This video was absolutely perfect. No extra BS, just straight to the point. The boy and I just did his rear rotors and brakes. I watched this video, did one side while he watched me, then he did the other on his own. Took us right about an hour to do both. Brilliant.

Just did this on my 2008 Xterra. Went exactly as described in the video and was super easy, and it was my first time I’ve worked on my own vehicle.

Shouldn't the access hole on the rotor line up w/ the brake adjustment gear?

This video is great. However, I watched a bunch of videos trying to figure why my rotor was stuck and how to get it unstuck. Not a single video bothers to mention that the E-brake needs to be released. I eventually figured it out on my own but it took much longer than it should have. It might seem like common sense to some people, but when I'm under my car or truck for any reason, I'm of the habit of engaging my E-brake. I wish somebody would have included this little tidbit.

Unless I read it incorrectly in fsm, rear caliper hanger bolts should be 65 foot pounds but again I might not be right
