She almost never does, I've had four heavy meteor showers so far and she only announced one of them; The only real way of knowing is to be on after 7 pm.
If Isabelle doesn’t announce when something else is going on I think that really should be changed. I’ve literally not had one real one. I’ve had MAYBE 2 a month of the light ones. It would be nice if Isabelle A. Had more to say than the usual tv show nonsense. And B. Told of EVERYTHING going on today that is of importance.

this would be good if you could talk to her during the day for additional announcements. She could have her daily whatever, but then you could visit her for "additional news". I think that would be the best way of keeping her from being too annoying, but for those who want all the info a way to get it. OR alternatively you could talk to her and adjust a setting saying Hey i want no announcements, one announcements, or all announcements every morning.
I used to use the Wet Suit under my wand, but it grew annoying to have to take it off every time I wanted to change or shop at the Able Sisters. It’s just not efficient.
yea its so annoying if its a tool let us add it to the tool ring, if its a clothing piece let us add it to the wand. Because wearing the wetsuit then using the wand then when having to shop at the able revert then having to take off the wet suit is so so so annoying.

They have a high chance (90%) of giving a recipe from their personality pool, but also a 10% chance to give out a recipe from a general pool of recipes, containing all the recipes you can get from every personality + all the flower crown and wreaths. And this is also the case for the recipes in bottles, the sender have a 90% chance of giving a recipe of their personality type and 10% of sending something from the general pool. This is why flower crowns and wreaths are so rare, you need to be lucky enough for your crafting villagers and note in a bottle writers to fall on the 10% chance of picking a recipe from the general pool + the small chance of picking a flower crown/wreath out of all the possible recipes.
I really wish that villagers had a higher chance to give you recipes that you don't have. The current system feels really broken to me. I know that they want to encourage trading, but I don't like feeling as if I'm forced to play with other people.
I built a stall and place it on the beach as a “rental station”. So there’s two snorkels on the stall and three wet suits on mannequins in front. So my wet suits are always available on the beach and it adds to the layout of my island.
that's good! but i really hate when isabelle doesn't announce it, i dont always have time, to play every day for hours to check, or play late at night. if isabelle actually gave you the news, it would be so much better
Same here. One day all my villagers were talking about how the sky was so clear, and how they were looking forward to seeing the stars. Then a heavy meteor shower started at night. I had a villager moving in at that time, so now I know why Isabelle didn't mention that one at least..
i wish Isabelle would announce more news, like who's visiting, Leif, Flick, Cj, etc. I'm kinda getting sick of her TV habits, as most of them are kinda long winded and not useful (they might be fine occasionally but not 7 days a week or longer)

Lol it would be terrible if wetsuits broke, then having to see your character drown. Then rescue service ends up fishing you out and seeing the opening transition of your character washed up on the shore 😂
I found out recently that talking to Sable gets her to slowly open up and talk to you. I loved this so much I talked to her every day. Three days ago, to my glee, she's started giving me patterns for custom items!! There's like 15 patterns per set and they're so cute!
I change my outfits everyday. I've just put my wetsuits on a rock near my water as a decoration and when I want to dive, I pick one up, put it on and go to town! That's the best way that I've found since when I dive, I've usually emptied my pockets and prepared to swim for a while.
This is a good idea. I do this with flimsy fishing rods and nets, since I go on fishing and bug catching binges and hate stopping to craft these items (and don't want to burn my cute new rod/net from Nook's Cranny), especially since fish will sometimes despawn if you go away even long enough to craft a rod.

