18:45 that guy is really insecure. That M850i can literally be optioned with double the price tag of his "M3" and he's saying "I worked hard for an M3." Makes no sense whatsoever. It's even faster than his F80 M3 :)
Regardless of the model and the brand, one principle applies. 99% of the "haters" can't afford the car.
Why does everyone kill bmw for the M badges when Mercedes does the exact same thing with amg with the c43 “amg”, cls 53 “amg”, etc....? And Audi with the S variant?
Not true. There will never be an amg badge on an a200. But sure there is an m badge on an 116i if he ordered the m packadge. And that is sad
It is a marketing strategy. Those who usually go for the “full” m or amg packages are more likely to stay there than move down a trim level. Whereas those in the lower end may be enticed by the “partial” performance package to spend the extra money without going all the way.
If all those companies are doing it, it must be a successful strategy.

I just bought the M850i Gran Coupé and I like it a lot most people say it’s not a true M but it’s apples and oranges really…I’m coming out of an SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee so I just wanted something a bit more grown up and wouldn’t let me down wheel it comes to speed because us dads love our speed 🤣🤣 look loved the review I will be buying a 2 door m8 in the near future. Loved the review 👍🏾

I think BMW was going after the CS concept from 2007. If you look at them side by side this appears as the modernized version of that car

I am having a hard time finding a used m850i GC which does not have a black exterior or black interior...
A random question Eddie, but do you know why Mercedes does not produce the E43 AMG anymore? And does that mean, if you already have the car that it would be much harder to get it fixed and get your hands on specific parts?
I believe they replaced it with the E53 amg with the new inline 6. I would assume that many parts in the overall car are still shared tho
How low it is as compared to 5 series?
I like the 8 GC, but it is waay over priced. And perhaps that is why I'm in a 2020 540i.

BMW people know in the BMWverse 3 numbers are less than one. The M for BMW now is more of an appearance package.

i'll be honest, i thought the 6 series gran coupe was a better looking car. the 8 series works better as a 2 door.
8 series is growing on me. The M8 GC concept was so amazing, didn't love the front end but I'm a fan of the rear end. M6 GC still looks great tho!
Middle seat is for child car seat to secure it anchors are in tucked in
have you ever tried to lift a child out of a car seat if the child seat is in the center of the rear seat?? try lifting a kid while leaning so far forward... and how is the kid supposed to get out themselves without stepping on the leather?? the kid seats go on either side, not the middle...

I shoot everything on the Sony in 4K. But usually just export in regular HD. No plans to change that immediately right now. So much media consumption occurs on mobile devices where it wouldn't be worth it

How was the N63 reliability?
Anybody would take a BMW over other cars, there is nothing not like about them. Mercedes always has an older man's car look and Audi is still trying to prove itself. I have had 4 of them and compared the drive of the others, and still think they are better driving cars. They tend to be expensive though.
Agreed. Audis are stupid borefests and their gearboxes are very suspect to case cracks. Oil guzzlers. Mercs no thanks, too much bling bong ding. BMW 4/5/6/8 series are the best in their classes.
You guys complain to much 850 is killing all other cars in this video besides the E63 just got the 2023 M850I

This has over 500 HP. Who cares it has M on it. As for the price get rid of the Carbon exterior and the bowers sound system and the price drops $7,500.
