- Today we are touring this historical boathouse that has been converted into a tiny house at Camp Wapanacki. This spot has hosted our president, Calvin Coolidge, when it was a fishing lodge then was converted into the nations first camp for the blind. Now it's a tiny house on a 25 acre lake and has some of the most beautiful views. Located in Vermont!

Just rented that house for the end of September. So excited to go back there. My Uncle Roger was the director for The New York Institute for the Blind back in the 70’s. Visited the camp several times when I was a kid.
As a former Girl Scout leader in VT perhaps I'm biased, but Camp Wapanaki is one of my very favorite places. Time slips away here. The lake is beautiful, the hiking trails are so inviting.

Were 15 minutes from the Vermont border on the Canadian side and we did the drive last week just checking out the tree views. It’s a pretty gorgeous area for sure!
This brought back memories of being in NC and getting to see fall colors! Here in Florida it’s pretty much always green! Beautiful location and professionally decorated- I’d say it’s well worth a visit!
