Wokeness should be mocked though, it’s an authoritarian Marxist ideology that has massively restricted freedom of speech in western countries like the UK, enabled massive riots across America in 2020 that killed around 20 people and had completely terrified people in power from government to media so they’ll follow the party line. It’s horrific and mirrors the communist and fascist authoritarianism that led to millions dead last century. People are far too tolerant of having an active cancel culture where a small group of narcissistic busybodies on the internet backed by malicious journalists can just ruin almost anyone’s reputation and livelihood.
Probably the second finest comedian scotland has produced. Second only to Billy connolly. Frankie boyle for third place.

I'm also about 90% confident that every comedian who ever got 'cancelled' whatever that means just wasn't a very good comedian. It's a skill issue. If your comedy isn't great, the market rejects you. It's capitalism

Saw this tour live in Glasgow and it was brilliant. Got the DVD - thoroughly disappointed. Not the same show - too geared for the Cork audience (where it was filmed) and just not funny!!

I fear this is yet another comedian who has embraced this woke nonsense, not out of conviction, but because they know they will lose their career if they dare utter a word against it. Conformist comedy, nice and safe.

This is what happens when a small extremist group uses social media to coerce society into conformity with their beliefs. Just look at how many people lost their careers due to non-conformity to the woke ideology, including university professors. Five years ago this nonsense would have been called out for what it is, which is absurb. Men becoming women at the click of a finger. Safe spaces. Most actors in adverts black.
