I had 4 matches to make to the top of the podium in the Open class at Masters International 2024 after placing 3rd (bronze) in the Ultra Heavyweight division. This was my first match. He pulled guard, I was able to pass the guard and get control but unable to finish a submission. I ended up winning by points and moving on to the quarter finals.