the wet suit hack would be very annoying to me tbh i always liek changing my clothes and it would be a huge hassle to change the clothes in my wand, or take off everything to change. even going into ables. i just replaced my wand with the wet suit and boom lol
Apparently the weather report on the tv will tell you if there will be meteor showers? The schedule changes every day so I've never had the patience to check.
Hello, my son 19 n daughter 24 they gifted me a switch lite which I love, Animal Crossing game included. Im grateful for this, thank god for the swimming feature cause its my fav thing. The other day by accident while running away from the bees, I sat on a tree stump and bees were just flying around me and never stung me, ofc I had to close the game or they will never leave. 😊
Hi Monica, if you learn how to catch wasps, you'll never have to run away from them or get stung again! First, whenever you shake trees, always make sure you have your bug net equipped. Second, try to shake your trees head-on (instead of on the side or behind them) *if you can*. If you do that and a wasp nest falls, your character will automatically turn toward the wasp swarm and all you have to do is hit A to catch them. If you happen to shake your tree from a different angle than straight-on, no worries, you have a couple of seconds to get close to the swarm and hit A to catch them before they start chasing you. I know it seems counter-intuitive to run TOWARDS wasps, but doing this has saved a lot of hassle and i never had to suffer a swollen face or take medicine again :-) The wasps also sell for a decent amount. Reactions are also taught by specific villager personality types like the DIYs. In addition, island flags, Nookphone customizations, and designs currently on your face (like custom eyebrows and freckles) will stay in the game even if the designs are erased or overridden. So you can free up those custom design slots. 😊
I found that if you put an aircon in your house, you jump up to turn it on and off. And it actually creates an air current that interacts with some items (makes them move), can't remember which... sorry, I think flowers?
Isabelle says the exact same thing every day unless someone is at the campsite or moving. I've never gotten a meteor shower message from her, and I played for 3 months straight (more like once a week now sadly). Edit: quarantine felt longer than 3 months, but my point still stands.

1:23 Wow! I always assumed those horns were just hair because of Gamecube, especially since the girl's come directly out her head where her ears would be. My best friend and I used to argue over it because she believed they were like elf ears. I totally forgot about City Folk, where at least the boy character's hair peeks out under the cap and can be a different color. If you applied a custom design cap to the girl's head with the short hair style where the trimmed edges are pointed outwards, it looked like her "horns" in Gamecube. Perhaps they were originally intended to be hair but changed to "horned hats" after that installment.
5:28 I did this for a while but then it got annoying when going into the fitting room at Ables Sisters so I just stuck with having to keep changing it without the wand.
for the wetsuit life hack, i've actually found that, if i already don't really use the wand in my usual playing, i can just leave that at home and the space in my inventory that the wand would occupy is for the wetsuit. when i'm going diving, i also have one more inventory lot for whatever i may find :D of course, if you use the wand in your day to day gaming, the life hack from this video would work better
Every single time he talks to a villager on screen my brain immediately ignores everything that he's saying in favor of reading the text box instead and I have to replay that part like three times. My brain settings are broken 🤦♀️💀 ... also I really need one of those horned helmets

That wand hack is great except for when you go to the changing room at Able's. You'll have to change out of the wand outfit and the wetsuit before you can go in

If you google “personality diy acnh” articles pop up listing them out. I haven’t looked up the reactions but I imagine if you replace diy with reaction, you’d get a similar list.
Horns! I was wondering about the DIYs! It will take me a while to get all the DIYs, since some of my villagers are NEVER allowed to move out and I don't have any amiibos to bring in new villagers more quickly.
When a camper selects a villager you don't want them to select, while on that screen, close the game without saving. Reopen it and talk to them again. It will roll the dice again for removal of a different villager. I literally just did this with Wolfgang 10 mins ago. Took about 5 reloads to get the villager I wanted selected.
So long as you don't say yes or no and it is still in that dialogue, the game won't save it and will let you retry. Reread my comment and felt I could be more clear. It is important to not say yes or no because then you're stuck even if you close without saving.

What I typically do is look so small bubbles and swim by them to make sure they don’t move. Granted you’ll get a barnacle or a slug but you’ll find some eventually! I found maybe two in one day so they are pretty rare just focus on small bubbles when you’re pearl hunting!
I just catch everything i see it doesn’t take too long and you can always get the extra bells from the other stuff you catch, i have like 5 pearls in storage and I don’t even dive everyday lol
Wetsuit hack: This is great right until you visit the sisters to see what all is for sale that day. The changing room won't let you wear either the wetsuit or a wand outfit. I really do hope nintendo adds an update soon to better handle how the wetsuit is handled. It is treated in the game as a tool. However, unlike a tool, you can't add it to the favorites bar as you wear it like a piece of clothing. But unlike a piece of clothing (because it is a tool), you can't add it to the wand. Just makes it really clunky when it comes to the changing room of the able sisters. That said, I have been doing what you mentioned myself after seeing your first video showing it off (it was a quick couple frames, but I noticed). Works well enough until the changing room as I've said.

