You can use it either way but honestly until the back wheels get better traction I left it as all wheel drive. Soon as I order some new rubber tires and glue them on I'll probably make it rwd
I ended up putting the factory tires back on. I tried several tires and mods and honestly it has a solid axle so it's not good for making turns it's only designed for drifting.

I got one not that long ago about 39 bucks. You can find them on sale and clearance sometimes. Long as it’s a Jetta drift car elite they use the same chassis just different bodies.
You should be able to get it on target.com or Walmart and other stores like that it should never be more than 50 bucks for shipping a good price is 3999

@@eldar4901 The small ones are all the same and the big ones are all the same we're just different bodies on them. The smaller cheaper ones are OK they don't drift that good the bigger $40+ ones are the better ones in my opinion and you can do mods a lot easier.

Quit wasting your money on garbage you can get a real RC car that will leave that thing in the dust for about 30 or $40 more than probably what you pay for that piece of garbage
