idk why people are harking on about Kylee in the comments, she seemed super confident to me, just joking around and laughing. And Envy seemed very relaxed after she got some of that energy out. Was a fun episode, you have so many wonderful personalities at the rescue, horses and humans!
You guys are so dedicated - impressive. Two items that I see as potentially dangerous are the lack of mats in the breezeway and trying to hang on to the lead of a bolting horse. I have seen horses slip and fall on concrete - even flip over when being saddled, resulting in horrible injuries to horse and handler. Hanging on to the lead on a bolting horse can get you drug and. Kicked in the head. Not criticizing- just concerned. Keep up the good work. 🙏🏻❤️🤠
Oh the suspense at the end! So glad Envy is doing so great. And I can´t wait to see her and Canolli in the pasture! I am so glad four lives could be saved. It was heartbreaking to see the horses at the auction.
You guys should watch some Steve Young Horsemanship for easy to follow horse communication tips, you do such a marvelous job and you need to keep safe... love from Scotland
I love Steve Young. I noticed in a previous episode when they were trying to trailer some untrained horses, they were doing something Steve always talks about which is releasing the pressure as soon as a horse takes a step forward or considered going in the trailer. But also other things in the episodes that's been in line with some things I've seen on SYH, which I was happy to see here unlike on other channels I've watched. Steve's way of doing things just seem to make so much sense, even to the horses and has changed so many lives for the better. I love seeing the calm and meaningful approach which is something the Pony Tales staff seem to have as well. (Note: if anyone is referring to Envy, I was worried at first but then I realized Envy was just playing around. Just working off some cabin fever. And a plus is that the girl had Envy on a long lead line. Still scary though when you can't be sure a huge horse like that has any respect of space.)
Miss Envy is so majestic! Anyway, it’s wonderful that she has been able to start to get out. You can see her personality starting to come out more and more. I love what you do and I’m so glad you got to save four more horses! The one at the auction looked so sad!😢 well, hopefully we will see an x-ray machine pretty soon! Nice little cliffhanger there! God bless you for all y’all do!❤
I’m not much a horse trainer & unwanted advice is just that-unwanted. But here I go-whenever I’ve had a nervous horse “chasing” & directionless, I make them jog/trot up & down my driveway or down a quiet road or I lounge them until I tell them they can stop. They learn quickly that work isn’t their “thing”. Just a thought. Take it for what it is. Envy is gorgeous.
You could do with hard-core putting down and compacted then no more mud on the road areas. I know it will a bit expensive to begin with. It will save in the long run especially getting from field to field. It will be safer for horses and humans.😊 As Big as Envy is I'm sure she wouldn't hurt anyone intentionally. She's just loving life, sooo beautiful to see. 😂
We have a lot mud in our yard. We purchased patio blocks with a lot of surface roughness. When they get iced over we throw old rugs down. That might be something temporary you could do for your ‘swamp’.
How old is Envy? She is beautiful and really fun. You know I’m sitting here looking at these horses at the auction. I know this video was taken a year ago, but I was looking at them thinking just at one time they were a sweet little fool that somebody probably loved on headed played with and now they’re used up and they had an auction where they could possibly be , purchased by the bad guys it just hurts my heart when I think of these sweet faces and what journey each one of them could tell you they’ve been on if they could talk, wouldn’t that be something?
Love all the work ya’ll are doing! By chance, have you seen the Steve Young Horsemanship channel on youtube? I wish he and you could team up; after watching a lot of his training, I was think how some of his ideas, like the lick and stuff he does would help you. Anyway, good job!!

That’s Captain Morgan. Pony Tales saved him in Aug ‘22. He is blind in one eye & was hurt at the auction so he could only use 3 legs for a bit. He was also emaciated.