Once I found out that I couldn’t use the wand for my diving suit. My first thought was to use it as my default outfit. Smart idea in sharing that info!
A real good tip is that if you wanted cleaner custom paths, you can add one pixel of transparency to the design and then. You place the custom path on top of a normal and it will fit the path shape
bad seed probably! i've got one heavy shower on april 15th and that's it, i've got plenty of light showers though.. everyone does! so it's not entirely impossible to get star fragments
I've seen a lot of people commenting on Isabelle announcing the weather. While I feel as though she's become a shell of the awesome NPC she was before and her character needs a bit of reworking to make her feel impactful, this one aspect is actually already in the game. If you look closely through the window behind Isabelle as she gives you the morning announcements, you'll see what the weather is right away- a stormy day will even have thunder in the background if you listen closely (and this works in every building on the island), a light rain will appear for a rainy morning that usually tapers off by midday, hazy for fog, a bit dim but sunny for a day that will have rain in the afternoon, and bright and sunny (even illuminating the room more) for a fully sunny day. You can even get an idea of this on the title screen by looking at the state of the island when you log in. It's the little details like this that I love about the game.
1) You can close/open the mouth of the T-Rex fossil decoration when pressing A at a T-Rex Head fossil. 2) You can play a basic beat with the drums when hitting A at a 2/4 or 4/4 pattern. 3) Each instrument note is not random, but rather follow a generic beat/composition that fits in with every KK Slider song. Give it a try and try to tap on beat. ;)
The thing you talked about that I was happiest to hear about are the meteor showers being more often than I thought. As far as I knew, I hadn't had one on my island yet, but it sounds like I've just missed them happening.
A problem with the wand hack is that if you’re changing outfits for nook miles it presents a hassle. Since you can neither change clothes while in a wand outfit OR while wearing a wetsuit, some extra steps are required. Might also apply to Abel’s dressing room, though I’ve not tested it yet.
The wetsuit/wand hack doesn't help save any space for my inventory because I don't usually carry a wand around with me. I just change my clothes every day like a person normally would. So whether I have a slot in my inventory for a wet suit or a slot for a wand, it's still one inventory slot taken up.
I’ve caught every wasp without holding a net when I shook the tree. Every time I sprint upwards, then the wasps actually pause when I click my toolbelt. It gives me plenty of time to grab my net and then wait for the wasps to run to me
The problem with the wetsuit hack is that you can't go into the changing rooms in Able's with a wand outfit so when you revert it you have a wetsuit on...which you also can't go into the changing room with. It would become very tedious to have to revert your outfit and change your wetsuit every single time you gotta go to Able's
I’ve been playing for months and I JUST realized something. If you go to the mirror to change your hair color or cut, it usually takes off the hat and glasses. I’ve spent so many times going in and out of the mirror to see the full look. YESTERDAY I found out if you use the mirror, all you have to do is press x and you can see the cut and color with the hat and/or glasses you were wearing! So much wasted time....
I put a picnic cooler on the ground next to Able Sisters as a decoration just so I can run out and double-check if I already own that item or what color the shirt is so I can buy the matching hat. 😂

Horned caps aren't the only hidden 3DS-only clothes format. Regular long-sleeved shirts and dresses without the extra frills/embellishments of things like dress shirts and sweaters can also only be obtained in this way.
Having the wetsuit as default won't let you in the Able Sisters changing room so I don't do it for that reason . I recommend putting a closet on the beach, I use fishing box to change before diving
I don't know if this was mentioned in previous videos, but if you repeatedly press A while crafting at the DIY crafting bench, your character will go crazy fast and crafting time will shorten.
The main reason I ever want to take my wetsuit off is to use the Able Sister's changing room though... and they don't allow costumes on either, so unfortunately the wand/wetsuit trick doesn't help me with that issue.

