovely video, thank you.
Love all of this, and especially the beach cleanup ❤ keep up the good work and hope to join you someday for mudlarking and garbage pickup! 37:22
