I really like this more imposing and intimidating route that Batman takes to get villains to cooperate instead of just threatening to "hurt" them if they don't say anything.

I love this game the creators followed the comics so perfectly unlike most Hollywood movies.. the suit of Mr. Freeze fits his character and condition perfectly and the voice acting is nice fits the character also

Those two basically did all the major legwork for producing, writing, and guiding the Batman, Batman Beyond, Superman, and Justice League cartoons. The entire DC animated shared universe. That duo should have been at the very least guiding the DC cinematic universe from day one, keeping whoever was directing and writing each film in check if nothing else. It's honestly dumbfounding WB didn't use them as their first choice.

In Arkham: Origins Batman is actually kind to him as he at least at first refused to kill anybody but Boyle and put victims in cryostatis which Batman was able to cure them. Batman explicitly griefs what happened to him in a conversation with Alfred and even nicely asks him to stop for Nora's sake assuring him Boyle will face justice.
It's pretty obvious they just reused the ripped body 3D model from the other faceless inmate NPCs. I doubt Fries would look like a bodybuilder in actuality. But the game relies heavily on artistic style. Even Joker looks like a stick figure.
After re playing this game again. I understand why freeze attacked Batman later and wasn't eager to give him the cure to his sickness. Batman found Victor while he was at his lowest. And rather than simply offering to help Victor in exchange for helping him. Batman attacks him and then uses the possible death of his wife as a bartering chip. So, when the tables were turned. It seemed rather fitting that Batman got a taste of his own medicine.
Actually Batman tries to ask him in the nicest way possible until Victor flat out refuses. Pushing Batman to extreme measures. Because even at Victor's lowest point his pride matter more than some humility. So unfortunately he got what he deserved.

But I give them a pass, they wanted a reason to fight Freeze because it was the best boss fight in the game.
Still stupid, freeze refused so batman had to do that, and batman would save Nora regardless even if freeze gave him the cure, he isn't gonna let anyone die to the joker if he knows that they are currently with the joker
The writing in the Arkham games really did understand certain key aspects of Batman. Especially in scenes like this, they really got the "Batman Gambit". Manipulating someone by understanding their psychology and how they SHOULD react in a given situation. This was always very important with Batman's rogue gallery. Each of them has a unique fixation and Batman deeply understands how they tick. (And the games even got his core issue with Joker. That Joker is so chaotic, he is the one person Batman cannot entirely account for - until the final game where, when at the very end, just when it seems like Joker has finally broken Batman, Batman springs his trap - having finally figured out exactly what the Joker wants and what he truly fears.)
Considering Mr Freeze is a villian and Batman is a hero. it makes sense he would not help him. However he does respect batman after he finds Nora in Arkham City and even apologises to him
If the voice of Mr Freeze sounds familiar - it was because he was one of the guys who voiced pinky & the brain. I spent the entire day wondering why the voice sounded so familiar only to google later on and find out it was Maurice LaMarche.
Freeze is one of my favorite batman rogue's and I hate that the only cinematic interpretation we got was... so non-indicative of how meaningful the character is supposed to be. Out of all creative director's of batman movies, I think reeves has the best vision to deliver us a really, really solid Mr. Freeze.

Love that Batman bring up Ras in front of one of assassins, knowing that she'll act rash and cut herself by breaking the glass. Its a small thing but given his reaction you can tell it was calculated by him.
Story wise I think this one was the best with how it used the villains. Asylum was a Joker story that had other villains as just unaffiliated obstacles, Knight was kinda the same way, but City used the villains as a part of the story that influenced one another. Such as here where Penguin took down Freeze, but Batman needs Freeze for the cure, and this leads into Raas Al Ghul whose body is a part of the cure AND is involved in the main plot too

Story wise I think this one was the best with how it used the villains. Asylum was a Joker story that had other villains as just unaffiliated obstacles, Knight was kinda the same way, but City used the villains as a part of the story that influenced one another. Such as here where Penguin took down Freeze, but Batman needs Freeze for the cure, and this leads into Raas Al Ghul whose body is a part of the cure AND is involved in the main plot too