I used the wetsuit hack since the update was released, but have since stopped doing so because my villagers didn’t comment on my wand outfits or give me little gifts that they thought matched it. It’s a small thing, but I do enjoy their little comments and it adds variety to their daily dialogue.
I displayed by wet-suits on the peninsula of my island with some of my fishing tourney gear to make it look like a little diving/fishing spot. It's cute if I do say so myself and whenever I want to jump in the water, I just head over there and grab it.
I accidently figured out the bit about jumping off the cliffs not too long ago. I was standing on one of my third tier cliffs wishing on stars and all of a sudden my villager just jumped. Freaked me out since I hadn't realized you could accidently jump from the third tier. 😂

Since the start of the game first thing I always did was look for those horned hats in the shop...only to be disappointed they didn't seem to exist. Gonna go look for those codes now. Lol
I literally have no friends who are playing acnh so I’m finding it really hard to find all the furniture needed to progress and do what I want with my island without it taking AGES!
After seeing you use the wetsuit-wand trick I figured out that the wetsuit must be your default clothing. Partly, that’s handy. Partly, it isn’t. You cannot access a wardrobe, nor the fitting room at Able’s with a wetsuit on... Also, you’re wrong about the weekly meteor showers. According to MeteoNook, I’ll have only 4 light showers this month, the first starting on the 16th. Means there’s about 2 weeks without any meteor shower.
Also, if you’re going to have a meteor shower but isabelle didn’t address it, look at the clouds, usually when theres a meteor shower at day time there will be huge clouds that are different than normal.
Maybe it is just common knowledge but I havent heard a single youtuber mention it. There are spots in fossil wing of the museum that you can stand to get the camera to turn to look at wide areas. They are marked with blue circles... AND if you go to the very end of the ice age part and stand in the empty area of where the glass pane depicts all the villager outlines, a light will come on indicating that you are the human to complete the exhibit and there is even a line that leads to you that splits off from a monkey villager outline and Australopith skull.
Man I love this game. New Leaf was slightly more fun in my opinion. Also I think the horned hat is a reference to what Animal crossing was originally. Before they thought of Animal Crossing, they wanted to make a 4 player co-op game for the N64 DD which was about exploring dungeons and helping each other solve puzzles (like four swords adventures) but Nintendo wanted to use the N64's clock to its advantage so they scrapped it.
Did you know that if you where changed in a wand outfit at 5am it won’t take you to the Isabelle announcement cutscene? One time it was raining at my island and I was up late playing animal crossing and I had my rain outfit on because it was raining. When it hit 5am it didn’t show the Isabelle cutscene, when I took off the outfit it took me to the cutscene.
This definitely isn’t the most efficient way of finding out if there is a meteor shower on your island but when there are shooting stars there will be a specific sound it makes before it lands ,almost like a small tinkling/a bell ringing . If you keep hearing this more than once on your island after 7pm it most likely means you are having a light shower and if you are hearing this sound lots and quite frequently then you are having a heavy shower. These sounds have been happening on my island a lot and I have just found out so ☺️🤦🏻♀️

I found out recently that talking to Sable gets her to slowly open up and talk to you. I loved this so much I talked to her every day. Three days ago, to my glee, she's started giving me patterns for custom items!! There's like 15 patterns per set and they're so cute!

I change my outfits everyday. I've just put my wetsuits on a rock near my water as a decoration and when I want to dive, I pick one up, put it on and go to town! That's the best way that I've found since when I dive, I've usually emptied my pockets and prepared to swim for a while.

This is a good idea. I do this with flimsy fishing rods and nets, since I go on fishing and bug catching binges and hate stopping to craft these items (and don't want to burn my cute new rod/net from Nook's Cranny), especially since fish will sometimes despawn if you go away even long enough to craft a rod.

