I think its half the reason so many woman in these situations give up on walking and continue to gain weight. Their husbands dont support their good health. They only support their bad health. And the woman already have low self esteem so they stay with them. This video only confirms that for me too. Im so happy she succeeded and they are happier because of it.

This is the worse case of lymphedema I think I've ever seen...that was basically where most of the weight was coming from...I was shocked she could still walk...I'm happy she's made progress 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I’ve seen them amputates for lymphedema on this very show… After they lose weight not before of course…
Im so glad this lady had a wonderful and loving husbamd to stand by her qnd be there to support her in her weight loss and she did and their love was growing even stronger so sweet.
She is a true fighter!! Even tho she has a very terrible condition and horrible pain in her legs, she still is motivated to push herself up in the morning and walk as far as possible... God bless you!!!! :)

She is fortunate to have a devoted person by her side. He truly cares for well being. She is such a courageous woman to get up out of bed despite her condition with her legs and to move forward with her life and start losing the weight. Wishing them both well.

If you’re allowed to say your stupid negative opinion, especially when it’s not wanted, then people are allowed to tell you to stfu. You obviously commented under this so someone would comment back or else you would’ve just made your own. But no, here you are!
I think the support helps her succeed. She's not doing this alone, she has the help of someone who is coming along and listening to Dr. Now too. They needed education and medical help with the lymphedema, but they had the will to change on their own.
Seeing her and her husband spend time together is the sweetest thing. He went from her caretaker to her supportive husband is how it should be. It’s sad seeing some of the stories where the person in their lives are stuck in one role as caretaker and can’t seem to transition past that role out of fear.
I was starting to think all incredibly obese people were mean, selfish, manipulative and took pity on themselves. This is such a refreshing episode. No drama, no disrespecting and insulting the people around her not blaming her husband for her weight no blowing up on the Dr doctor. Pure will drive and success I love her and I wish her the absolute best in her new life.
Shows like this try to get people with those traits because it causes more drama which then create more views
@@user-ce9xe1qe8i I wouldn't doubt it however I gained 100lbs and I can tell you attitude towards people and life in general completely changed. I really deteriorated as a person.......I started going to church because I became so mean and terrible. I definitely believe the diet and lifestyle have a chemical reaction with your brain for the worst. I'm saying this from experiencing it food, my body wasn't the only thing that dramatically changed so did my mind.
We never know what someone else is going through or how they got there and it is not up to us to judge one’s situation. You or I could be next. Spread kindness and Lend a helping hand if you can. Keep the faith!! Blessings and love ❤️ always!! You deserve it all!! 🥰🤗🙏🏾

Can we acknowledge how amazing this doctor is specialising in a field with such a high mortality rate but still being so calm and composed.
Tracy's condition is different than others. She had huge lymphadema on both of her legs - which its weight probably half of her initial body weight. So glad she and her husband make it through.
Aww, I loved it when he was happy that she could sit up front with him and he could hold her hand. Little things like that really mean the most. I hope she continues to be successful on her journey!!

She's fully aware of it, willing to listen and not blaming anyone and has the determination to change she deserve that changes
The “willing to listen” is a big part of the success. Oddly, many morbidly obese people on the show, or Amber Lynn Reed, seem to think they know better and are there only to teach/tell others, not to learn, despite having no real success with weight loss.
It's so cute that they cherish the simple joys that come from her hard work, like holding hands as he drives. 💓
Whew, those legs looked like they hurt so bad. She's done great! I hope she has continued success and that she and her husband enjoy their lives to the fullest.
She has a terrible condition but she has not given up. Let's give credit for her wonderful husband who have been there to help her and to fight the condition together. The doctor is extraordinary. It's incredible to see that she managed to completely turn her life around without the help of surgery, especially considering the state her legs were in at the beginning. Also props to the husband for supporting her throughout, finally we get to see someone who seems to genuinely love their partner and not just their overweight body

The first time I have seen someone not needing the surgery. She did really well and was a nice woman with a very loving husband. I have always wondered that if some of them can lose the weight before the surgery then why have it. These people are always saying in the beginning that they are in so much pain and I know if I was in their shoes I would do anything to get rid of the pain. I am in a lot of pain every single day and if there was anything I could do to make it go away I would. This woman deserves a great life!!

Certified lymphedema therapist here, she has lymphedema and lipedema. Lipedema runs in families and causes the weight to settle in the legs. Even if she loses weight her legs will always be disproportionately larger than her upper body. The weight is not helping however.
Way to go Tracey. You knocked it out of the park. I love seeing such a supporting husband too. That makes a difference. I wish you & your husband all the best.

It must be these somewhat rare, cooperative patients that keep him going.
I can't imagine the hopelessness he must feel when patients don't take his very very expert advice and just blow him off.
It would feel like despair- like "Why have I studied so hard and long and become tops un my field and I can't get patients to even take me seriously?"
When they DO take his advice, it works!
So satisfying, especially to him. He can think about those triumphs when he loses a patient.

I absolutely adore the fact that the establishment is encouraging this on tv. It's great, refreshing to see how the majority of cases are and should be treated. Only showing surgery kind of suggests that it's the only option.

I think this has got to be one of my favourite 600lb weight loss stories. because she lost so much on her own!!! She didn't need surgery to remove e whole ton of it, just a little. She's so motivated to keep going, and get help, it's wonderful. I love that. Crazy how much of a difference that first 167 lbs was, she already looked like she was doing so much better!!! That's so impressive. People like that are so strong, I admire them so much. They don't let themselves fail and get depressed enough to stop. It's beautiful. It's also crazy how just eating less makes a difference on weight. She didn't even exercise that much, just ate less. Crazy how much it can change you. Proud of you Tracey.
