  • It was a rainy morning in Swanzey, New Hampshire for the start of the April Wild Horse & Burro Adoption Event! Walk through the pens to see all the horses before they head home. New Hampshire was a pick up site for the January Online Corral (an online auction) and also has horses available for adoption/sale.
Walk through the mustang pens: • FIRST LOOK 👀 WALKING T...
See the 2024 Mustang Magic (with Cactus Wren): • MORE than Mustang Magic ✨
This event runs from April 12-13, 2024.
INTERESTED IN ADOPTING A WILD MUSTANG SOMEDAY??
..I HIGHLY recommend you watch/listen to these following videos. While these may not be the most exciting videos, these are ones you need to see if you are indeed serious about adopting.
1.) • Could bodywork be used... - this is a longer video, but worth the listen. Here I interviewed the bodyworker, Jim Masterson. He is known worldwide and is the founder of the Masterson Method, which is an integrative form of bodywork. Here he shares valuable insights that I believe every adopter needs to hear!
2.) • ARE YOU READY FOR A WI... - before you adopt, it is so important to consider if you are actually ready to take on a wild mustang.
3.) • BLM Mustang Adoption E... - this is another adoption event in New Hampshire, but in it is a TON OF INFORMATION on mustangs. A good starting point.

Your channel is the one that introduced my wife and I to the idea of adopting a mustang. I'm the horse person so I was pleased when she was excited to drive up from MA to take a look at live ones on Saturday as an information gathering mission to adopt next year. I was surprised how mellow all the horses were. They definitely have a different feel than domestic horses. The handlers seemed to be really concerned for their welfare. They all had fresh hay Saturday morning.
And happily my wife is all in. She said "lets take home four!" We will of course start with one but it was really sweet for her to say. Thanks for your videos. I learn something new with each one.

They're all nice to me, esp. the dark bays/black, but I really like the name "Dublin"! 3:50.
So sad for the "strikes", though, and I guess those would be my choices. Since I'm NOT adopting a horse, ofc, thanks again for taking us along w/you to NH!💕🐴☮️

As someone who longs to have enough equestrian skills and knowledge to adopt a mustang, but is still new to this world; I’m really curious about how mustangs differ based on the herd/location they were picked up from. You mentioned Devil’s Garden mustangs. Do they exhibit different characteristics and personality traits from other mustangs? If so, what are some of the other herds, and how do they differ from each other?
Thank you so much for all of your videos! You’ve inspired a new life dream for me. ❤❤❤

I really enjoy you going to all of these pick up sites and showing all horses and giving what information is available. I’m really curious about what happens to the older horses that nobody seems to want? Where or what their future? I’ve never really heard anyone say.

I know one that was in long term was placed in a rescue I don't know how he's doing now though.you really need to go with BLM when they round them up to see how everything is done in my opinion.

Thank you for sharing. Ever since i was s young teenager and read the book about Wild Horse Annie and her battle to save & help the Mustangs from extinction, i've been intrigued by them. Always wanted one, but i'm not really a trainer, but always learning. For much of my life it was hard to get a mustang. In these times, they are much easier to get, but i'm not sure my fence is tall enough! And how do you manage to do the trimmings? The babies seem milder, and perhaps that would be an option? Ive watched many of your videos, love your info & your capturing of their lives. Where will these that are left go, from here?

LOL that was awesome @ 19:19 where the horse was literally blowing kisses at you with the relaxed eye slow blink and a nasal flex aimed at you. tho i am not a fan of its coat color , i would have to take a closer look to see if he really meant his expressions or if it was a superficial gesture like people do in a public setting. like a greet and meet hi and bye smile , not a smile that we are going home together as buddies.

I'm from Australia. Excuse my ignorance, but do the government round up wild mustangs, then sell them to control the numbers in the wild? I noticed many of them have neck brands. Is that a government thing?

Why are they eating wet hay that's not good for them to eat, I hope they clean those pen and not let them eat the old hay because it causes mold and it will make those horses sick, and that's not good, and they eat hay and grass with sand it can cause colic and that's not good either. When you adopt a wild mustang and get the horse home the first thing I would have a vet check. Do they have a vet at these wild mustang places to check these horses, or do you have to do that when you adopt the horse?