Hello, my son 19 n daughter 24 they gifted me a switch lite which I love, Animal Crossing game included. Im grateful for this, thank god for the swimming feature cause its my fav thing. The other day by accident while running away from the bees, I sat on a tree stump and bees were just flying around me and never stung me, ofc I had to close the game or they will never leave. 😊

Hi Monica, if you learn how to catch wasps, you'll never have to run away from them or get stung again! First, whenever you shake trees, always make sure you have your bug net equipped. Second, try to shake your trees head-on (instead of on the side or behind them) *if you can*. If you do that and a wasp nest falls, your character will automatically turn toward the wasp swarm and all you have to do is hit A to catch them. If you happen to shake your tree from a different angle than straight-on, no worries, you have a couple of seconds to get close to the swarm and hit A to catch them before they start chasing you. I know it seems counter-intuitive to run TOWARDS wasps, but doing this has saved a lot of hassle and i never had to suffer a swollen face or take medicine again :-) The wasps also sell for a decent amount. Reactions are also taught by specific villager personality types like the DIYs.
In addition, island flags, Nookphone customizations, and designs currently on your face (like custom eyebrows and freckles) will stay in the game even if the designs are erased or overridden. So you can free up those custom design slots. 😊
also friendship level matters too!
I found that if you put an aircon in your house, you jump up to turn it on and off.

Tip for if you're using the wetsuit wand: when you want to use a dressing room you have to take off your wand outfit AND the wetsuit.
Isabelle says the exact same thing every day unless someone is at the campsite or moving. I've never gotten a meteor shower message from her, and I played for 3 months straight (more like once a week now sadly).
Edit: quarantine felt longer than 3 months, but my point still stands.

1:23 Wow! I always assumed those horns were just hair because of Gamecube, especially since the girl's come directly out her head where her ears would be. My best friend and I used to argue over it because she believed they were like elf ears. I totally forgot about City Folk, where at least the boy character's hair peeks out under the cap and can be a different color. If you applied a custom design cap to the girl's head with the short hair style where the trimmed edges are pointed outwards, it looked like her "horns" in Gamecube. Perhaps they were originally intended to be hair but changed to "horned hats" after that installment.

for the wetsuit life hack, i've actually found that, if i already don't really use the wand in my usual playing, i can just leave that at home and the space in my inventory that the wand would occupy is for the wetsuit. when i'm going diving, i also have one more inventory lot for whatever i may find :D of course, if you use the wand in your day to day gaming, the life hack from this video would work better

That wand hack is great except for when you go to the changing room at Able's. You'll have to change out of the wand outfit and the wetsuit before you can go in

If you google “personality diy acnh” articles pop up listing them out. I haven’t looked up the reactions but I imagine if you replace diy with reaction, you’d get a similar list.
For the reactions you get etce has a video called the great villager purge or something like that. He explains and shows a diagram of it.
You can get a reaction by villagers coming up to you to say hello doing a reaction. They can either give you a reaction or furniture
Horns! I was wondering about the DIYs! It will take me a while to get all the DIYs, since some of my villagers are NEVER allowed to move out and I don't have any amiibos to bring in new villagers more quickly.
Every single one of your villagers can move out I've literally removed every villager ive had except one but he's not allowed to leave >:)
When a camper selects a villager you don't want them to select, while on that screen, close the game without saving.
Reopen it and talk to them again. It will roll the dice again for removal of a different villager.
I literally just did this with Wolfgang 10 mins ago. Took about 5 reloads to get the villager I wanted selected.
So long as you don't say yes or no and it is still in that dialogue, the game won't save it and will let you retry.
Reread my comment and felt I could be more clear. It is important to not say yes or no because then you're stuck even if you close without saving.

