dunno if anyone gives a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend for the last few months =)
Thanks for the Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Schallingora Increase Capability Scheme (should be on google have a look)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to dunk like a total badass without the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam got great results with it.
Had jumpers knee issues for years. Found a RUclips that showed an external rotation leg lift ...that did the trick. Sit on the floor, turn your foot outward, lift your leg up. Do sets of 15. Please do a video on this exercise! It works!
WARNING! If you have a previous or existing ankle injury do not attempt the Wall quad stretch. I had a grade 2 right ankle sprain in Feb 2016 and clearly it still isn't healed -_- Just got home from the gym and about to ice. The plyo jumps were wonderful to try though
I will try this full workout tomorrow from start to finish. Yo Chris, do more of these please. I have jumper's knees too and I'm working in my 2 legs vertical jump. My goal is to dunk off standing vertical w/ 2 hands by the end of the year.
Amazing routine, amazing coaching. 100% think these are the best exercises to increase my jump - just wish I had the equipment. I'm going to have to buy some ffsss
I've been trying different gym in our place but sadly no one can give me a sound advice about increasing my vertical jump so here I am doing my own research looking for a true enough program that can help me achieve a dunk. Now I've been doing 5 reps 5 sets of Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift with heavy enough weight like strength training but I lack explosiveness.
I love your videos man! Would it be possible to explain why you're doing curtain excercises? Cause I'm studying PT myself and want to know this so I can use them myself. Big thx and keep up the good work
When doing the pogo rim touch you where showing, you should have him or anyone touch with 2 hand oppose to one handed because it forces them to focus on jumping off two feet more just trying to help pls don’t take it wrong great video
lol to become a one foot jumper you just need to jump a lot and relearn how to jump, what ever you plant first in a 2 foot jump is probably your primary jumping leg
That is awesome! Being able to instruct an elite dunker proves ur flight system works! BTW, the dunker might have some left shoulder problems, scap wing.
Recently came across the video trying to find a solution for jumpers knee. Would you suggest doing the squat box exercise, isolating 1 knee at a time even if the knee is in pain?
Good sir, why are my abductors so damn sore after ball? And my plantar fascitis is killing me .. My right hip and glute are often sore too. I can have a workout that gets rid of the pain but after a night's rest it all comes back and I feel like I'm alway having to work through these symptoms. It's been a few years since I've been active on the courts or in the gym due to my workload and I've also bulked up from around 160lb to around 175lb. Do you think it could just be that I have to get use to my extra weight with all the explosive movement basketball delivers?
Do you have a guideline for people on how many contacts a person should be starting with per session and how many contacts you would max out with after progressing?
Where is this. I got ankle cartilage dented in my left ankle. I think being 2 foot is way to. Can you help me? I'm 30 it's been a year since ankle tear. I'm ready
Why do you perform resistance training after sport specific work, from my understanding that mean you would be getting the most out of the athlete with the sport specific work... let me know you’re thinking I’m actually curious about this. Thank you and thanks for the helpful videos!
I want to increase my vert but I also want leaner/thinner calves. I have heard some people say try long distance running to try to thin the calves but others say that just slows your progression on your vert. Others say vert training is a way to thin your calves but I'm short and I don't want over bulky calves and that's all I see in guys with my height who can jump high. Now I'm so confused now; should I try the running or just work on my vert? Any suggestions, please???
Don't worry about thick or thin calves - just know what to focus your training on. If you're already pretty strong (squat over 1.5x your bodyweight) then focus on plyometrics and power exercises. If you're a quick-footed player who needs to get stronger, do strength exercises. Check your results after 2-3 months and go from there.
Are you a physiotherapist in the first place to perform exercise for his jumpers knee?i think you have to idea what you are doing on the first half of the video.
@stye nyx The first half of the video is pretty common for jumpers knee, although not every person with jumpers knee would necssary benefit from it since the cause of jumpers knee can vary. But the exercises he is given are common treatment exercises, except terminal knee extension. Im in physiotherapy school thats how i know
stretching the IT band does nothing as well...you can't stretch it. but to his credit he did not say foam roll the IT band, I was waiting for it lol...i think he wanted the rolling on the outer quad.
@Toby check completely false. stretching the ITB is questionable and not as recomended, but foam rolling the iliotibial band is beneficial. Although you would need to target TFL, and more importantly work on making sure the pelvis is neutral, since an anteriorly rotated pelvis is one of the main causes of a tight ITB. I am in physiotherapy school, so im not making this up. BTW, generally speaking if a person does have jumpers knee you likely would not want to stretch both the hamstring and quads. i can go into more detail as to why if your curious. hope this helps

Cool guy
What's going on with his shoulders??
Wing scapula?
Ikr. It's bothering me.
Great vid! Bet he's dunking with Isaiah and CJ in Orlando!
Foam rolling on the side of your thigh is brutal. Believe they call it the IT bad. That sucker hurts when tight or after training legs.
Anyone else notice he said yeeeaaaa the same time as trippie red 😂

uzi x nav 🔥
Pickwell ! Still the best one foot dunker of all time in my book.
4:35 What if I have hard pain in my knees while doing this experience?
Borjan Rasuo your quads and hamstrings are not strong enough so they distribute the rest of the weight to your knee joint
iS that lil tracy playin at 4:40

Jumping that foot off
Don't foam roll the IT band it does nothing, foam roam the outer quads/hamstrings and the TFL in the hip instead
stretching the IT band does nothing as well...you can't stretch it.