What I typically do is look so small bubbles and swim by them to make sure they don’t move. Granted you’ll get a barnacle or a slug but you’ll find some eventually! I found maybe two in one day so they are pretty rare just focus on small bubbles when you’re pearl hunting!
I just catch everything i see it doesn’t take too long and you can always get the extra bells from the other stuff you catch, i have like 5 pearls in storage and I don’t even dive everyday lol
Wetsuit hack: This is great right until you visit the sisters to see what all is for sale that day. The changing room won't let you wear either the wetsuit or a wand outfit. I really do hope nintendo adds an update soon to better handle how the wetsuit is handled. It is treated in the game as a tool. However, unlike a tool, you can't add it to the favorites bar as you wear it like a piece of clothing. But unlike a piece of clothing (because it is a tool), you can't add it to the wand. Just makes it really clunky when it comes to the changing room of the able sisters.
That said, I have been doing what you mentioned myself after seeing your first video showing it off (it was a quick couple frames, but I noticed). Works well enough until the changing room as I've said.

A real good tip is that if you wanted cleaner custom paths, you can add one pixel of transparency to the design and then. You place the custom path on top of a normal and it will fit the path shape
When you hit buttons on the ATM a voice says “nook” with each push.

I've seen a lot of people commenting on Isabelle announcing the weather. While I feel as though she's become a shell of the awesome NPC she was before and her character needs a bit of reworking to make her feel impactful, this one aspect is actually already in the game. If you look closely through the window behind Isabelle as she gives you the morning announcements, you'll see what the weather is right away- a stormy day will even have thunder in the background if you listen closely (and this works in every building on the island), a light rain will appear for a rainy morning that usually tapers off by midday, hazy for fog, a bit dim but sunny for a day that will have rain in the afternoon, and bright and sunny (even illuminating the room more) for a fully sunny day. You can even get an idea of this on the title screen by looking at the state of the island when you log in. It's the little details like this that I love about the game.
I love that you write a description with actual substance unlike most RUclipsrs I've seen.
1) You can close/open the mouth of the T-Rex fossil decoration when pressing A at a T-Rex Head fossil.
2) You can play a basic beat with the drums when hitting A at a 2/4 or 4/4 pattern.
3) Each instrument note is not random, but rather follow a generic beat/composition that fits in with every KK Slider song. Give it a try and try to tap on beat. ;)
The thing you talked about that I was happiest to hear about are the meteor showers being more often than I thought. As far as I knew, I hadn't had one on my island yet, but it sounds like I've just missed them happening.
A problem with the wand hack is that if you’re changing outfits for nook miles it presents a hassle. Since you can neither change clothes while in a wand outfit OR while wearing a wetsuit, some extra steps are required. Might also apply to Abel’s dressing room, though I’ve not tested it yet.
The wetsuit/wand hack doesn't help save any space for my inventory because I don't usually carry a wand around with me. I just change my clothes every day like a person normally would. So whether I have a slot in my inventory for a wet suit or a slot for a wand, it's still one inventory slot taken up.
I’ve caught every wasp without holding a net when I shook the tree. Every time I sprint upwards, then the wasps actually pause when I click my toolbelt. It gives me plenty of time to grab my net and then wait for the wasps to run to me
The problem with the wetsuit hack is that you can't go into the changing rooms in Able's with a wand outfit so when you revert it you have a wetsuit on...which you also can't go into the changing room with. It would become very tedious to have to revert your outfit and change your wetsuit every single time you gotta go to Able's
I’ve been playing for months and I JUST realized something. If you go to the mirror to change your hair color or cut, it usually takes off the hat and glasses. I’ve spent so many times going in and out of the mirror to see the full look. YESTERDAY I found out if you use the mirror, all you have to do is press x and you can see the cut and color with the hat and/or glasses you were wearing! So much wasted time....
I change my clothes from the mini fridge like a decent human being.
I put a picnic cooler on the ground next to Able Sisters as a decoration just so I can run out and double-check if I already own that item or what color the shirt is so I can buy the matching hat. 😂

Horned caps aren't the only hidden 3DS-only clothes format. Regular long-sleeved shirts and dresses without the extra frills/embellishments of things like dress shirts and sweaters can also only be obtained in this way.
That wetsuit trick has been so useful! I love wearing three outfits at once.
Having the wetsuit as default won't let you in the Able Sisters changing room so I don't do it for that reason . I recommend putting a closet on the beach, I use fishing box to change before diving
I don't know if this was mentioned in previous videos, but if you repeatedly press A while crafting at the DIY crafting bench, your character will go crazy fast and crafting time will shorten.
The main reason I ever want to take my wetsuit off is to use the Able Sister's changing room though... and they don't allow costumes on either, so unfortunately the wand/wetsuit trick doesn't help me with that issue.

I used the wetsuit hack since the update was released, but have since stopped doing so because my villagers didn’t comment on my wand outfits or give me little gifts that they thought matched it. It’s a small thing, but I do enjoy their little comments and it adds variety to their daily dialogue.

I displayed by wet-suits on the peninsula of my island with some of my fishing tourney gear to make it look like a little diving/fishing spot. It's cute if I do say so myself and whenever I want to jump in the water, I just head over there and grab it.
I accidently figured out the bit about jumping off the cliffs not too long ago. I was standing on one of my third tier cliffs wishing on stars and all of a sudden my villager just jumped. Freaked me out since I hadn't realized you could accidently jump from the third tier. 😂
Horns. As a new player to the series I didn't know any of this. I especially appreciate the knowledge about meteor showers as I was confused why they never seemed to occur. Thank you!
The wetsuit "hack" is good, it's just that you can't go into a changing room with it on so if you go to the able sister's you have to take all of it off before going into the changing room
I use the Viking hat because it's a nice nostalgic feeling of having the horned hat while being dope as hell!!
Since the start of the game first thing I always did was look for those horned hats in the shop...only to be disappointed they didn't seem to exist. Gonna go look for those codes now. Lol

You can actually get the pitfall seed diy from the bottles you find on the beach. I got mine from Teddy who wasn’t living on my island at the time.
I literally have no friends who are playing acnh so I’m finding it really hard to find all the furniture needed to progress and do what I want with my island without it taking AGES!
Joining some no fee Facebook, discord, or reddit group really helps. I also look for furnitures I don’t have on Nookazon.

I completely forgot about the horn hats. I used to play the original on GameCube, I still have it. I bought new horizons awhile back and love it.

After seeing you use the wetsuit-wand trick I figured out that the wetsuit must be your default clothing. Partly, that’s handy. Partly, it isn’t. You cannot access a wardrobe, nor the fitting room at Able’s with a wetsuit on...
Also, you’re wrong about the weekly meteor showers. According to MeteoNook, I’ll have only 4 light showers this month, the first starting on the 16th. Means there’s about 2 weeks without any meteor shower.
Also, if you’re going to have a meteor shower but isabelle didn’t address it, look at the clouds, usually when theres a meteor shower at day time there will be huge clouds that are different than normal.
Maybe it is just common knowledge but I havent heard a single youtuber mention it.
There are spots in fossil wing of the museum that you can stand to get the camera to turn to look at wide areas. They are marked with blue circles... AND if you go to the very end of the ice age part and stand in the empty area of where the glass pane depicts all the villager outlines, a light will come on indicating that you are the human to complete the exhibit and there is even a line that leads to you that splits off from a monkey villager outline and Australopith skull.
The cliff diving made me so happy!!!
Man I love this game. New Leaf was slightly more fun in my opinion. Also I think the horned hat is a reference to what Animal crossing was originally. Before they thought of Animal Crossing, they wanted to make a 4 player co-op game for the N64 DD which was about exploring dungeons and helping each other solve puzzles (like four swords adventures) but Nintendo wanted to use the N64's clock to its advantage so they scrapped it.
Did you know that if you where changed in a wand outfit at 5am it won’t take you to the Isabelle announcement cutscene?
One time it was raining at my island and I was up late playing animal crossing and I had my rain outfit on because it was raining. When it hit 5am it didn’t show the Isabelle cutscene, when I took off the outfit it took me to the cutscene.
This definitely isn’t the most efficient way of finding out if there is a meteor shower on your island but when there are shooting stars there will be a specific sound it makes before it lands ,almost like a small tinkling/a bell ringing . If you keep hearing this more than once on your island after 7pm it most likely means you are having a light shower and if you are hearing this sound lots and quite frequently then you are having a heavy shower. These sounds have been happening on my island a lot and I have just found out so ☺️🤦🏻♀️
